Breaker of Chains
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
While the history of Formos itself is long and colored, the presence of the Sith which have come to control it is relatively more recent. The Order of Wonosa, having fled from the Sith Empire, came to establish their new home on Formos and would begin settling in. By the time that the first generation of Formos-born Wonosans would come into being, Darth Strosius and his military forces had already gained a small foothold in the surrounding area via aiding the locals in warding off smugglers and other such threats in order to gain their trust and support. This process of aid and expansion would continue for many years, with more and more settlements gradually donning the banner of Wonosa and submitting themselves to the authority of the Sith due to the support and order that they offered.
Of course taking control of Formos entirely would take time and would not be simply done through matters of diplomacy but the Sith were persistent. The Order became a local power and then a regional one, soon becoming the size of a nation and then a continent as years passed by and more were brought into the fold. An influx of freed slaves and small handfuls of Sith-Imperials would help to bolster the Order's numbers alongside the native Formos people that had joined their ranks, ensuring that the Sith were always ahead in terms of manpower when conflicts did eventually break out.
By the time that Formos City itself fell under the sway of the Order most on the world had already, albeit with some reluctance, accepted the Sith presence and had begun making offers of annexation and vassalization in order to spare themselves invasion. Darth Strosius would declare the Sith Dominion of Formos before the last major cities had even opened discussions with the Order of Wonosa, pressuring all on the world to accept his rule by both military might and the promise of prosperity. The Sith had been waging a war on smuggler and criminal activity throughout their history on the world and as such one major source of income had gradually been dwindled, forcing reliance on the Sith even before they had begun marching to claim major population centers and strategic areas.
Darth Strosius has promised Formos a place in deciding the future of the galaxy, has promised to give them the glory of a Sith Empire and bring them to rival the worlds of the Mid-Rim and even beyond, he has even promised to make Formos a world of Sith fame and renown not unlike the great Dromund Kaas or holy Korriban. While time will tell if he can fulfill these promises, all under his rule can agree that he is genuine in making them. And relentless in pursuing them.

- Planet(s) Chosen: Formos
- Name of the Government: Sith Dominion of Formos
- Relationship With Overlord: Although technically part of the Sith Order, due to Darth Strosius's involvement and position within it, Formos isn't well known as a Sith state at all. This is by design, as their distance from Sith space keeps them hidden from any potential prying eyes and thus any potential enemies. Formos does support the Sith Order but only through the will and decisions made by Darth Strosius, with no heed nor attention paid to any actual decrees or orders from any other entity.
- Type of Government: Theocratic Unitary State
- Symbol:
- Role: By and large Formos is essentially just the personal domain of Darth Strosius, providing him with soldiers and weapons of war as well as a few small industries that keep him relatively self-sufficient. The vast majority of the Sith Order doesn't even know, or simply doesn't really care due to both the great distance and Strosius's own controversial nature, about Formos being Sith ruled at all.
- Leadership: Darth Strosius, Sith Lord of Formos
- Capital: Formos City
- Notable Assets: Formos Spaceport, Formos Industrial Coalition, Formos Dresuoti, Formos City
- Important Members: Darth Strosius: Sith Lord of Formos, Exarch Salneva Limont: Chief Diplomat and Administrator
- Government Stability: High, despite the government being fairly new and centralized the manner of leadership and the iron-clad grip of the military and law enforcement has ensured that the transition to a proper government has been both swift and welcomed. In general the Dominion maintains order both through force and through the promotion of loyal yet competent administrators and leaders, allowing the public to live with the knowledge that their needs and safety is assured.
- Wealth: Medium, Formos maintains a decent flow of commerce through both trade and income from raiding actions against criminal groups in the Outer Rim. Both spoils from their victory and rewards from the locals they assist are returned to the people of Formos. Additionally their industrial sector, while still being built up, does allow them to serve as one of the few worlds in the Outer Rim outputting products at a decent rate and good quality without the need for criminal connections.
- Freedom & Oppression: Formos has what can generously be described as a "benevolent dictatorship." All authority is centered around and reports to the Sith Lord, Darth Strosius, but having said that the local people are allowed to choose their local leaders and are even given free passage into government buildings to listen to meetings and petition for resolutions despite not being able to actually vote on most issues. As long as one isn't a criminal and works to better their world then the average citizen has nothing to worry about, but the moment they step out of line the punishment is swift and brutal to ensure that no crime goes unpunished.
- Imports: Agricultural goods, Advanced mechanical and computer components, Livestock
- Exports: Ship scrap, Refined metals such as Durasteel, Various Blaster parts, Minor Sith relics
- Military Strength Rating: Medium
- Military Force Name: Legion of Wonosa
- Military Force: The Legion of Wonosa is somewhat different from the usual forces one would expect to find garrisoning a world in the Outer Rim. They are numerous and surprisingly well-trained but defending and policing Formos almost seems like an afterthought. Instead the forces of the Dominion are focused on spreading the influence of the Sith and thus use Formos more like a training ground and base of operations than anything else.
- Military Role: The military is seen as one of the main pillars of society on Formos, the valiant defenders of the world and its inhabitants as well as the ones granted the responsibility of spreading the ways and will of the Sith to other worlds. Given that there is very little, if any, distinction between the military forces and the law enforcement forces the local populace is fairly knowledgeable and familiar with the average soldier and thus is generally more comfortable with the idea of joining in their ranks.
- Military Installations: Two of the most notable military bases on Formos would be the Formos Spaceport, where a significant portion of which has been set aside and dedicated to naval assets and organization, and the Dresuoti which is still the main command and control center for the Legion. Formos City itself also boasts a dedicated garrison and defense force as well of course, separate from the Spaceport. A few defensive stations litter the entrance points into the system as well.
