- Description: The Sith Holy Order of Convergence is a massive, militant band of Sith Cultists under the command of Kascalion Giedfield, a Dark Sovereign of the Sith Warlords. Numbering in the millions at any given time during their call to arms, the Dread Crusaders are comprised out of an array of Dark Side magic and military might. Together, these two things enable the Sith Holy Order to sunder even the most powerful of enemies in their engagements and walk away with growing infamy throughout the Galaxy.
- Headquarters:
- Primary: The Dread Fleet
- Secondary: Ing Sedisĥ
- Goals:
- Call of the Crusade: Only formed during the Crusades of the Sith Warlords, the fundamental purpose of the Sith Holy Order of Convergence is to fulfill whatever objectives are set by their Sith overlords. This can either be the complete annihilation of a planet, the subjugation of specific cultures and species, or even just general marauding to act as a smokescreen for their betters. No matter the objective, the Dread Crusaders live to fight, kill and serve on the course to the endgame.
- Recovery of the Ancients: The second purpose of the Dread Crusaders is to recover relics of the Ancient Sith on any planet where they could lay. This is to further the development of the Sith Warlord's foundations and see to it that no one but the Sith has their hands on this profound and expansive history.
- Worship of the Devil: Despite the above, a much darker tertiary purpose can be uncovered. Power-hungry beyond most comprehensions, the ruler of the Dread Crusaders - the Dread Lord himself, Kascalion Giedfield - has ensured that each member worships him as God and spreads the following throughout all enemies and even the ranks of the Sith Warlords entirely. No amount of belief in his might is enough for the Devil, and the Dread Crusaders must never cease in their tireless efforts to shore up his defenses of the faithful.
- Reputation:
- The Sith Holy Order of Convergence has become known throughout the Warlords of the Sith for many reasons, both good and bad, and almost all due to their religious piety in the name of their founder, Kascalion Giedfield - alongside other beliefs of Sithdom itself.
- The adherence to the so-called Covenant of Convergence, as laid forth by Kascalion himself, has served as the primary factor for this reputation. The warriors of the Dread Crusaders denounce any and all opposers to the Covenant and are quick to execute those non-believers, even when the Holy Order has been disbanded in-between Crusades.
- In battle, the Sith Holy Order of Convergence is known for its combined brutality, tactical cunning, and wide dispersal of units across multiple areas in the galaxy. Indeed, it is rare to see the massive numbers of the Dread Crusaders in any one place, if at all. It is quite common for officers to go entire Crusades without ever meeting one another, their knowledge of each other's existence only granted by natural logic and orders from their commanders.
- This does not hamper the Dread Crusaders' tactical mastery, however, as their strategies are as varied as any Imperial Legion - with a thematic twist, of course. From using Sithspawn bred to be cannon-fodder in order to whittle down the enemy before striking with their collective horde-like might, or setting up intricate ambushes in the night, the Sith Holy Order of Convergence is - simply put - made for war.
- The Sith Holy Order of Convergence has become known throughout the Warlords of the Sith for many reasons, both good and bad, and almost all due to their religious piety in the name of their founder, Kascalion Giedfield - alongside other beliefs of Sithdom itself.
- Army Size: Huge
- Numbering in the millions, the Sith Holy Order of Convergence is truly a force to be reckoned with whenever they have been deployed for a Crusade. Comparably, their overall size has been listed as being anywhere from two-hundred-thousand to four-hundred-thousand depending on the intensity of the Crusade and how many soldiers were able to be rallied under the crimson-black banner.
- Composition:
- The Dread Fleet: The mobile headquarters of the Dread Crusaders, the Dread Fleet is the system-spanning fleet comprised of hundreds - if not thousands - of ships. Helmed by the Hollowed Grave, the Dread Fleet soars through the void with nothing more than malicious intent when the Crusades are called, prepared to annihilate, indoctrinate, and subjugate all foolish peasants and warriors put before it. It is a fleet of destruction and fear, armed to the teeth and as sturdy as a pure Beskar fortress.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Dread Fleet maintains its wide dispersal across the Galaxy, although it increases its patrol of new and old allied systems rather than continuing to infest outwards.
- The Sithspawn Horde: Encompassing the largest numbers in the order, the Sithspawn Horde is the vast collection of monstrosities created by Kascalion Giedfield and the Warlords of the Sith entirely. They, therefore, are used in the widest variety of tactics - matched only by the Devil's Chapters. Depending on the particular Sithspawn in use, this can be anywhere from feints to lure in the enemy or hunting down recon units to prevent reports of defensive or offensive formations or even rapid-strike slaughterings of forward encampments.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Sithspawn Horde are deployed across a number of operations very similar to their Crusades, although in a lesser quantity.
- The Mutant Corps: A sub-unit of the Sithspawn Horde, the Mutant Corps are a band of soldiers from every unit in the Dread Crusaders that have been outfitted with a number of horrific modifications. Most of them seem to have their origins in Sith Alchemy, particularly Mechu-Deru.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Sithspawn Horde are deployed across a number of operations very similar to their Crusades, although in a lesser quantity.
- The Reavers of Kavar: The frontline combatants of the Sith Holy Order of Convergence, these mammoth warriors bred from the Dark Side have helped build the reputation of brutality. In great swarms, they attack with great energy axes, heavily modified Lightsaber Broadswords, and even large blaster pistols.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Reavers of Kavar are placed into stasis tanks across the Devil's personal holdings until such time as they are needed once more. This is due to their rarity and difficulty in creating them.
- The Devil's Chapters: Elite units created under the purview of
Darth Voyance
and
Vora Kaar
, the Battle Chapters known as the Hollow Despoilers, the Sith Clone Black Bulls, and the Stormwalkers, round out a ranged offense and defense. Capable of combatting even enemy Force Users due to their unmatched skills in warfare and their jack-of-all-trades genetics, the Dread Crusader's unified Battle Chapters are truly worthy of their high placement in the hierarchy and place on the battlefield.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Devil's Chapters fight on individual fronts for the Sith Warlord's many violent engagements, often as the wanton slaughtering machines needed to quell the enemies of unconquered planets.
- The Chapters' Armor: Operated by the more mechanically inclined members of the Devil's Chapters, these are the armored lines of heavy vehicles (artillery, tanks, mechanized walkers, troop carriers) and anti-vehicle defenses of the Sith Holy Order of Convergence. Often seeing the first flames of combat even before the Sithspawn, the Chapters' Armor ensures that any advancing forces are not cut down in droves before being able to inflict any lasting damage on their foes.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Chapters' Armor will rejoin their respective Battle Chapters to serve the Devil in his multiple fronts of battle on much smaller scales.
- The Shades: Similar to the Reavers of Kavar, the Shades are men and women tortured and transformed by Sith Alchemy but operate in entirely different fields of battle. They fight behind enemy lines as assassins and Force Duelists and reinforce the bulwarks as heavy enforcers, crafted out of the purest malice of Kascalion Giedfield. With a list of accomplishments as long as the Tingel Arm itself, the Shades are - in many ways - the success story of the Dread Crusaders, and it is by their hand that many of their operations have proven fruitful.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Shades serve as the Devil's primary enforcer in the shadows and carry out his deeds with silent perfection.
- Priests of Kavar: Where the members of the Shades reinforce the bulwark and shadows of the Sith Holy Order of Convergence, the Priests reinforce the frontlines. Preferring to strike fear in the hearts of their enemies, boost the morale of those alongside them, and cast unholy spells of healing, the Priests of Kavar are the backbone of the offensive forces of the Dread Crusaders. The Priests also serve as the Devil's alternative to scouts, perceiving the battlefield and future through Force Visions and planar travel.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Priests of Kavar serve alongside the other priestly orders of the Warlords of the Sith and carry little to no special rank or privilege beyond this.
- Helgardi Remnants: Survivors of the New Imperial Order's invasion of Helgard, these are the Helgardi who have remained cuffed to the fate of the Devil. They are unfailingly loyal - perhaps more than any other in the Dread Crusaders - and take their role as frontline infantry very seriously and proudly.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, the Helgardi Remnants fill Kascalion's honor guard, following him to the most dangerous of areas on the most dangerous of missions.
- Sith Knights: The standard fare of Sith, these Knights are the least numerous in the Dread Crusaders and often act as the glorified bodyguards of the much more prestigious Priests. While once only arriving in the form of reinforcement ships had the need arisen, they enjoyed a permanent fixture following the battle against the New Imperial Order on Csilla.
- When operating outside of the Crusades, these particular Sith Knights follow their masters and the Dark Sovereigns of the Sith, although they follow a particularly stronger allegiance to the Devil.
- The Risen: Should a battle go completely awry or should the fancy hit him, the Devil will call upon the might of Tsaiwinokka Hoyakut and raise a large selection of those who have fallen in battle - both ally and enemy. Impervious to pain and capable of transmitting their fate through bites, the Risen are seen as the clutch of the Dread Crusaders in times of disaster.

Created during the onset of the Sith Warlord's original crusade upon Malachor V under the control of Darth Vinaze , the Sith Holy Order of Convergence serves as the combined military force of Kascalion Giedfield. It was in this first Crusade that they faced their foundational tests as an organization under the dark pressures of their overlords, who promptly left them to their devices in search of their own goals.
Under fire from the Sith-Imperials defending the dead world and having never even been trained as a collective before, many would assume that the Dread Crusaders would fall in quick fashion. Surprisingly, they not only survived but thrived in their new chaotic environment, proving quite decisively that they deserved to live on under the control of the Devil and see future conflicts.
Since this day, the Sith Holy Order of Convergence has presented some of the strongest warriors the Devil can produce. With each battle, they fight to prove such claims with vigorous intensity and feverish passion. Yet, similar to other crusading orders of ages past, the Dread Crusaders only see the fires of these engagements together - as one - during specific times in the history of the Warlords. They can go dispersed and inactive for months or years on end.
During these times, the individual forces of the Dread Crusaders go about their own business, ensuring that their skills do not atrophy and that whenever they are called to join together once again, they can combine their experiences with perfection and find victory once again.
