Public Sith Hunting

Tags: Garric Wrennar Garric Wrennar Darth Moskvin Darth Moskvin

A Sith ship entered the lower atmosphere of Jutrand on a beautiful sunset. Not much on this planet could be considered beautiful, thanks to all the corruption and exploitation of the Sith. However this ship did not carry Sith. quite the opposite, It carried Jedi. They were on a mission to hunt down and capture powerful Sith Lords, and if those Sith didn't have the information that they required, they would be... disposed of for the good of the people. 2 of the Jedi ( Vivia Rompdew1 Vivia Rompdew1 and Garric Wrennar Garric Wrennar ) were powerful Jedi of the past, and Vivia needed a Sith in order to return home to her friends, as well as her lover. The ship landed in a hangar, and as the 2 disguised Jedi walked out and were greeted by a Sith official asking for identification.

"You won't need identification"
"I won't need identification"
"You will point us toward the nearest Sith Lord"
"I will show you to my boss, Lord Xenix" And with that, the official told them how to get to Lord Xenix's office building. Xenix was a businessman who owned many companies, including that of the hangar that the Jedi were now leaving. He profited by using slave labor as many Sith do, but if the Jedi were successful, this would be his last day doing so.

Vivia was getting a familiar feeling. The same feeling she got after she killed the Sith master of her time, Darth Tralfax, and the leaders of the Tython coalition. Most of it was the feeling of eliminating a threat to the galaxy, but just the ensiest bit of her felt a sense of... joy, when killing an opposing force user. She had been trained not to take joy in killing, but she had been raised in a time without evil force users, and thus she could never be tested by them. She had been taught to use form VII which mostly utilised dark emotions, but learning a form of combat was way different from actually killing someone. So when she first extiguished the life of a Sith, thus preventing them from doing any more harm, she took pride and joy in it. That's not to say she took joy in all forms of combat, she was horrified by the terrors of the Tython war. But ending a single life that posed a threat to many more gave her a true sense of accomplishment. For a second, she considered staying in 902 BBY, but she had a responsibility to return to her time. To the people, to her friends, and to her lover. She also realized something. This was a Sith planet, if she killed one, another would take their place and she would have helped no one in the end, whereas if she returned to her own time to help with the post-war rebuilding process, she could actually help people in need. And honestly killing a Sith could be a bad thing, because the replacement could be a slightly more humane Sith or a horrific one, which would just bring more suffering. She justified doing this by telling herself that the pros of going home outweighed the con of a worse Sith taking over, and that she would try to get as many innocent people as possible to safety. She knew this could mess up the mission, but she had to try to help them.

They got to the office building and entered without a hitch, using a mind trick to keep their weapons from being confiscated. Lord Xenix was in his office filling out paperwork and discussing business with his apprentice, Krilla, when he heard the familiar ignition and clashing of lightsabers, so Krilla went to open the door. Outside his office, his 5 Sith guards were attacked by Garric Wrennar Garric Wrennar and Vivia Rompdew1 Vivia Rompdew1 . Eager to defeat Xerix, Vivia pushed a guard out of her way into the room with the force and began dueling the Sith Lord and his apprentice. Xerix threw a lightsaber to his apprentice, it seem she hadn't earned one yet. The duel was a vicious fight, but it was obvious that Vivia was the most experienced duelist of the 3. One major advantage that the light side had against the dark was that Jedi were much better at working together than the Sith, and it showed in this fight. The master was defending the apprentice, but their teamwork wasn't good enough to launch a good counterattack. If it was just Vivia and Krilla, Krilla would have been dead in 10 seconds. Vivia's orange blade danced with the Sith's red ones. Vivia disarmed Xerix, sending his lightsaber up in the air, but he fired Sith lightning at Vivia, who deflected it into Krilla. Xerix caught his saber, but was force pushed into the wall as Krilla rushed at Vivia. Vivia rolled under a strike, and slashed out. as she stood up, Krilla fell down behind her, bisected at the waist, dead. Xerix, fueled by rage, pulled his deceased apprentice's lightsaber to him and ignited it. Vivia's orange blade danced with the Sith's red ones, until she chopped off his left hand, leaving him with only one saber.

Sitting on top of a rooftop, my long legs dangling over the edge as Archie flopped about trying to catch insects in his murderous beak, that held a sensational view of both the Sith Captial and the Emperor's Palace. My mind was betwixt on why I was staying her among the other Sith where my hatred for my kin ran deep and through my icy veins, and why was the Sith Archives infrastructure under construction; again. I am afforded the time to genuflect on my dark thoughts, for I owe no allegiance to any other individual or political movement. I hold very little belief in the Sith Code, but my chains that tethered me to personal restraints long since been shattered like splintering bones.

Even from this view, I could scrutinize both inbound and outbound ships coming to the main space dock, and the lesser docks as well. Jutrand had grown into a trading hub of sorts, and the flow of ships today was a testimony to Jutrand's growth. But something was off. A stench of sorts had fumigated the flavoring aroma of the Dark Side, its pollution meant only one thing: Jedi. The Light Side held no sway here, and it was easy to detect among us Dark Side philanthropists. And it brought to the forefront of my twisted mind a curiosity of sorts. By construction, I've always been a curious sort.

I slithered off the edge of the edifice, free falling through the air before activating one my trinkets, transferring myself into a midnight-colored raven. I'm not just a Sith Lord, but a Dathomirian Nightsister as well; a breed apart in terms of magical philosophies. As I flew toward the docks, Archie fell in place on my left; birds of the same feather and all. In flight, my suspicions were confirmed, but I revealed nothing of myself. I wondered, though, how Jedi as bold as these two were, would come to the Heart of the Sith? I followed them until they vanished inside a building, one I was familiar with, and now was filled with a frigid sense of intrigue.

I watched, with growing fascination, from a window's ledge the events unfold inside.
"You should not spare Lord Xerix," announcing my presence as I transformed back into my deathly form. Sliding through the window, the magical bones woven in my black dreadlocks clinking together in unison, adding in my process, "Lord Xerix has long exhausted its usefulness, according to the whispers haunting the Palace grounds. So please, make me proud, Jedi, and kill him now. But his lightsabers are mine, do with what you wish with his dead apprentices' hilt."

Vivia Rompdew1 Vivia Rompdew1 / Garric Wrennar Garric Wrennar

Garric Wrennar Garric Wrennar had almost finished his fight, killing all the guards but one, whom Vivia force pulled onto her blade.
"And you are?" Vivia asked the new person, Darth Moskvin Darth Moskvin . Vivia waited for a second.
"Oh well. It seems our goals are alligned. For now."
"I will kill him. But first I need him to answer a question, and depending on his answer, he will either get a quick death, or a death so slow and painful that Abeloth herself would consider it inhumane. So tell me "my lord","
she said mockingly,
"What do you know of the world between worlds?"
"I know nothing, you Jedi filth!" Said Xerix.
"You know, very few Sith have my respect, but if there is one kind of Sith that I dislike the most, Its one who sits in the protection of an ivory tower while forcing others to do their evil for them, all the while they profit from something they didn't earn" Said Vivia, as she held the man in place with the force, and used scissors alongside her lightsaber to torture answers out of him.
"You... HYPOCRITE!" he screamed in agony as she pried open his left wrist.
"Is it hypocritical for a defender of peace and justice to torture and kill a monster such as yourself?" Sensing that he truly did not have any information she was looking for, she chopped his head off with her bright orange blade and watched it roll toward the window, before the new Sith, Darth Moskvin Darth Moskvin stopped it with her foot. She then grabbed Krilla's saber. It would be useful to have a red blade to trick weaker minded Sith, however the 2 Jedi evidently did not mask their identity well enough for the new Sith in the room. Vivia turned to Darth Moskvin Darth Moskvin and asked,
"So, tell me who you are, why you're here, and why we shouldn't kill you right here"

Garric honestly hadn't thought much of helping Vivia in her goal. They were both strangers to the time, leaving their own times and arriving here (though very differently). He admits to himself, however, that he may be selfish in his decision to help her. There was the chance he may be able to join her and return to his own time as well, but he and yet to decide if that was what he would do. Either way, it seemed potentially selfish, this choice.

Either way, here they were now, taking down a Sith in his own base so they can gain information. When they reached him, he couldn't say he approved of Vivia's threats, and spoke as such.

"You would do well to not threaten torture, young lady. Even if one has control over their emotions, torture is something that should not be used."

He then turned to the other Sith who had arrived and requested the now-dead lord's lightsaber. Upon seeing her, Garric recognised her right away.

"Hey, you're that Sith I met in the Corusant underground. What are the chances I see you here. What, did we take down a rival of yours?"

"I may have only fought 5 Sith so far, but anyone who has read a history book should understand, the main thing 99.9% of Sith understand and use, is fear" She said with a hint of frustration in her voice. Its funny. Despite Vivia's immense disdain for Sith, she was one of the few jedi in history who actually befriended one. But Darth Nosnum was different from these Sith. Very different. Then she calmed down a bit and said,
"You know what, you've probably fought exponentially more Sith than I have, and I should apologize and listen to you, but my people need me, and I'm willing to inflict pain on a few bad people in order to protect my people from war, famine and disease"

"You know her?" Vivia asked.

The city was certainly alive tonight, it was undeniable.

The raucous clashing of a nearby tavern brawl had spilled out onto the street, drawing the attention of the nearby peacekeeping forces and Leo wasn't about to stay to enjoy the show. Slipping into an alleyway, he deftly summited to a darkened rooftop from which to gain a better vantage on his surrounds. There was opportunity everywhere for those with the eyes to see it.

It wasn't long before such an opportunity presented itself. A sudden clash in the force, glaringly apparent on a planet such as Jutrand, drew his attention towards the waterfront. This was definitely an anomaly worth investigating.

Careful to conceal his presence, he took off across the rooftops in the direction of the disturbance, Why could he feel the light side of the force in this blackened pit? What was it doing HERE?

He would have his answer soon, as he made his arrival to a well maintained office complex near the docks he noticed a lithe, slender figure make its way inside, immediately hit by the immense force aura now present in this singular building.

This may be more dangerous than I had first thought. Leo pondered, But you're going to check it out nonetheless right?

Of course…

Leaping across to the office roof and careful to not follow the strange figure directly into the building, Leo chose a different point of entry. A small skylight gave way and allowed him to quietly slink inside, quickly finding a concealed perch from which to observe.

There had been a fight here, one deftly decided by the two obvious light-side users standing over the corpses of two former Sith. Interesting. What was even more interesting was the figure he had seen enter as he arrived was now speaking with them, and the absolute abyss of power emanating from her had even Leo on edge. To him, it seemed like a cat watching two small birds unable to move, knowing it had the power to do as it pleased.

He began to eavesdrop on their conversation, suppressing his force presence to the best of his ability as he did. He might have been able to turn the tide either way, but first he had to know what was going on here if he was going to make the most out of it. For now he would simply try to stay hidden and observe...

As cold as a grave, and equally silent, I stared at the two Jedi; ignoring the two questions whilst my eyes fed off their appearances. Then my mouth slowly opened, words crawling out like an escaping corpse from ancient entombment, shrouded in a tone of callousness, "You dare to riddle me with questions, Jedi, on a Sith world? And threaten me?" The room filled with a crackling sound of menacing laughter that broke free between my lips. I pulled back the flaps on my hooded robe, exposing the two dangling hilts swaying on my waist.

"You have no power to request my name, do so again and I will feed your tongue to my raven. Secondly, you and this other Jedi are the interlopers. And thirdly, my misguided Jedi, I have slayed more of your kind and my kind than time itself. But let us retract our emotions first, Jedi, for it is dangerous for you to give into those darker catharsis feelings."

Removing my eyes from the two Jedi and turning my back on them to examine the dead Lord, showing the pair, I found them beyond my level of power; and attention. I knelt down staring into the face of the Lord Xerix, promptly plucking both eyes out from their housing sockets with my long, blackened nails; tossing them up in the air for Archie to catch and feast upon.

"You may call me Lady Death for now," I said rising back up to my full height, "Names hold power, and only fools freely expose theirs to strangers." I turned around, holding Lord Xerix's tongue in my left hand. With a sleight of hand, I had removed it from his mouth; pulling a parlor trick on the Jedi, putting it in one of the inner pockets of my robe for Archie later.

"Enlighten me, Jedi? Why are you here hunting Sith? Surely with the galaxy engulfed in glorious turmoil, there are those suffering you should be tending to, less I am mistaken. Or do you think the Sith are the only plague spewing its pestilence across the galaxy that requires culling?" I looked to the older Jedi, politely nodding to answer his question, before turning back to the murderous Jedi, "I am here for the same reason, to weave the Sith into extinction. Though, I do so subtly and quietly. Sith, like you Jedi, die all over this wretched galaxy constantly, and unlike the Jedi who mourn and erect monuments and eternal flames for your fallen....Sith don't mourn our lost ones."

With a cryptic grin slowing pasting across my lips, I concluded, "So why should I humble myself if a Sith dies mysteriously, or never returns back to the Order? One more dead Sith only entices me with rapturous pleasures, blissful tingles all over my undead body."

Vivia was taken aback by the sith woman telling her not to give in to hate, she thought were all about letting people give in to anger, but it sort of made her reflect on how the Tython war had changed her. 20 year old Vivia would never have tortured a person, even a Sith, but being a soldier made her believe that some atrocities were necessary for peace, but having a Sith of all people call her out really shook her, and made her question if what she did to Xerix was right. Once she had mostly calmed down, she started thinking more logically. This woman was a Sith, yes, and not one like Nosnum, but they were on a Sith planet, and it would be nice to not be enemies with every Sith on Jutrand. Once she had mostly calmed down, she started thinking more logically. This woman was a Sith, yes, and not one like Nosnum, but they were on a Sith planet, and it would be nice to not be enemies with every Sith on Jutrand. She considered telling the woman her position in the Jedi order to dissuade her from attcking the 2 Jedi, but she figured that would only escalate things. And besides, if she saw through their guise, maybe she was more of a threat than Vivia Gave her credit for.

"I know that the Sith are not the only "Plague", as you say, which is precisely why I am hunting Sith. You see, my people are suffering, and the only way to help them is through Sith knowledge. I'm not just here to kill. I'm here to interrogate" She didn't tell the Sith her full story for fear of her or other Sith accessing the world between worlds. Dank Ferrik, Vivia thought to herself. She just realized that she had interrogated Xerix about the world between worlds in front of this "Lady Death", and if she did a bit of research and put the puzzle pieces together, there was a chance she could uncover Vivia's full intentions. She should have been more mindful of the situation, but she let her emotions get the better of her. Vivia's anxiety spiked, but she hid it well.
One more dead Sith only entices me with rapturous pleasures, blissful tingles all over my undead body.
Vivia raised her one of her large, blueish eyebrows, wondering if the woman was really sleeping with dead bodies, or if it was just a strange sounding metaphor. And if she truly was undead, Vivia would have yet another zombie story to tell padawans.

Violence... Conflict... Luka could feel it up ahead. She knew better than to involve herself, or thought she did - but the voice of her brother urged her on, speaking from the durasteel freezer-coffin she dragged behind her in chains. The headless, frozen body spoke only to her. He was guiding her, but he never answered why. She stopped asking.

Jo'Han Felcado said:
"Up ahead. Your path lies ahead - they know where the rest of me is. Kill them, and I can be whole again, Luka."

"J-jo... Haaa-uhnn" she barely managed to utter through the paralysis of her vocal muscles.

One day, he will be whole again. She will fix him, piece him together, and he will guide her to the boy.

Her boy.

But there was a hunt ahead.
Luka set down the freezer, gently laying the chains overtop. He had seen enough conflict, Luka tried to assure it that she would be back, once it was safe.

The Jedi battle master - corrupted thoroughly with the dark side of the Force, investigated the disturbance up ahead, brandished her double-bladed saber staff and approached the sounds ahead.
