- Fire, water and oil resistant chemical coating applied to fatigues.
- Compact ruck capable of holding a field engineer's basic field kit and comms unit, can be modified and interchanged for more specialized tasks.
- Fitted with "Acumen" Helmet System
- High tolerance auto transition lens shade in helmet visor to protect user's vision from welding and gunnery flash.
- Boot mounted holster able to accommodate a light blaster pistol.
- Offers adept protection against the elements/fire resistance.
- Optimized communication and display system for vehicle crewmen.
- Lightweight and minimized armor panels allows for suitable maneuverability in enclosed spaces and through tight hatches as well as enhanced user comfort.
- Built in helmet respirator able to filter through toxic and poisonous atmospheres.
- Provides very little protection against small arms and explosives, more utilitarian and minimalist than it is a combat load-out. Though additional armor plates may be equipped to the wearer most common configuration leaves the wearer flatly exposed to small arms and high explosives.
- Bulky helmet setup can prove to be a nuisance when traversing enclosed spaces or operating incompatible gunnery sights.
The principal concept of the Combat Engineer Armor loadout is to provide a standardized uniform to all Sith-Imperial sapper corps and ground vehicle crewmen that is suitable to its task. Minimizing the equipped armor to a basic cuirass and pauldrons to provide basic upper body protection when exposed from vehicle hatches, otherwise allowing maneuverability for the wearer when in an enclosed space akin to a light to medium vehicle's crew cabin.
Though the protective element of the duraplast armor is suitable to absorb smaller charge blaster bolts the more starkly exposed fatigue underlayer is more aimed to protect the user from internal compartment flames in the event that a vehicle is knocked out in battle. The helmet design is a unique one, able to accommodate a vehicle synced HUD displaying its current status and that of its interlinked crewman with a communication system equally optimized to ensure clear communication between crewmen and vehicle squadrons. Though less cumbersome than equivalent helmets it can still prove a mild inconvenience in tightly enclosed spaces but its made up for in its utility and protection.
- Balanced resistances.
- Fixed Formatting
- Added Acumen to special features to replace previous HUD writeup,
