For the Republic!
The Sith invasion of Togoria is starting!
Everyone that want to play a part in the bold attempt to keep Togoria from falling under the darkness should try and find a writing partner from our loved enemies in the One Sith in this thread. Please read the rules stated in the opening post of that thread.
Every member of the Republic can pick and choose from this inventory list to make their character a tough nut to crack. Republic Inventory - LINK.
I would advice that you browsed the inventory carefully and choose your equipment with care.
There are a couple of OOC advice to be sending your way during the invasion.
- Be polite to your co-writer.
- Write because you love to write. Not to win a computer game.
- Do not quit your thread. The GR has lost many invasions not becasue their writer or characters are poor, but rather because many get distracted by other things and "forget" about the invasion. Please hold on throughout the invasion. If that is a problem you should consider not joining for the sake of those that want to try and best the beast
- Take hits if you feel it is appropriate, but dont let them write what happen to your character. You decide what happens to your character, no one else! Nor should you write what happens to your co-writers chaarcter. That is up to her.
- Keep an OOC communication open with your co-writer. Make sure to ask if you dont understand something. If you doubt it is within reasonable limits and your co-writer dont listen to that ear contact [member="Reshmar"] or myself.
- Enter the invasion with a focus on your own battle. Do not waste energy on everything else that is going on. Invasions are great fun but sometimes it gets too much when everyone chims in on everything, and it drains your energy from what you really should be focusing on.
- If you are new to invasions, ask a senior GR writer for advice. There are plenty around.
- The only thing that counts for win or loss is the amount of won or lost matches. The setting, what ahppens in the story etc will not matter. What matter is what you and your co-writer finally decide regarding which character has the upper hand on the 29th when the invasion ends.
Good luck and may the force be with you, always!
