  • Intent: To create a rare and highly sought-after Sith-forged material, imbued with Dark Side energy and inscribed with ancient runes, capable of enhancing Sith artifacts, weapons, and structures. Due to the rituals required to properly inscribe and awaken its properties, only a select few artifacts contain true Sith Rune-Inscribed Blackstone, making it an elite material of the Dark Side.

  • Model: Sith Rune-Inscribed Blackstone
  • Modularity: No
  • Production: Semi-Unique
  • Material:
    • Sith Blackstone: A dark, mineralized stone imbued with the essence of the Dark Side, extracted from ancient Sith ruins, tombs, and sacred sites.
    • Sith Alchemical Infusion: Enhanced through rituals of pain and sacrifice, increasing its ability to absorb and amplify Dark Side energy.
    • Rune Inscription: Carved with ancient Sith glyphs that bind its sorcerous properties into permanence.
    • Obsidian Voidshard Traces: Some variants contain fragments of Voidshards, enhancing perception-warping and mind-affecting capabilities, but not enough to negate suppression effects.

  • Conduit of the Dark Side: Sith Blackstone is not merely stone, it is a vessel for the Force, amplifying the Dark Side power of those who wield it. Weapons, artifacts, and armor forged with Blackstone carry an unnatural hunger, allowing their wielders to channel Sith sorcery with greater potency.
  • Sith Runes: Bound Rituals in Stone: When inscribed with Sith runes, the Blackstone acts as a permanent spell anchor, binding curses, maledictions, and Dark Side enchantments into its structure. These runes do not fade, they pulse and shift, reacting to the emotions and presence of the Dark Side.
  • Resistant to Light Side Purification: Unlike many Sith-forged materials, Blackstone resists Jedi purification techniques, making it extremely difficult to cleanse or destroy through conventional Light Side means.
  • Reality Distortion Properties: When combined with Obsidian Voidshards, Blackstone can create subtle warping effects around weapons and artifacts, distorting perception, distance, and physical reality slightly.

  • Dark Side Conduit: Amplifies the power of Sith rituals, curses, and Dark Side artifacts, making it an essential material for forged weapons, armor, and sorcerous constructs.
  • Indestructible by Conventional Means: Sith-forged Blackstone is highly resistant to energy and kinetic attacks, making it nearly impossible to break by normal means.
  • Rune-Bound Power: Etched Sith runes ensure its properties do not fade, permanently binding spells, Dark Side enhancements, and maledictions to the material.
  • Light Side Resistance: Cannot be easily purified or broken by Jedi Force Light alone, requiring an extreme ritual of immense power to sever its connection to the Dark Side.
  • Reality-Warping Capabilities (Voidshard Variants): Weapons and artifacts made with Blackstone may subtly distort perception, making their movements unpredictable and their wielders more difficult to track.

  • Requires Sith Alchemical Activation: Raw Blackstone has no inherent power, it must be carved, inscribed, and awakened through Sith rituals to reach its full potential.
  • Heavy & Dense: Due to its composition, Blackstone is incredibly heavy, making weapons forged with it unwieldy to all but the strongest users.
  • Dark Side Dependency: While resistant to the Light, prolonged exposure to extreme Jedi purification rituals can weaken its potency over time.
  • Cannot Be Wielded by the Unworthy: If one who is not attuned to the Dark Side attempts to use an artifact made from Blackstone, the material remains dormant, refusing to channel energy.
  • Inherently Malicious: Artifacts and weapons made from Blackstone develop a ‘will’ of their own, influencing weak-minded wielders to act on darker impulses.
  • Force Suppression: While Sith Rune-Inscribed Blackstone is deeply imbued with the Dark Side, it is not immune to Force suppression fields or Ysalamiri nullification zones. When exposed to such environments, its Dark Side amplification ceases, preventing it from channeling Sith sorcery or empowering artifacts. However, due to the trace amounts of Obsidian Voidshards embedded within, minor perception distortions and hallucinatory echoes may briefly persist even under suppression. These residual effects fade over time, offering no true protection against full nullification.

"Forged from the abyss, inscribed with ruin—Blackstone is the foundation of Sith dominion."

Sith Rune-Inscribed Blackstone is a rare and powerful material, harvested from the most sacred ruins of the ancient Sith and infused with Dark Side rituals. It is not merely a mineral, but a living repository of malevolent energy, acting as a conduit for Sith sorcery, amplifying rituals, and binding curses into permanence.

For millennia, Sith Lords have excavated, shaped, and reforged Blackstone into weapons, armor, and artifacts, creating relics of unparalleled power. Each Sith Empire that has risen and fallen has left its mark on this material, deepening its corruption, strengthening its connection to the abyss.

But Blackstone is not for the weak. To awaken its true power, a Sith must carve their will into the stone itself, etching runes of power, hatred, and dominion into its surface. This process is not simply engraving, it is binding, a fusion of mind, will, and the Force. The wielder must pour their essence into the inscription, marking the stone as their own.

Once completed, the Blackstone becomes a true artifact of the Dark Side, allowing the Sith who inscribed it to channel their strength through it, amplifying their spells, their weapons, and their reach into the Force. However, Blackstone is not passive, it is alive with the echoes of those who shaped it. Weapons and artifacts made from it hunger for battle, whispering to those who wield them, urging them toward violence and conquest.

In the hands of a Sith Master, Blackstone is a tool of unparalleled power. In the hands of the weak? It is a curse waiting to consume.
