• Description:
  • Sith Sovereign Protectors are the elite bodyguards of Darth Solipsis , the Dark Lord of the Sith and Voice of the Maw. They are a cadre of dark warriors handpicked from the most elite Force-sensitive conscripts indoctrinated by the Final Dawn. Trained in the Jedi Arts and given rudimentary knowledge of the Dark Side of the Force, only the most elite soldiers of the Final Dawn were selected to become Sith Sovereign Protectors. After enduring years of harsh selection procedures and brutal training exercises aimed at achieving perfection during the early years of the Brotherhood of the Maw’s existence, extreme standards were set for combat fitness, stamina, strength, dexterity, mental acuity, reaction time, loyalty and intelligence. The result was a fanatical, unyielding loyalty to the Dark Lord of the Sith with the skill to combat a Jedi in combat. The Sith Sovereign Protectors are primarily stationed on Exegol, within the throne room of the Sith Citadel; a small escort is present on O’Reen, inside the Grand O’Reenian Palace at the side of High Regent Derix Tirall ; and very seldomly onboard the Holy City of Gehinnom within the bowels of Darth Solipsis’s laboratory.

• Combat Function:
  • The Sith Sovereign Protectors' primarily serve as the elite honor guard of the Dark Lord of the Sith and his closest subordinates, their secondary duty being the enforcement of their master's will and guarding the Dark Lord's interests throughout the galaxy. Individually they are skilled enough in combat to nearly keep up with a fully trained Jedi Knight with the Force as his/her ally. As a unit, they utilize swarm tactics and attempt to overwhelm enemies together as a single cohesive force.

Strengths:

• Trained in the Jedi Arts:
  • Trained by the Dark Lord Darth Solipsis and his student Maestus , these warriors are proficient practitioners of Form II Makashi and Form V Shien making them capable combatants with a lightsaber.
• Martial Artists:
  • Each member of the Sith Sovereign Protectors is an adept practitioner of Teräs Käsi, a martial arts form created to combat Jedi. They hone their skills each day over long sparring sessions and brutal training sessions.
• Rudimentary knowledge of the Dark side of the Force:
  • Trained by Maestus to harness their anger and pain, they are able access telekinetic abilities of the Force and draw on their rage in order to strengthen their bodies.

Weaknesses:

• Fanatical:
  • Due to the manner in which they were conscripted and molded with indoctrination, the Sith Sovereign Protectors are absolutely fanatical in their resolve to keep their charge safe no matter whether it leads to personal harm or sacrificing their own lives to do so. They will do anything to complete their assigment and enact their master's will, often to their own detriment physically and psychologically. They are dependent on the Dark Lord for their existence, without their charge they hold no purpose.
• Sociopaths:
  • The heavy indoctrination, brutal training exercises, and rigorous selection process has bred out emotion from the protective detail, they all essentially suffer from antisocial personality disorder. They are incapable of maintaining any sort of relationship or understand emotion outside of their own twisted feelings.
• Invaluable:
  • The amount of time it takes to train and create a Sith Sovereign Protector from scratch is extremely resource intensive, to put it simply; the Final Dawn cannot replace their number until years after the fact. It is this fact that makes the incredibly disciplined and efficient warriors so rare in the field outside of simply guarding the Sith Citadel on Exegol.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

After the Pontifical Palatini were commissioned in 862 ABY at the behest of the Heathen Priests, Darth Solipsis in his guise as the Voice of the Maw molded the elite guardsmen through various experimental methods and brutal training tactics as a testbed for what would be eventual blueprint of the Final Dawn's Sith Sovereign Protectors. With the official creation of the Final Dawn and the gathering of various Sith Cults into one collective body under the Church of the Dark Side, the refined training and indoctrination methods were put to use. It wouldn't be until three years after claiming the title of Dark Lord of the Sith and effectively destroying the Old Sith Order with the rise of the New Sith Order that the project would bear fruit with the emergence of the Sith Sovereign Protectors.

With the official movement of the Brotherhood's capital from over Rhand to the hidden Sith redoubt of Exegol, the Sith Sovereign Protectors were stationed within the Sith Citadel where they protected the Throne of the Sith and stood vigilant while the Dark Lord held court. A detachment of the elite guardsmen were attached to the High Regent of the Final Dawn Derix Tirall and protected the O'reenian Grand Palace that served as the administrative heart of the Final Dawn. Others were deployed to places of high value to the Dark Lord such as Epoch and Coruscant where the interests of Darth Solipsis were protected at all costs.
