SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Interactive Hologram. Ultimate graphical user interface.
  • Optimized for hardened military command-and-control systems.
  • Build-in pyrowall defenses.
  • Obscure code language.
WEAKNESSES
  • Your Computer Has A Most Peculiar Dialect. Limited Universal Data Exchange compatibility.
  • Custom Installation. Not plug-and-play.
  • Power, Hardware, and Computer Requirements. This framework has many dependencies. First and foremost, a compatible holoemitter system. Then, there has to be both a stable and adequate power supply for the computer and holoemitter to be capable of sustained operation and data processing. And interruption in the power supply or in the connection between the holoemitter and the computer will cause the interface to go off-line.
  • The User Vulnerability. No computer defenses can protect if the user disables them or doesn't have them set up correctly.

DESCRIPTION
sithO/S was a multi-motion computer framework coded by Micah tol Powl Micah tol Powl and put into production by Snark Industries for the Sith Order. Optimized for military command and control systems, some functionality was sacrificed for the sake of stronger cyber defense. Multiple pyrowalls coded into the operating system supply a native layer of network security. Critical systems are encoded with quantum computer generated passcodes to protect against slicer intrusion should the network become compromised. Rapid repetition defense protocols scan for open or active ports in order to identify intrusions as early or as quickly as possible. While data transfers made use of the Universal Data Exchange format, the operating system was coded in the Sith language. This gave the protocols a "peculiar accent" and required slicers to have either a knowledge of the Sith language or access to a translation computer in order to slice the system. This also meant that any third-party peripherals, such as targeting computers, droids, or any interfacing system needed to be calibrated and adjusted in order to be made fully sithO/S compatible.

Many older model computers and droids were not capable of running sithO/S, owing to its hardware requirements of modern processing power, memory allocation demands, and file structure.

As an additional safety measure, a non-network accessible BIOS card-chip can restore the operating system kernel on boot if it detects any changes to the core system or structure of the mainframe.
