STRENGTHS:
- Gunslinger: Siv is an excellent marksman, fighter, and brawler. He owns a large number of melee and ranged weapons, and is proficient in many fighting techniques and is n extremely competent blaster-shooter. A wide array of gadgets at Siv's disposal, as well as armor tough enough to resist many different types of attacks, makes him a fearsome and respectable warrior in combat.
- Hunter: Siv has a wide range of different self-preservation tools at hand, experience in the field and a multitude of techniques that all aid him in his primary occupation; that of a bounty hunter and mercenary. Siv has spent nearly his whole life as a fighting Mandalorian, training not only to survive combat but to survive the countless environments he's put in and obstacles that he must go through. As such, Siv is an exceptional problem solver and has a scholar's knowledge of many places, people and planets throughout the galaxy.
- Lone Wolf: Perhaps Siv's greatest weakness, if not is only, is that Siv mentally isolates himself from others. Those that he called family were murdered by the Sith Empire during the purge of Mandalore, and the trauma from that caused him to shun away from any sort of relationship. He is succinct when speaking to others, if he speaks to others, and keeps to himself.
- Traumatized: The murder of his family and clan by the Sith Empire has emotionally shut him down; he does not have much left to go off on, no purpose, no drive, not enough energy to even muster revenge against those who hurt him.
BIOGRAPHY:
Siv Dragr was born into the Mandalorian Clan Dragr, of House Bralor, several decades ago in the little fortress town of Norg Bral on Mandalore. Siv's childhood was rather uneventful for a young one of the Mando'a; like any other, he trained under the elders of his clan from an early age. Unlike many of the clans and houses on Mandalore, Clan Dragr was more old fashioned than their counterparts; they did not believe, necessarily, in the need for a Mandalorian state and instead held onto the old Mandalorian code. As such, as soon as Siv was determined to be ready and of age, he was given a ship, a blaster, and told to travel across the galaxy as a mercenary and bounty hunter to prove that he had the blood of the Mando'a.
Siv did exactly that, traveling the galaxy and taking on whatever job he could find. Staying in mostly the lawless parts of the Galaxy; the uncontrolled Mid Rim, Outer Rim, even parts of Wild Space and the Western Reaches. No job proved to be impossible for the young Mandalorian, and Siv quickly gained experience as a mercenary and fighter. As per his instructions, he specifically stayed out of the conflicts brewing at home, the wars of the Mandalorian Empire against the greater powers of the galaxy. Naively assuming that they were inconsequential, just territorial games played by aristocrats hoping to expand the power and influence of the Mandalorian culture.
Yet when the Sith Empire invaded and razed Mandalore, Siv was completely taken off-guard. He heralded from a small clan, and House Bralor had only about thirty fighting individuals in total. For the first time in his life, the Mandalorian had felt true fear, fear that all of those he held close was dead. Desperate for any sort of news, he raced to Mandalore on his own ship; only to find his home planet in flames. Deep gouges of Sith-Imperial beskar mines had made the surface unrecognizable, and pollution dirtied the atmosphere from the glassed cities, their fractured remains visible from orbit. Siv was not even afforded the ability to land on his home; the navy of the Sith fired on sight, and he was forced to quickly flee back into hyperspace. But the few short seconds that Siv had spent in orbit had been enough to confirm his fears; what had been Norg Bral was now a steaming crater, and with the news coming through the following weeks of the systemic genocide that was being carried out on the Mandalorian people, Siv knew that his people -- his family -- was dead.
Now, Siv Dragr wanders the galaxy, looking for the next job that can buy him enough booze to help him forget his pain for a little while. He is little more than a vagrant, a wandering relic of a historied and proud culture. Where there was once purpose, there is now little or nothing left. Where there was once a proud warrior, now there is nothing more than a Wanderer.
