Technologically Gifted
Force-borne gift of machine understanding and manipulation, and aptitude to repair, build, and design. She seems to have the depth of attention to detail on par with - or possibly surpassing - that of a Verpine.
Highly Intelligent and Perceptive
Not one to have the wool pulled over her eyes, or miss a detail.
Focused
Has amazing focus once she gets going (particularly for technological tasks), but can get fixated to the detriment of all else.
Intellectually Arrogant
Though she is not one to brag, indifference, if not disdain, towards those who are perceived as 'lacking' in their mental faculties may colour her thoughts. However, this arrogance also leads to an unshakable confidence in her own knowledge, which is well-founded, but not so far as to be closed to new developments.
Particular and Reserved
By her Echani upbringing, she sees sparring as the best way to know someone and communicate. Sure, she can use words, but sometimes words don’t convey everything quite so well, in her eyes, and while this doesn't mean she's prone to picking fights, it does usually narrow the field on who can get close to her, beyond any surface level, if not appealing to her by other means.
A Need for Order
She experiences a desire to be in control and seeks perfection in many aspects of her life, and expects others who associate with her to practise a similar degree of order and perfection in their own lives. This doesn't sit well with some individuals, to say the least.

Part I: Foundations
Siyndacha ‘Sindy’ Aerin is the only daughter of her Matriarch’s firstborn, Karolle Aerin, and her decidedly despicable mate, Torr, from House Veneris, born a little earlier than expected due to the beatings that Torr had begun subjecting Karolle to, sometime shortly into their marriage. Karolle died in childbirth from complications due to her injuries; Torr, having fled the retribution of the House, only to be apprehended some months later, was put to an end by Sindy's grandmother. Matriarch Adithi Aerin, after summary judgement by Echani Command.
Found to be Force Sensitive, the young girl was trained largely by her grandfather in the ways of the Force in the early years, and otherwise grew up in the Echani way, while being groomed for the position she would one day take as head of her House. In addition, her seemingly innate mechanical aptitudes were allowed to flourish, with tutelage, to keep her from simply taking things apart.
Upon her investiture as her grandmother's heir at the age of thirteen, she was gifted her mother's songsteel sword; some months later, her grandfather passed in his sleep. After he was laid to rest, Sindy opted to leave Eshan behind to pursue her further academic education and put her Force training on hold, until another worthy master could be found... though in truth, the decision was made not only with an eye to her future as a leader, but in the pain of grief that would still take her some time to overcome. With the inheritance of Marezius' dual lightsabers bound in cloth and stowed deep within her belongings, she left.
Part II: Transition
After completing her education - early, no less - Sindy set about working for a couple of engineering firms, only to find the ambition that had grown as a student clashing with the social limitations brought by the image of her youth and the assumption of inexperience, regardless of her intellect. After a couple of years of frustration at the clear ignorance of her superiors, she parted ways with the suffocating environment of offices and entry level work, and made her way out into the galaxy, finding herself in the midst of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. It was here she met her first attempt at trying out a new master, and her last go at being a Jedi, like her grandfather had taught her to be, as it would turn out. The one saving grace of Manu Xextos , in her mind, was that he was Echani by birth... and after many months of flitting from place to place, as comfortable as she was, elbow deep in the grease of starship engines, a chance meeting with one Marek Starchaser, Foreman of the Techno Union, would pave the way to her future.
Marek was, in a word, a darksider, and her ambivalence about that fact was blissfully short, for when offered the opportunity to be his personal assistant, and the possibility of getting close to so much tech, so many droids in particular, she didn't need time to think it over. This was one of the brighter points of her waning years as a padawan, with the opportunity to see so many tech expos and dive more into what the galaxy's manufacturers had to offer. It was at his side she remained for some time, adding more to her technical knowledge, until someone who stood a chance to offer her more power in line with her ambitions came into play. Darth Carach was smooth in talk, and, as she would later find out, short in elegance, to put it nicely, but nevertheless, the last brutish experience he subjected her to expanded her innate power, gave her a taste for more... and a grudge for what he had done to her.
Part III: Ambition Means Asking for What You Want, and When That Doesn't Work...
...you get persistent. Meeting Caulder Dune was a full realisation that there was, in fact, someone out there who suited her wants and ambitions like a hand to the perfect sparring glove, and she wanted to become his student. The only problem being, he was a hard sell; asking didn't work, and begging was beneath her, but she was persistent. Persistent, that is, to the point of following him into the middle of a jungle just to impress upon him that investing in her was wouldn't be a waste, calculating that any potential risk in effectively stalking the average Sith Lord was evened out by her (correct) perception of Adekos' manner, as he wasn't average at all, and her full confidence in her own worth. This gamble paid off better than she could have thought.
