Another day, another idea for an external force tangoing with the SSC.
This time it's the turn of former One Sith Lord turned Sorceress/Prophet Matsu Xiangu - a very innovative and superb writer. Here is her idea that will allow her to take Matsu on a story arc for her own progression:
I was wondering if you all would be interested in something of a huge skirmish with Matsu and a huge horde of her undead invading and attacking Voss as the first stop of the Pain Train. Think a cross of The Walking Dead and 28 Days Later, so the whole world is going to hell and the zombies can run and are super gross and also spit acid.
Although this is partly about my character and her development, I'm mostly hoping to get the chance to write with a lot of people I've been dying to thread with, AND to give the writers in the Silver Sanctum an opportunity to test themselves and their relationships through a dangerous, large-scale attack on their own soil. Matsu has NO fear for her physical self because harm only makes her stronger, and she'll bring hundreds of Undead of different species which are augmented by her Sorcery to spit nasty, acidic goop so it's pretty gross. Your members would have full control of the majority of the NPC's to write their own stories since they're all largely disposable since I'd like to help with character development and possible massive life events. I would plan on creating obstacles and challenges for those really engaging in their stories as I read through the thread.
I have no specific timeframe for this to be completed by - I would want it to be fun for everyone, relaxed and without pressure to post.
In the end of course, the Sanctum would repel her attack and go on to fight another day! If enough of you are interested I can set up something with some loosy-goosy guidelines and we can have a fun thread. Hopefully no one gets bitten and we don't have to chop off a limb so you survive
She also has a request which I'm sure she'll expand on - someone to smack her in the mouth with a lightsaber to render her mute and disfigured. It's the little things.
SO post here if you're interested, and tomorrow I'll report back to her and then go about getting something set up and an OOC thread for her to inform and update you on the story.
