Skirmish on Ossus

As some may have seen in the thread I posted here, I've been in discussions with Arisa Yune, the Faction Owner of the Silvers, about a possible story line we could write out with them. With the Invasion of the Serenno coming to a close this brief story line will be, hopefully, kicking off tomorrow. (Yes, I know that this isn't a lot of warning, but, with the announcement of the Silver's Invasion of Dromund Kass I and Arisa both agreed that it might be best to start this off before the Invasion does.)

The final agreed upon story line is as follows:

• Rumours of a holocron containing knowledge of a Sith Cult active during the 400 Years of Darkness, one specialising in Assassination, being within the clutches of the Silver Jedi, specifically their space station the Library Monolith, have reached the ears of Darth Lykos, the White Assassin. However, information on the Library Monolith is scarce and it would be unwise to assault the Library with little idea of the defenses that might be encountered. As such, the call has gone out, rousing the Assassins from the rest and asking them to come to arms at the behest of the Council.
• Plans for an assualt upon the Jedi Temple on Ossus have been drawn up and word has been passed on to the Assassins that have answered the call. The intent of the assualt is to recover information on the Library Monolith from the library within the Ossus Temple. Secondary objectives are to cause as much chaos as possible in the process so as to obscure what the focus of the raid was while also striking at those of the Light.
• Once the information on the Library Monolith have been poured over and a plan of attack created, the Assassins will attack the Library Monolith. This time, their intent would be to seize the targeted holocron while, also: sabotaging the Library, recovering any other information from the Black Vault, recovering any other information from the Vaults and striking a blow at the Jedi.

Yes the story line is a bit brief, but, it may grow from here on with the recovery of the holocron along with the other potential idea me and Arisa are discussing which would follow after this. If anything else develops, it'll be announced in a separate newspost.

Tomorrow, the second step will be going live - the Skirmish at Ossus. Currently, the idea is that there will be a plan of attack for getting to the Temple for it is protected by Aegis Base. When a plan is settled on, I will post it in the OOC Forums of this Faction as well as edit this newspost. Same for when the Skirmish goes live tomorrow.

If anyone wants me to tag them in the Skirmish when it goes live, please do leave a quick post bellow saying so. Otherwise, I'm sure that you'd be able to find the Skirmish from links that will be added her and within the OOC Forums of this Faction.

The plan for the attack on Ossus is on the bare bones to keep creativity as free as possible. It is as follows:

• Team A, lead by [member="Krest"], will assault and blow up a spaceport near to the temple while a assault frigate 'liberated' from pirates (maybe piloted by controlled pirates, with the control being courtesy of [member="Darth Ophidia"]) as, at the same time, Team B will be using the Phasma Class Infiltrators to fly beneath the shield covering Aegis Base, as it stops 50m above the ground, at full stealth. Team B's objective is the destruction of the shield generators and communications located atop a mountain plateau.
• From there, Team A will leave to target a Silver official who speaks out against the Galactic Alliance, while posing as Jedi, and try to kill them.
• Team B's job will be to infiltrate the Temple.
  
• And, the most important point of this plan. If something goes wrong, and it surely will: IMPROVISE.
• Final point: Have fun.
