I'm yearning to write a space battle so here goes.
The premise is simple. Above Vjun a derelict fleet of Carriers just came out hyperspace near the system. Seemingly abandoned they contain a small fleet of fighters that are brand new to the galaxy. Fighter with advanced technology. The catch is all the spacers and smugglers flocked to it, but couldn't open the vessels.
Many factions scrambled as the news leaked and now they muster forces to capture and secure the vessels until their technicians can get the vessels free. The wining faction gets a few squadrons of custom fighters, or you can use it as a dev thread for unique fighters for yourselves. Either will work.
Objectives are simple. Wipe out or route the enemy fleet.
