Sky Jacking! (Open)

Somewhere nearing Tython.

She was on a pilgrimage. On board a Starliner headed for Tython to learn from some of the older sword masters there. Except something was very wrong. Without warning her eyes snapped open from her rest. She was in the cargo bay, cross legged on a crate as an explosion rocked the ship, and voice sang out over the PA system.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please standbye as we are experiencing some..... technical difficulties."

"What?"

She stood, clipping on her utility belt and looked around as the vessel continued to rock beneath her feet. Both eyes snapped shut and she expanded her sphere of influence, sensing danger and uncertainty through the force. She pushed harder, until she was rewarded with the visage of black armored troopers thrundering down a hallway.

"Ok ladies and Gentlemen, here's the real deal. I'm down on a debt and this starliner ain't exactly....heh well registered. Anyways some Black Vulkars are about to take over the bridge. By the way there's no refunds, and if you know what's good for you, I'd bail!"

"Well then. This is karked."

She started walking, moving through the the halls as the ship panicked. The explosions must have ben the Vulkhar boarding party. Typical that with so much unrest in the galaxy they were attempting to pick off their smaller debtors.

So far as she walked she saw no one.
They must be all in hiding....

Tython, one of the few places she visited, last time she was on world was around 700 years ago when the First rendition of the first Order was rampaging through the galaxy. Though an avid user of the dark side, Kurenai was not blind to balance in the force and how each side had its uses, she just personally preferred to use the more darker powers as they made it easier to accomplish certain tasks.

Unfortunately she had not gotten around to getting a proper hyper drive installed in her ship, and as such was currently hitching a ride on some star-liner. Kurenai was currently sitting in her room, meditating on past events, when her concentration was rudely interrupted by the sound of explosions and blaster being fired from above, "Just my luck".

She didn't bother listening to the rest of the announcement, all that mattered would be getting off the ship, or killing those that were part of the pirate crew. Knowing full well she was outgunned in a conventional fight she brought her saber hilt to bare, ready to be used at a moments notice. Though alone for the time being it would only be a matter of time until she ran into panicked passengers or pirates.

Kurenai was the first person she stumbled across. Between the subsequent explosions and the panic rife in the air she caught a whiff of dark energy from the armored woman. Her eyes darted to her hands, then her face, taking stock of the situation. She held a hilt, similar to her own. For a second she moved to draw her saber, but stayed her hand as another explosion rocked the ship.

"Whoa!"

She lifted a palm, using the force to root herself to the deck, rather than crash into the wall.

"Excuse me Miss. Who are you? What is going on here?"

Pople ran past Kurenai, some not even bothering to watch where they were going, bumping into and pushing over others in their way, but if the passengers were running one way, it meant the fighting was taking place in the opposite direction. Before the seasoned mercenary could make a move though she sensed a light presence from behind, turning around her blue eye focused on the child woman, no a Jedi. She was wearing typical Jedi robes, and held a saber hilt in hand, either from the fighting up ahead or from Kurenai, thrust be told she was not the most approachable. 'Tython, of course there would be Jedi going there'.

The ship rocked again, forcing Kurenai to brace herself against the wall, before the ship returned to stability, "Who am I child? just a relic of the past, but if you would like to know, my name is Kurenai Yumi, its nice to meet you". She looked briefly at the Jedi, seemingly still on edge, "I would ask you to stay your hand, as I mean you no harm, but I believe that we have company up ahead, but before that who might I ask you are".

Kurenai waited for the Jedi to response before heading down the corridor peaking around the corner to see the fighting, their were several pirates, including the bodies of some passengers.

Cassius had fallen out of the cot in his quarters, wincing as the sudden impact with ground jolted him from his nap. Adrenaline sweeping away the grogginess, he looking out of the viewport to see ships sweeping along the starliner, taking pock shots at the hull. There were also small transports that were attached to the docking ports, no doubt in order to board the ship. “Great,” Cassius muttered to himself, grabbing his belt and small bag.

This was why Cassius liked to fly himself places. His A-wing had to undergo repairs, and the U-wing he’d flown on the mission to Deneba still needed new engine parts. It was such a short trip from Commenor to Tython, why not just take public transport? What a stupid idea. The CSA Government had fronted the money for the trip, but still… this was no way to travel.

The door to the corridor hissed open, and immediately Cassius was met with two blaster rifles pointed at him. Harsh tones told him to keep his hands up, and come out of the quarters slowly. Cassius put his hands up, sure, but it wasn’t to surrender. Instead, a wave of Force energy hit the two henchmen, sending them stumbling back. Not slamming into the wall, but enough to keep them occupied while Cassius reached for his lightsaber. With a single stroke, both of the henchmen were down for the count.

Down the hallway, four more men saw Cassius, and began rapid-firing blaster bolts down range at him. Blocking a few, Cassius backed up before he could put enough distance between him and the ground, and started to sprint away. There had to be a way off of the ship…

"I'm Karren Trask, Jedi Sentinel."

That was all she had time to offer the woman as the fighting intensified. she had no doubt she was innocent in all this, but kept a wary eye on her. From around the corner the sounds of a lightsaber rang out, making her hairs stand on end. who could this be? A Sith Marauder? Another Jedi?

She stalked the wall, keeping close with one hand on her hilt, brown robes flowing behind her. Then she rounded it.

At first there was ten of them, then two more rounded the corner. Her seasoned eyes divided them up into priority. Two with heavy repeaters, one with a grenade launcher, and the rest rifles. Disruptor rifles.

"Drop your weapons and surrender!" She called out boldly.

"It's a Jedi!"

"Osik, you two, get her!" One of them roared. He pointed his black armored index finger her way and she grimaced. violence was a last resort of hers. Her mind struggled to find a solution that did not involve whipping out her saber to dispatch the two.

"Last chance. Drop em!"

But it was no use. Blaster bolts began to erupt and her lightsaber flashed to life, brilliant emerald blade weaving a figure eight to repel two bolts into the bulkhead. They shattered steel, sending shards and acrid smoke spiralling into the hallway. The blade snapped behind her and her palm extended. The force rose up inside her and ripped the repeater from the first man's grasp.

Then she pushed, blasting a wall of air into their ranks. They staggered and stumbled, some dropping their weapons as their bodies impacted the bulkheads with sickening force.
"Shoot her with the Grenades!"

"Crap! A little help here?"

The push had been impressive, but left her drained. Her force tank was about to be on empty for a while....

She gave a slight nod to [member="Karren Trask"] as she introduced herself, while still looking around the corner at the approaching pirates, but was drawn to the sound of a light saber being used not to far away, 'A Sith marauder perhaps, I haven't had a fight for a while". Before she could make any judgment on how to preceded the Karren walked into the hall way, directly in view of the pirates present.

She had wanted to use traditional methods to take down the pirates, stealth and CQC, but it seemed the Jedi was trying her own method, though it didn't seem to be going well. Though her skill with a blade was fluid and refined but her force powers were lacking, perhaps that would be something Kurenai would be able to help with.

"Next time try being more stealthy", she rushed forwards head of Karren just as the pirate launched the grenade, pushing out with the force Kurenai pushed it to the side and behind as it detonated, not slowing her down in the slightest. Getting withing arms distance one of the pirates panicked and threw a fist easily being dodged by the seasoned solider, dropping to one knee and placing the hilt of her saber near his chest. Flicking a switch the hilt extended in the blink of the eye, forming a baton and ramming into said pirates stomach, making his double over in pain.

Kurenai rose to her feet, the entire act happening in only a few seconds, and proceeded to activate her own saber, the blood red blade casting an osmosis look, "She said put your weapons down, though I will gladly oblige to your deaths if that is what you want". She now took an offensive stance with the saber pike, ready to lethally take down any opnent stupid enough to raise their weapon.

As he ran down the corridor, he could hear another explosion, but it wasn’t a laser cannon blast from outside. It sounded like… a grenade? Who in their right mind would use a grenade on a cheaply-made starliner like this? Someone could cause a hull breach with something like that! Cassius picked up his pace, hoping that he could stop the ship from being destroyed, or at the very least stop whoever was chucking grenades around.

Just as he rounded another corner, he saw a whole group of the thugs – they were between him and two more people on the other side. One of them was obviously a Jedi, from the way she dressed and the lightsaber she had. The other had some kind of lightsaber pike, red in color. Bad guys used red, right?

Whoever they were, they had done a number on the pirates, as some of them were on the floor, and others had dropped their blasters. Taking advantage of the situation, Cassius made an exaggerated motion with his hand, using the Force to pull the weapons that were lying on the floor out of arms reach of those that had dropped them. Surprised by the move, few men that were standing and still had their weapons now had lightsaber-wielding Force users on either side of them.

“You should take her advice,” Cassius said, his face stern as he pointed his lightsaber at the remaining men. Without much of a choice, the men dropped their blasters and placed their hands up.

“These guys should have a ship they boarded with,” Cassius called over to the two women on the other side. “It’s probably in better shape than this one, at this point.” Just as he said that, as if to accentuate his point, another small laser blast shook the hull.

"Nice work guys."

The red saber set her one edge, but she maintained her composure. The emerald buzzing blade remained behind her back with her hands outstretched. The weapons were gone and now she had no need to harm these folks. Though she flirted with the temptation of sending them against their own, she quickly suppressed that.

There were bigger things at stake here, and she was no darksider.

"Though I think you might be a bad influence on me." she shot, piercing Kurenai with a stern gaze.

Her saber came to the fore and angled point to the deck still buzzing.

"Get lost, and for good."

The Black Vulkhars tripped and scrambled over themselves to do just that. A few ran into the bulkheads in terror, and others fled down random halls.

Then she whirled to confront the new guy. He was much lighter then her current partner in crime. He wanted to flee though, which didn't sit well in her gut.

"No."

She shook her head pausing.

"No, we can't run. These people are terrified. These thugs are taking over the ship.I mean they might even have the bridge and Force knows what they intend for these people. No we have a responsibility to set this right. We gotta take control of this ship first and land it. Then we can deal with the assailants, or you get your choice and flee."

She paused again, running through possiblities in her mind. She calculated possible outcomes, risks and end states.

"No I've made my mind up. I'm saving these folks. Are you with me or are you folks going to run?"

It was a tall order. She could tell she was rubbing Kurenai in an awkward way. But the disposition of the other left room for a successful persuasion. She reinforced her voice with the currents of the force, attempting to sway them to her side.

"Join me."

Before she could inflict any serious damage to the grunts another force user came from behind, the colour of their light-saber and much light signature betraying him as a Jedi too. Surrounded by force users, one willing to kill them at the slightest provocation, it was no surprised that they all surrendered, the stunt Kurenai pulled a few second ago showing that the group wouldn't even stand a chance against one of them.

"If you are to become a proper Jedi child you will have to deal with dark temptation often, lest you fall to the dark side, though I do not see what I've done to influence you in a bad way...... yet". Perhaps her mere presence and dark aura put the girl on edge. She looked on in slight amusement as the pirates ran away in fear, though such an act of mercy would undoubtedly come back to bite them later on, since they would no longer have the act of surprise.

She listened to the boy, he seemed to be more out for himself then civilians, perhaps that's why his force signature was more grey then light, but still, running away from a fight that you could easily win was cowardly. "........ I never run from a fight, I dueled a master of Ren, and lived, a army of pirates is child's play, no offense to both of you".

She looked more intently at Karren as she put more poise and though into her last words, "You have a strong will Trask, in my view that is the most potent weapon at your disposal, I have no doubt you'd become a powerful Jedi one day, though you have much to learn still". She collapsed her saber pike returning it into a single handed blade before pulling out her pistol at the ready for their next engagement.

"Are you coming boy? or will you run?"

Many years had passed in those cold expanses of space, the Astromech Droid DD2-R8 not having seen any ships... Or anything at all for that matter. Its lens had frosted up bad, yet that didn't stop something peculiar waking it from standby mode; A Star Liner under attack! It was a boarding mission, with unknown perpetrators.

DD2 Did not care which side they were on, as soon as everything was recalibrated those old rocket boosters sparked to life, sending it careering towards the entry breach, the mission had begun to be as great as that rumored R2D2 droid from times back.

The entry was less than grateful as it was being way too risky with its flight pattern. A loud "WIAAAAW" Followed by a clang of metal hitting a wall told enough of a story as to what happened. It also alerted a trooper that had held back, of which seemed initially surprised to see the droid, just long enough for the Astromech to beep out in pleas.

"*I'm just maintenance don't blast me!*"

Unfortunately, this plea went non-understood, the enemy raising their weapon to take shots at DD2. Surely this was the end for its short adventure right? Wrong, a plate slid open on the droid's dome quickly, to reveal a blaster pistol that wasted no time in exterminating the foe with accurate shots.

"*I warned you!*"

R8 shook its head left to right in disappointment, then proceeded to roll on in, causing panic in the rear lines by firing numerous energy blasts in random directions.

Lower on deck of the liner a small group of three pirates had been sacking the Star Liner most passengers in panic giving what they wanted when they came across a locked door they shot the outer-door lock and the door slid open to the dark room, two of the three began to walk in spotted a small red lazer line in the door way as he was about to say look out the first had already crossed it,the thermal detonator going off killing both pirates and sending the third into the hallway wall.

Out from the door way stepped out a Blitz with his 24 inch Beskar Mandelorian blade unsheathed from underneath his lower left robotic arm the pirate reached for his blaster but Blitz stabbed through the pirates hand with his blade pinning it to the floor.

"Mate...you and your lot just did the worst thing possible, you woke me up."

He would rip the blade up the pirates arm and past the collar bone tearing through his neck splattering the odd colored blood onto the wall,Blitz listens to the gurgling sound of death the creature made as it quickly bled out.

His under arm blade re-sheathed back into its in made sheath under the prosthetic arm he would unsling his 500 Riot gun and set i to fully auto as he began to make his way to upper levels of the ship.

Hallway

She nodded to Kurneai. And then she relaxed a bit, letting her grip on the lightsaber loosen by a bit.

"I appreciate that. And the support."

Her eyes roved the dead bodies. A few of them had inevitably been killed, and she could feel more souls departing for the force further into vessel. There was still a palpable pall of panic and angst in the air. The entire situation set her on edge. Despite a few years of training with the Silver Jedi this was her first real battle, and the sight of corpse unsettled her stomach.

"So then we agree to take the ship back?"

Her mind began to race as her eyes worked over the hallways. Most Star liners were built the same. Civilian craft not built for combat or to military specifications, which meant the bridge was due to the fore. She reckoned they were about center of the vessel, three decks down. They needed a turbolift.

"We have to find a way to the bridge. That's the most sensitive part. After that we can clear the ship deck by deck section by sec-"

BOOM!

A rattle and wheeze escaped the air systems and she felt an increased gravity. The lights went out, the drives died and they were in space, in the dark. Life support fast fading.

"I believe we are falling into orbit. Powers gone."

The only thing illuminating them now was the eerie glow of her emerald lightsaber.

Cassius felt slightly sheepish – yes, it would have seemed that he wanted to just run away, but that wasn’t the case. The woman Jedi was certainly the stalwart of the Jedi way, with a firm stance in the light side of the Force. Perhaps she had been raised by the Jedi, or at the least had spent some very formative years with them. Cassius, on the other hand, thought in a different way. He also couldn’t help but roll his eyes at the woman who insisted on calling the two of them ‘child’ and 'boy’.

“I think you misunderstand,” he tried to explain calmly. “The boarding ship can act as a lifeboat, assuming they disabled the escape pods,” he said. It was a common pirate tactic, indicative of the more brutal ones – leave no witnesses. Evacuation seemed like a more viable option to him, but the others seemed adamant to taking the ship back. “Also, there’s the fact that they’re still hammering the ship, and the other ship would have laser cannons…”

Just as he said this, the lights went off, the only light being from the woman’s green lightsaber. The temperature started to drop – life support was fading. Cassius ignited his own blue lightsaber for additional illumination. Sighing, he said, “You guys are going to need a pilot. Luckily, I know a fairly decent one.”

Knowing that they didn’t have much time left, Cassius started at a jog towards the front of the ship where the bridge would be. The engines and gravity control seemed to be failing as well, since when the ship started to dip towards the planet they had been orbiting, Cassius had to adjust his run to compensate. If the ship kept this up, they’d be falling down the corridor soon enough.

“Idiots are going to blow up the ship before they can take anything!” Cassius said. It wasn’t typical pirates to completely destroy a vessel before raiding it… unless they weren’t pilots. What was so important about a starliner that it warranted blowing it out of the sky, though, along with sending in a boarding party? Maybe Cassius was wrong, but something just didn’t feel right about all of this.

She gave a slight nod to Karren, "When you get to my age you learn quite a bit", she could feel the uneasiness of the young padawan, killing and dead bodies was not something you got use to, just desensitized. "We can do both, if that is what you want". the 'BOY', seemed just as stead fast in his own ways, but if the message the captain sent out about owing them money, it could probably be deduced that this was not a proper raid, more of a revenge attack with little coordination.

Before either in the group could speak the ship took a critical hit, everything going dark, the craft starting to list a bit as the planets below gravity started to take effect. Kurenai ignited her saber again along with the others, red, green and blue, creating a rainbow of illumination. "....... as do I, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and let you fly". The sound of metal groaning echoed in the halls as the group followed the boy, the slope of the hallways getting steeper bit by bit as the ship started to take a dive towards the planet.

".... I've survived multiple ship crashes, this might be number 75 if memory serves me correctly", the hall ways seemed to be devoid of life as the trio continued to run towards the boarding ship. All the while Kurenai kept an eye on Karren, perhaps it was just habit but the season merc wanted to keep her safe, maybe she'd just been away from her family for too long.

The Astromech was beginning to make some progress when a large explosion rattled the ship. Brakes were soon to apply as the ship began to tilt but the situation could end up vertical at this rate!

"*Danger*" It frantically cried out in binary, looking around with the searchlight embedded in its dome for a nearby control panel to link into.

All ships had emergency power, this was no exception and DD2 was quick to exploit this. But it was no battleship with an extensive back-up. The most it could do was reactivate the life support and gravity systems for one hour at estimate. There was not enough juice to sustain the thrusters and lights were a waste of energy.

Something showed up on life signs, three signatures close together and running, and a lone signature making way up the levels. For the mercenary, a lift would be opened and activated to the higher levels.

"*Wait for me!*" DD2 beeped loudly, pushing past anyone to get to the group of presumed friendlies in hope that they would see it as more than an imperial droid.

Blitz had gotten himself a free lift which he would quickly jump onto readying himself for what ever is next.

Then he got an idea he quickly ran to one of the ransacked rooms still full of people.

"Alright I've been informed escape pods are now ready for you and your family's!"

Of course he was lying but enough people bought it as he stood at the back of the elevator with his weapon drawn a small pack of people in the lift in front of him.

'At least i have some covering to take some shots for me before those pirates can get to me,they'll have to cut through my wall civilians.' He thought this to himself

He chuckled a little bit at the thought but had his weapon ready.

The elevator went to the upper deck where sure enough a small group of pirates were as the door's open one yelled.

'FIRE!'
And the civilians in front of blitz began dropping like fly's as soon as he got in opening in the little wall of death he unloaded into the three pirates firing fully auto mowing them down quickly.

He looked down to see one civilian gasping for air he simply aimed his barrel down and offed the dying civilian with a simple pull of his trigger.

He stepped out into the hallway and began making way to the group of life forms on his mini map on his inner HUD,weather they were friendly or not he better be careful.

As for the massacre of civilians he felt nothing for them anyone with a small mini map or a strong force would feel many live being lost or simply dots dissapearing off a radar.

[member="Cassius Droma"] [member="Kurenai Yumi"] [member="Astromech DD2-R8"] [member="TheNewUpgrade"]

Luckily just as gravity went out she had the force as her ally. Though her reserves of focus were fast draining. She felt even more souls slip into the force, crying out in agony as they perished. someone on board was massacring folks in a big herd. For a second she skidded to a halt, fixing the air with a stern look.

Her jaw tightened and she was torn between the desire to save them, or to serve the bigger picture.

The force gave her the answer she needed. She couldn't serve the bigger picture if she was ascended and gone. Not in the capacity she was called to do so.

"Alright then. We cross over to the other ship. Now that everything slagged these people will have no chance. I'll cross with Cassius and take the vessel. Kurenai can you hold the airlock open long enough to get as many folks out as we can?"

Then the droid came ripping down the hallway and she smiled. The sight was comical. With her off hand she patted the droid.

"Hey little buddy! I got a job for ya."

She recognized the model. Standard, Astromech. Which meant the little guy had a wealth of capabilities far beyond what she had imagined she'd have on hand at this moment.

"I need you to hack the ship. Get me the security tapes, inside and out as well as the flight log and all information you can get. Can ya do that for me?"

She looked to Cassius, blade still angled to the deck, emerald glow mixing with the Crimson and Sapphire of their blades. Her jaw tightened again. She knew this would be another difficult test. More killing, more death. The Pirates would be disarmed in some cases, but most likely they'd fight to the last man to keep their boarding craft and bug out.

That was not an acceptable option.
Is this really worth it?

Gravity came back online, and the temperature ceased dropping. Cassius wasn’t exactly sure what the cause of it was, but he was thankful for it, nonetheless. At least they could escape the ship without freezing to death. They’d probably be blasted first, honestly.

Cassius nodded as Karren changed their course of action. Escaping to the pirate’s boarding vessel and giving them a taste of their own medicine would give them a higher chance of survival than trying to land the starliner, which honestly had a big chance of burning up in the atmosphere at this point. They still had time to get over there… they just needed to hurry.

He moved over to a viewport to look outside to see if he could view the pirate’s vessel from here. He just barely could – it was a Hyrotii Splint, a typical pirate boarding ship. It had just enough room for a boarding party, and airlocks to snap to a ship’s hull. In all honesty, Cassius felt like many pirates used the design as it had that dangerous look about it. Regardless, he knew how to fly one – he could get them out of there.

“It’s a Splint-class,” Cassius said. “She’s fast, but we’ll have to be quick to detach as soon as we’re able. The mothership won’t be too happy with us taking one of their own.”

Just as it was decided who would be doing what, an astromech droid came careening down the hallway. Karren talked to it, telling the droid to hack the ship and take as much data as they could. It was a decent idea – the pilot who hadn’t paid his debts was maybe worth looking into later, but Cassius’s mind was focused on survival right now.

“There should be a terminal near the airlock that he can plug into,” Cassius said. “Right now, we should move.”

He gave the Jedi woman a curt nod as she looked at him, reaffirming his commitment to getting them off of the ship - alive. Cassius didn’t even know her name, but he knew that they were both Jedi, and as such, shared a bond. They would get through this. He knew that much.

“I can only wait but so long before the pirates realize what’s going on and try to blast the boarding ship too,” Cassius said to Kurenai. “If we start taking heavy damage, I can try to detach and move to the other side of the starliner to give us cover, but it’ll be temporary.”

With that, he started to sprint in the other direction, his lightsaber humming as it swung back and forth with his stride. The airlock wasn’t too far, and neither were the pirates guarding it, four in total. As soon as they saw the two Jedi and the droid, they opened fire. Cassius began to spin his lightsaber in wide arcs in order to deflect the bolts coming his way, making sure to stand in front of the astromech so it wouldn’t be hit.

[member="Karren Trask"] | [member="Kurenai Yumi"] | [member="Astromech DD2-R8"] | [member="TheNewUpgrade"]

Karren seemed to be in conflict with how to proceeded, though trying to save every one was a Jedi teaching and what not there was no point in trying to save everyone if it meant you'd just die in the process. Kurenai was about to offer some personal advice but it seemed the young Jedi was able to come to a compromise. "Fight a delaying action against any returning pirates while you two secure the ship, sounds reasonable enough".

She kept an ear out for what the male Jedi was saying, even if things did go to plan the other pirates would catch on quickly, the entire operation had a very tight time restraint. Though concentrating on the plan her mind still wandered, the feeling of people dying in droves, there force signatures dissipating, and not to far away, it would seem her job to hold the air lock would start sooner then expected.

Her attention was brought back to the presence by the astromech droid, and the following plan, personally she did not care what the pilot did to warrant a pirate attack, but if the Jedi wanted it so be it. "Do not worry about me boy, I can handle my self easily, if this get to hot don't bother coming back, I'll find another way off", she replied to Droma. "Like I said, this might end up being my 75 ship crash".

Upon coming around the corner the now group of 4 came into contact with some pirates guarding the boarding ship, who promptly opened fire. While the two Jedi deflected the blaster bolts Kurnai reached over her shoulder and proceed to pull out a Light Machine Slug Thrower, taking careful aim and peppering the pirates with a hail of deadly bullets, killing them within a few seconds.

"Give me a shout once the ship is secured, though I am not sure if there will be any survivors joining us", It was a bleak statement but the recent loss of life and the fact the pirates would be closing in on there position reduced the chance any civilians would be able to make it out alive. While Karren and the Other Jedi made headway in the boarding ship Kurenai used the force to set up some crates and rubble as cover, preparing herself for any incoming pirates.
