What would be a better thing to do on Crystalsong than visiting the most powerful cities? Well, to be honest, Markhareim City, the Ulki capital, was definitely not beautiful. There was fighting, morally terrible actions, sex... on the streets. It was, indeed, a strange city. The Supreme King of Ulki didn't wander around the place a lot; he stayed in his own castle and when needed, looked down at the city from his balcony. He heard news from his advisors and he didn't feel the need to go out to the city.

Yet he should have.

Maria Zambrano, a female member and matriarch of the Zambrano family, also the Witch of Arx Mortis, had come to the primitive city to see what is going on. She had an idea of how to gain more influence on the planet. Yet she didn't know what kind of horribleness awaited her.

Once when she had reached the city, terrible fighting had started. The reason why it started was actually simple and pointless, yet Ulki were too aggressive and stupid to understand it.

While walking around the streets, one thing was noticed by Maria. A slave market had come to the city. Strange... she thought. She had never heard of any slave markets coming to the planet. Yet now one of this stood in front of her.

Immediately, she started thinking about whether she needs new slaves or not. But after hearing how terribly these slaves have been kept before - they had lived with the bare minimum food, they were forcefully separated from their families, they were tortured - she understood she doesn't allow such thing to take place on a planet she wants to control.

Wearing her typical clothing of a black dress and nothing else, she was not very fit for fighting.

But she had to.

These slaves had to be saved.

No...

...matter...

...what.

Alexandra rubbed her head as she sat there and looked around before finding a frown crawl over her face. Originally the plan had been that a man would help her sneak into the slave trade and take out its ringleaders as they showed themselves... now though, the situation was very different. A collar that seemed to use some kind of anti force tech resided around her neck, cutting her off from the force, as an extra precaution she knew the cage she was in was lined with the things. Her sabers had need taken as well as her armor and her hands bound behind her as she sat on her knees, her clothes were replaced with that of a slaves and her hair loose and a mess. She had been double crossed and now she was no longer stopping this but rather finding herself unable to do much of anything aside from sitting there like an animal and she made sure one thing ran through her mind as she watched the man. He was going to pay.

He wasn't worried though, he had his prey trapped, even wore a ysalmiri in case she did escape. Her sabers were sealed in a case that was something akin to a trophy case though only one thing of transparasteel covered it, the rest was durasteel. And he made sure she was advertised as "Alexandra, the slave that deserted the Sith and paid." Oh how he would die if she got free.

(Decided to make my part in this a bit different, same goal just fell for a trap. [member="Maria Zambrano"])

Looking at all the slaves which had been brought to the planet, Maria tried to find a way to help them all out. Maybe there were some more guards overseeing the slave market just waiting for people like her - the ones, who try to protect civil rights. That's why it would have been very unlikely for Maria to be able to save all of the slaves.

Just looking around, reading the advertisements, she saw many interesting figures, yet one of them caught Natalja's attention. It was the only Force-sensitive slave who was advertised as the person who deserted the Sith. Well, yeah, and paid for it.

"Hey, slaver! Would it be possible to buy some of these slaves for myself?" Maria asked, trying to sound like a typical customer: a bit friendly, a bit cruel. But she had a plan.

Alexandra glanced up as the human slaver grinned at the words and looked over his own lot, though it was clear that it was her that he focused on most and advertised as he spoke. "Oh, yes yes, this one is a real great catch. She was a Sith once, and I caught her just a while back on the run and oh how it was a pleasure. I even picked up her light swords off her after i shot her down, stun only of course, as you can see there are no major markings on her body." He grinned and pulled out the said lightsabers before turning them over in his hands and showing [member="Maria Zambrano"] with a certain glee. He missed Alexandra's hands moving against the bonds though, testing them though the ysalmiri left her with no way of doing anything to him.

"Oh, yes, it looks like this one would be perfect for me," Maria spoke. She then looked at the lightsabres and nodded. She knew she had to release her and everybody else, too. But first, her.

"How much would it be? And do I also get to have her lightsabres or do you keep them to yourself?" she continued, hoping that the slaver gives her the lightsabres so that after she released the ex-Sith, she could give them to her. Maybe they could work together to release everybody and arrest the slaver?

There were no additional guards anywhere, only three people with weapons walking around the slave market stall. What are they thinking? Did they really think nobody would want to stand against the slaver?

"She is a high risk individual... and you seem interested in the sabers too... ten thousand credits and not a single credit less." He knew he was ripping her off and Alexandra continued to work her bonds until she got one hand out. It hurt though, the bonds having scrapped up her hand as she had worked to get it out of them and soon she got the second one out, she was careful to hole onto the bonds though. Next she needed her sabers, but without the force there was no way she could get to them, leaving Alexandra a pretty useless individual for now, waiting for the woman to either pay or not too. "It is... a lot, to be honest," Maria spoke, clearly a bit surprised by that. She had thought the slaver is a bit cheaper. Maybe she could use a Mind Trick on him? Well, she would have if she would have known how to do that. "I will take her, though." Then Maria handed some credit chips to the man. They were worth a total of ten thousand credits and not a single credit less.

"Now, would you please hand me the lightsabre before you release her?" she continued. Even thought she would have still handed the sabres to the woman the first thing when she is released and Maria gets the sabres, she thought it would be more logical for her to ask for the weapons before the slave is released. Just because.

He nodded and handed over the sabers before turning to his guards and nodding to them, letting them level their rifles though as the door opened to the cage. Though before Alexandra could make a break for it the collar at her neck sent a torrent of electricity through her body as the man pressed on of the buttons on it than gave it to [member="Maria Zambrano"]. "Watch out, she can be a handful if you cant keep her in her place, that collar should work fine on the slave, isn't that right miss?" He looked at Alexandra who lay there glaring at him in return and waiting to try and run again as she remained still.

"Interesting. Thank you!" was all Maria said. She only looked at the ex-Sith slave and didn't move from her place. "By the way, how much does a typical slave cost in your market?" She was sure the current moment was not right for freeing the slaves, so she had to wait a bit longer. The slave had to wait a bit longer. She would be free son, though, that's what Maria would have wanted to tell her.

Then she turned towards the slaver, hoping for an answer. She thought whether she should really fight against the slaver or maybe she should just buy them all free. Even though not having billions of credits, she knew she should be able to free all of the slaves who are presented in the market.
