Slavery, Spice And Everything Nice.

Kessel, the Spice Planet. Dusk and dirt flew through the air, wind howled through the old mines. This planet once flourished with Cadan's Spice mines. Since the collapse of the Hutt Cartel his mines were taken over by bandits, raiders and all sorts of aspiring crime lords.

Cadan and a small select group of his crew had landed at his main spice mine. Slowly his crew moved through the building killing those who occupied it. Now Cadan was in the main office, his DL-18 pointed at the leader of the group. "Ain't no room for the two of us mate." Cadan squeezed the trigger, spraying the man all over the dusk cover window.

Cadan jumped back onto a swivelling chair and kicked his feet up on the desk, knocking over various cups and datapads that littered it. The office was quite large, it had a small desk where Cadan was sitting towards the back and a large table in the middle surrounded by chairs.

"Aye Sareen, I got us, me mine back. Meet me 'ere and we can begin our ring." Cadan sent his co-ordinates to Sareen. Now his crew set about cleaning up the bodies and pre-paring it for Sareen's arrival.

"I want one of yous at the landin' pad for when old mate Sareen arrives." Cadan spoke over his comms addressing his crew. Now he waited, swinging around on the chair, a bag of spice in his hand.

Sareen's Lambda transport slowly flew threw the Kessel atmosphere, the low air content making it an easy glide over the planet. The Trandoshan let the auto-pilot take him down, he wasn't all too good of a pilot and didn't particularly enjoy flying anyways. The landing pad soon came into view and slowly grew as the ship came closer and closer to the ground. As the craft hovered above the landing pad it's landing gear extended and set down on the planet surface.

The landing ramp of the shuttle opened and the armored form of a middle aged Trandoshan came walking down. Sareen hissed when he saw the pirates, associates of an old friend and future business partner [member="Cadan Tazi"], "I asssume you are here to bring me to Tazi?" One of the pirates nodded and the party headed over to Tazi's office. The pirates stopped outside and let him walk in, Sareen took off the helmet and opened his arms wide, laughing in a scratchy voice, "Ah, Tazi! My old friend, ssso are we ready to begin our new, busssinesss venture?"

" 'Ello there Sareen!" Cadan said as he welcome Sareen with open arms. " 'Ere 'ave a drink then we'll get to discussing business." Cadan began rumaging through the desk before producing some cups and a bottle of rum. "Ah ha! Can never go wrong with rum aye." He poured a glass and slid it to Sareen.

"So down to bussiness. As ya can see, I've already gotten meself a mine, from 'ere we can begin to claim more lands and mines. I know of a small fortress a few clicks from 'ere. I'm thinkin' we take it down and use it as a small headquaters for us?" Cadan drained the cup from rum and began to pour another and swirl the drink around the cup.

Sareen downed the glass the same as Cadan, although alcohol had little effect on Trandoshans, he mainly did it out of courtesy of his friend's generosity. He turned the glass upside down and slammed it on the desk, using enough force to make a sound but not enough to break it. The slaver listened to the proposition of his old cartel associate, nodding along, "That fortresss will make do, until we expand to larger areasss."

The Trandoshan looked at the door he came in through and back at [member="Cadan Tazi"], "The question isss, how many men do you have Tazi?"

"Sareen, you silly lizard man." Cadan said as he played with a small bag of spice, rolling it around in his hands. Occasionally opening the bag and rubbing the spice around his mouth, letting it numb his mouth.

"You see I've got a few men with me and a secret weapon that I always hide up my sleve. It was at this moment that Cadan pull his comm link up to his mouth and began to speak into it. "Mythos, I avoided endin' up in the slammer, and got a job for you. Come meet me." Cadan then sent his co-ordinates to the person he spoke to over the comms.

"Now this man, 'e's a friend and a very good killer. I wouldn't say as good as me, but 'e does alright."

The day Mythos met Cadan he was given a comlink, to this day it was the only way the two communicated and the last time that communicator buzzed Mythos was an acolyte, it had rained quite a lot since that time. The communicator was in storage, a few feet from his bed on the white plains in Midvinter and when it went off the light of the hologram reached the closed eyelids of Mythos as he slept with two Valkyr women almost twice his size. Groggily he made his way out of bed, nearly stumbling on a hardwood chair from Ankyhpt. When Mythos stood in his room, looking at what was causing the noise it took him sometime to realize what was going on, who was calling him and when he did the smile did not wipe away from his face all day. It was Cadan, he was back in business and Mythos could not be more enthusiastic about it.

"You better have those Pod Parts i asked for, I'm on my way" But he wasn't coming alone. Mythos had grown as a fighter, as a warrior and as a commander and thinker since they last met, and this time Mythos walked with a select few warriors called the Jar'Kai. Force wielding, lightsaber fighting assassins that he himself personally trained to kill other force users. Mythos would have broke Cadan out of prison if he had known about it but truth be told Mythos had no idea of Cadan even being alive, the criminal mastermind was elusive and covered his tracks as any good spice dealer did... even a former Sith Assassin like Mythos would have a hard time tracking him down, even getting reliable sources to talk about him would be a hassle.

Mythos prepared his gear, rifles, pistols, lightsabers, axe and the lot as well as five of his best men including the good capitan Lee himself and boarded a small freighter class ship he had bought and stationed, set coordinates and prepped hyperdrive. "Where in the blazes are we going Animus? I was having a wonderful cup of tea and, for once, it wasn't that cold" Asked Captain Lee, suspicious at the intentions of this late night trip.

"I won't be the one briefing you Lee, suffice it to say we have people that need to stop breathing... and as the regional oxygen experts on call we aim to serve"

Sareen closed his eyes and nodded, "If thisss Mythosss isss a friend of yoursss, he isss a friend of mine. I trussst he will do hisss job good." Sareen took out his revolver and spinned it over his clawed finger and holstered it. A little trick he had learned throughout years in the hunting profession. The sooner this would end, the sooner he would begin his slave trade, and once again he would wield the power he so relished from his days with the Cartel. A thought passed through his mind, "Cadan, we cannot kill all thossse inssside the fort. If thisss isss going to be a joint operation, I need my own ssstarting hand."

A breif buzz of excitement flowed through Cadan as he realized Mythos was on his way, it had been quite a while since he had last saw him and it would be good to catch up over a bag of spice and some grog. This were finally starting to get going.

"I know my friend, if you 'ave anyone to call in tell 'im theres good pay for them!" Cadan began to go over some datapads over his desk before he pulled out out from the pile. "See this, this is the fort that we gonna take." Cada slid the pad over to Sareen. The fort itself was a fully enclosed with thick walls, it was in the shape of a triangle and at each point was a watch towers with spot lights and 50. cal machine guns. "As you can see, she's gonna be a tough nut to crack." He said as he too pulled out his DL-18. Just talking about the slaughter to come was getting him excited...

The lights of hyperspeed were becoming routine, Mythos needed more assets for the kind of travel he did. Luckily he still had friends in damp places. On to another kill, Mythos saw the lights of the holocomunicator in his ship on route to destination, the fortress had to have at least a few hundred good men defending it and was well supplied to last few weeks for reinforcements. An open charge would be detrimental, too many men lost in a forward assault and Mythos only brought a handful for the fight, yet they were well armed. Mythos was about to test a new weapon, a battle rifle design he had commissioned for mass production, The Sp-17 battle rifle modified for special operation combat.

Mythos examined the fortress and its defenses, noticing the three machinegun nests equipped with spotlights. The issue would be to take each nest, them being the key to the conquest of the fort. It would, take a delicate hand. "We will take the three towers, on my signal you scale the three walls and surround the fortress... over that wall everyone is a target Cadan." Mythos said somberly as the hyperspace lights ended abruptly.

They entered the orbit of the planet and Kessel awaited them, Mythos would bring back a souvenir or two in any way and he made a mental note of it. He had heard of the planet only sparely, in a negative manner every time so he knew he was in dark waters coming here. Lee observed all the time, making his calculations upon the entry as well as the three other warriors, one from each division in the jar'kai, the best of each branch.

"We will take it in nightfall and make our way to the towers, take them as you begin climbing the walls and hit the fortress from every side at the same time. We will turn their guns against them" Mythos finished with a smile, watching the darkness of nightfall slowly engulfing the planet like a titanic sheet of blackness. It would be a bloody morning the next day in Kessel.
