Slaves For Everyone!

Nemene was practically giddy with excitement right now, her skin was crawling with goosebumps and her eyes were alight with joy as she waited on the landing platform. She was dressed in fine blue silks, matching those of her sister Evelynn who stood besides her. On her back was a single blade, the Sith Sword her father had crafted for her. Her lightsaber was noticeably absent, though with all the guards surrounding the two Queens such a thing would hardly be necessary.

In truth, the guards weren't necessary either. They were here to negotiate peace of course, more than peace in fact, they were here to negotiate trade, alliance, and everything else one could wish for between two worlds.

They had done the same with two other worlds as of late, two planets that had formed bountiful relations for Rattatak. This time however it would be even better. The Planet of Endelaan was perhaps one of the most significant exporter of Slaves in the entire galaxy, and Rattatak was perhaps the largest importer of slaves, the two were a match made in heaven.

With the amount of money Rattatak made from the games of the Cauldron, and the deposits of Alum and firegems recently found in the North. Rattatak was brimming with things to trade with, and Nemene and Evelynn were more than eager to trade.

She smiled at her sister then spoke “This time, were meeting an equal.”

The Sister Queen let out a mirthful laugh, finally another Queen was to visit them.

The Shiny advanced through the air at a leisury speed. On board was Nessarose deWinter, Queen of Endelaan. Her handmaidens worked on her gown, adding the last required pins into it to keep it in proper place and form. Nessa giggled as she remembered how just a year ago they'd tried to convince her that this was an unneeded part of dressing her. But the amount of combats and battles the young Queen had gone through had proven them wrong, especially when they wanted to make sure her dress remained intact by the end of the evening. The only thing that could ruin it now was actual ripping, but somehow no one ever thought to do that when they were trying to kill you.

The link between Rattatak and Endelaan was a new one. Though Nessarose's hard work, the planet was heard of more and more around the 'verse, though coordinates had not actually been released. A precious few knew where to find the planet and how, but she knew it was a matter of time before that would no longer be the case. Through her journeys she had made several enemies who would all love to come and glass her home, and this was but a tiny part of what gave her need to form allies as well. The free houses of Serenno were her allies now, or would be soon enough, but that alone would not be enough. For her plan to work out as she wanted them to, she had to think bigger.

Rattatak was in need of slaves. The Queen had done her homework, she knew some of the crazy amounts of slaves she imported. It was sad that her own planet could not meet the entire demand, and would have no monopoly on the subject. Yet financial agreements, in her experience and according to her studies, worked out best in the long term. Slaves today, a joined war tomorrow. It would be lovely.

The other people within the Shiny were just as optimistic. Slaves were trained to thing good of their part in bettering Endelaan, even if it meant leaving it. And not a single slave there would reject or even think thoughts against it.

The limosine finally came to a stop. Out came the first two, one Sorceress and one Warrior, clad in Endelaan leathers and furs. After them came Nessarose herself, dressed in her gown, and followed by six more of her personal entourage. The slaves, for now, remained behind.

Nemene and Evelynn stood in place, soft placid smiles adorning their lips as they waited for their equal to step forth from the small ship. The beating rays of the sun struck down on Rattatak an extra bit today, though neither of the Sister Queens seemed to be bothered one bit by the heat, both standing in their neat silks.

When the other Queen finally approached it was Nemene who did the talking, as she did most of the time. Her voice was warm and smooth, almost liquid. “Your Majesty, I am Queen Nemene Athaem Talith, and this is my Sister Evelynn Talith.”

Both women gave respectful nods of their heads, about as much as one could get out of any Queen when they spoke to an equal.

“We welcome you to Rattatak.” Not many received even this type of greeting. Most would have gotten a slave or some type of ambassador and then would have been lead to the nearby Throne Room. The Fact that both Nemene and Evelynn had decided to appear before Nessarose was something truly to be marked.

The smile that appeared on Nessa's face was a genuine one. She bowed her head back to the other two queens and took a step forward, putting all her people behind her, and extending her hand in a warm motion.

"I am honored to be here," she replied, her voice soft, carrying over the wind as a flower's pestal.

Motioning with her head, the people who had stood in the back now moved, bringing forward giant baskets in their arms. "I bring food and fabrics from Endelaan," Nessarose resumed. For the trip they had packed the very finest of the food the planet had to offer; rare fruits and vegetables that grew in few to none of the other places the Galaxy had to offer, as well as several rolls of fabric, soft and colorful, to feast the eyes and the body.

Snapping her fingers, the two last emerged from the Shiny before its door closed. A man and a woman, none donning any clothes. Each was at the prime of their youth, with strong and capable bodies. Both had long hair, decorated in elaborate braids that emphasized their sharp bones and long necks, and their bodies were covered in tribal tattooes, gliding along with the natural lines of their physiques. She nodded to them, and both smiled. "And gifts."

Nemene seemed absolutely delighted by the pair of slaves, so delighted in fact that her eyes light up with joy. Like anyone, she enjoyed receiving gifts.

Inside they had prepared much the same display as Nessarose had brought, all the indigenous food and flowers that could be found on Rattatak had been put on neat display in the dining hall along with several of the salves that had been brought and trained here, a picture of what would become of the man and woman that now stood as gifts before Nemene and Evelynn, as well as some of the most well trained Animals that had been bred by Evelynn.

All to make an extravagant show for Nessarose when she stepped into the palace.

Without thinking she began to walk forward, taking two steps before stopping in her tracks. Her eyes turned to Nessarose and she spoke warmly. “I beg your pardon, may I?”

They were gifts, but it was more respectful to ask before inspecting.

Her entire entourage followed in, and Nessarose visibly caught her breath in her throat at the beautiful sights that decorated the interior. To sum it up in short, it was simply lovely, and beautiful, and she knew that even her mother would approve.

When Queen Nemene made her request, she nodded her head eagerly. "Of course," she said with a pleasant smile, "they are yours, until you see it fit to dispose of them. And there are many more where they came from."

Signaling to the pair, they smiled towards their new owner, everything in their body language signaling submission to their new owner.
