- Force Resistant: The armor was designed and created specifically to function was an anti-force user armor, distilling the Vonduun Skerr Kyrrics force resistance into something more simple, refined, and flexible. This was done by breeding the standard Vonduun Crab with several smaller Yuuzhan Vong biots, crossing them until eventually the Vonduun Skerr Kyrric began much more like a standard Ooglith Masquer, in that it was more pliable, form fitting, and vastly more flexible than the standard Vonduun Skerr Kyrric. In essence, the Vonduun Skerr Karamik became more of an underlay than a true piece of armor, capable of deflecting most blades, slughtrowers, and absorbing some blaster bolts but incapable of standing up to extreme damage. Additionally, the Vonduun Skerr Karamik retained it's ability to withstand the touch of the force, and even going further. The Vonduun Skerr Kamarik like an ooglith seeps into the wearer, rendering them partially dead to the force. This is the main function of the Skerr Karamik underlay allowing them to slip through the grasp of telekinesis, as well as most other powers of the force that would not effect Yuuzhan Vong.
- Electricity: The Vonduun Skerr Karamik beneath the armor plates of VT-Shark Skin is a living creature, and like most living creatures it does notlike electric shock. When it receives one the Karamik tighents, constricts, and causes immense pain to the wearer. Being inside of this armor while it is electrocuted it not at all a pleasant situation and not something anyone really wanted to go through.
- Plates: The Armor itself consists of plates layered upon a biot bodysuit. These plates are interlaced, but do not cover the entire body. There are several weak points throughout the armor, mainly under the arms, behind the knees, the elbows, and several other spots. Here the Biot below is exposed and easily damaged.
Though Slevin has always preferred entering combat in a more natural state, his beloved Natalia has somewhat frowned upon this practice.
As of late danger to the Coratanni Cartel have become increasingly more threatening, and though Slevin keeps himself in peak physical condition it started to become more and more obvious that the dangers of the battlefield were becoming a bit...much. Eventually, after a brief and quite curt conversation with the woman he loved Slevin began to look into the possibility of something to wear during the more heavier bouts of combat that he under went.
Using their connections within the various Trade Ports around the galaxy as well as their own substantially ill-gotten gains, Slevin managed to have Coratanni steal a shipment of goods from Vanir Technologies. This practice was not uncommon and given the size of Vanir itself went almost entirely unnoticed.
Thankfully for Slevin the contents of the stolen container were more than helpful in the creation of a new armor.
With Natalia watching carefully Slevin began to customize the stolen piece of equipment, adding various smaller touches and changing the color scheme somewhat in order to facilitate his own personal style. The right arm of the armor was also torn off in order to better fit his cybernetic enhancements.
After a final run of tests within SIN's facilities the armor was ready for combat.
