Slicers/black market merchants/other illegal naughty people, please read

So I've been toying around with an idea for a little while, and thought it might be something the community wants to hear. Basically a faction specifically for slicers, called something suitably slicer/hacker/whatever themed. The faction would be used to represent the slightly more illegal side of the holonet, and obviously wouldn't really be a thing for dominions etc - just a place for illegal slicing activity to go down regardless of where your characters are in the galaxy.

Something I was thinking about implementing for the group would be a kindof "infamy" system, where completing threads within the group would cause your character to gain or lose infamy based on the outcome of the thread (up to +5 for a positive outcome, and up to -3 for a negative one). Everyone would start out with 0 infamy, with 100 being the cap wherin your character would be considered as some kind of holonet legend, and -50 being the cap on the other end of things, wherein your character is considered to be so under the radar they're not worth discussing. This would be tracked by a simple list, updated every time someone completes a thread, where people would be listed based on their infamy. Also to encourage people to be active, infamy decays at 10 points a month until it hits 0, so it would take a character with 100 infamy 10 months of inactivity to go back to not being notable.

If we had enough people joining in, then it'd be a cool way for slicers/black market merchants/etc to gain notoriety within the community, as the goal would (eventually) be to make the group a sortof one-stop-shop for finding out the who's who of the underworld.

So, with that said, is anyone interested?

This sounds like a good idea. Fooled around with a similar idea myself a bit, but I've been busy as of lately and haven't had time for writing. I hope to thread with you when I got the time to return! Good luck with everything. :)

They can thread specifically to lower their infamy, for example, doing something but pinning it on someone else during the course of the thread.
