The slicing glove is exactly what it sounds like—a wearable slicing device. Made of durasteel, fabric, and electrical parts, the slicing glove is a modest accessory that can be easily carried, worn, or stored. Although study, this glove is not meant for use in battle and was not designed with durability in mind.
The slicing glove can be activated by plugging the accompanying cord into a jack, or by pressing its palm to a scanner. This no-frills device is easy to use and can slice into most basic systems to deactivate cameras, access information, or open doors. However, the slicing glove can encounter trouble when faced with more advanced systems, heavy security, or anything beyond standard encryption. It may not be effective in these scenarios without extensive modification, or assistance from a skilled slicer and/or slicing droid.
