Small arms power packs

Maybe it is a stupid question but are small arms power packs (including, but not limited to, lightsabers, blasters) rechargeable?

If they are rechargeable, are there any devices available on the Marketplace or in canon that allow for recharging power packs in small arms?

Or are ordinary power droids used for recharging such thing as small arms power packs? I'd probably want to purchase a power droid if that's the case.

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"] the lightsaber has a little slot you can plug in to charge it on most/all diagrams of it. As for blaster power packs they can be rechargeable however they are both a power pack and a condensed gas tank as blasters are essentially plasma guns. So a power droid could charge the energy component but you'd need something else to add in the gas into it. Alternately some sources say blaster power packs are disposable. I imagine it would depend entirely on the blaster but from a supply stand point if you could make it rechargeable you would do so.

According to the wookieepedia article for power cells it does not state that they were rechargeable, and to my understanding it's implied that they aren't, regarding blasters (because of them being replaced during various battle scenes and such), but feel free to create your own.

Edit: There's a ton of different kinds of power packs/power cells that exist and a few do state they are rechargeable. Lightsaber power packs, for example (Diatium Power Cells) are rechargeable.

To add to what Lily said, the only blaster powerpack that I know of that is recharge is the one used by the DC-15s, which notably regenerates its own power at a very slow rate. But considering how vast the Star Wars universe is, there are probably a lot of variations on such a piece of everyday technology.

The closest thing that I can of what to what you are describing is a Fusion furnace. It might be a decent place to start if you're looking at making a new tech submission.

I'd still need a tibanna dispenser; fusion furnaces are just one part of what would make a powerpack recharger work.

Are there tibanna-dispensing devices available in canon or in the Marketplace that are fit for weapon powerpacks?

[member="Jessica Med-Beq"], from what I've read, extra blaster gases are typically described as being carried in canteen-like containers by soldiers according to Cracken's Rebel Field Guide. Otherwise, I'm not sure of anything that else that matches that description.
