Small notice

As a few of you already know, I'm in the hospital again with complications from an infection. Things are improving but I'll probably still be here for another night, possibly two depending on test results. But I should be coming home soon.

I'm kinda slow to respond to threads and such while here. Because not only am I rather ill, the internet loves to drop in and out as well, and load everything here painfully slowly. I'll do my best to post as I am able, just be patient if you are waiting on me, or any of my alts.

I know I'm behind on the thread Kian started for the evil guys, but I'll catch up soonish. And jump into the lightside one, probably once they let me out of the hospital for that one.

Also, speaking with the doctor, there is a possibility of me going home, Monday or Tuesday, all depending on how things go. So, we'll just have to wait and see. Things are really trial and error right now trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.

Well I don't get to go home today, like I was supposed to. There is one last thing they want to check out. So, another day, possibly two before I can go.

So three days later and they still haven't decided to let me go home. I would have been able to today if not for some paperwork to home health not being filed by 6pm. So I have to wait one more day at least.

Good news is, it wasn't really a complication from the infection. The infection is healing well. I, however had an adverse reaction to the IV antibiotic for it. I had a drug fever from it, where the drug itself caused my fever to spike way above acceptable limits, to the point it was getting dangerous. So now that, that is all fixed and I have a new antibiotic soon enough I'll be able to go home. Apologises to those I owe posts to.

I must say your inner strength to battle through all this is extraordinary.

But good you will be finally going home.. and that all is well once more.

You should write a book on all this experience, but might be a difficult write.

Awww, thank you dear. That's very kind of you to say.

Indeed, as long as there are no more hang ups, and all the paperwork is properly filed I can go home at last.

You know you are not the first person to suggest that I do so. And it's something I have considered. Maybe someday if I can find someone willing to proofread it and give me a little encouragement along the way, I may just very well sit down and do just that. Maybe someone could find some comfort and courage in a book like that. Or at least I would hope. That and it might be quite therapeutic to get it all written out.

After much delay and with many errors in paperwork, I'm finally home. I'll get back into the swing of things over the next day or two. Just try and be patient with me in the mean time.
