Small Steps lead to Great Things

[Raiyo Tatsuu]

Theed, a royal jewel among the Outer Rim cities, located on the utopian planet of Naboo, and the next destination for Raiyo, visiting the city to buy more resources for his trip to Sullust.
On his way there, a strange feeling had been botheing him, getting stronger and stronger the closer they got to the planet's surface, nearly breaking his head upon landing there.

He left his companion on his personal ship, docked at one of the trading stations in orbit, waiting for his return to continue their journey.

He was looking for an arms shop, but in a city like this they were far more rare than on a scum riddled planet like Tatooine; but that had resulted in a nasty fight and a blown up secondhand blaster.

First stop -- the local cantina! It doesn't matter how polite the people may seem, the real scum resides in the cantina's, always; and they know their local dealers like no other.

After a bit of searching, Raiyo entered the cantina that was located right next to the transit, quite a common place as you would expect.
Upon looking around, he noticed some strange individuals, mostly the eccentric rich types, and some bounty hunter in the corner, waiting for someone to assign him a job.
Raiyo, squeezing his eyes to block out the headache, ordered a drink and sat down, noticing someone in the corner of the room, some shady looking persona.

The feeling become stronger, but the pain left immediately, probably due to the strong taste of his drink.
He kept looking at the person in the corner, expecting something to happen, completely leading him off track with what he was here for in the first place..

Some may call her shady...some may call her a scum did it matter? Not really she cared not for their words but more for their credits they held"

She noticed a single person with a strong force signature...she looked at him from her corner, she had a robe around her so her weapons and armor stayed hidden


She could tell he noticed and raised a browser to him and motioned for him to come over, she flashed a credit signalling she'd pay for drinks

The feeling got stronger the longer he concentrated on the girl, but tried not to; now wasn't the time, and he had to hurry back to continue.
He took one last moment to look at her, and noticed her looking back, asking him over.

The bartender put down two drinks, nodding at the girl, and took off; Raiyo was awkwardly sitting in place, not sure what to say.

"I u-uhm,... Did we meet before?"

Raiyo felt stupid, obviously knowing they didn't, but something did feel familiar; it bothered him, like it always did.
His scar hurt alot, lately it has gotten worse, but it felt like the fresh burn it used to be; Raiyo tried hard not to make any faces, but he had to shrug, trying to ignore the pain.

"So... How are ye?"

She watched the person walk over and gave a grin at the person"we've not met yet but now we have"she said and chuckled

She could feel his was hurt,weather it be physical or mental she couldn't tell "

I'm doing well I just noticed something about you"sge said taking a drink"and I can tell you've noticed too

Raiyo raised an eyebrow, surprised by her reaction.
He didn't know how to respond, leaving a gap between his response and her words.
He sighed, not able to think of a reply yet.

He took a moment.. And spoke

"What are you talking about?.."

It wasn't much of an reply but he didn't have anything else to say.

She chuckled looking at him as she sat up and looked at him.

You know what I'm talking about."she said and chuckled even more"

One I can tell your in pain from what I don't know

Raiyo tapped with his fingers on the wooden table, staring at the woman.
He got nervous, wondering how she knew about his condition; he hadn't shown any signs of pain whatsoever.

"What about it.. The thing you are talking about? I have no clue what you mean"

He tried to talk around it, letting her show her true colours, but she just smiled, making him even more nervous.
He took a sip of his drink, and tried to calm down; this could be a clue to what he was seeking, and it may help him alot.

"What is it you are speaking of?.."

He was getting nervous about her poking atbwhat she could feel

On trust me I know...the force gas a way of telling me so

She said and chuckling at him with a big grin and sighed

The force--

Raiyo stopped for a second.
The force.. The Jedi.. His father..
Little pieces fell together, something in his head just accepted it; he felt the force, he was feeling the force everytime he had these strange urges..

"The force.. You say? Isn't that a myth..

He was curious, he wanted to know her affiliation to it, if she may have known his dad, who she was and how she sensed him.

She laughed at he said it was a myth and then sighed

Unless you've been under a rock it'd common people know of the force now.."

She said and smiled kindly"

He kinda did, he did not care about the outside world and alot of myths and stories he knew were ones told by his mother before she died.

Shrugging, Raiyo asked her another question, curious now.

"Can you, can you tell me what this is?"

He pulled out his necklace, revealing a yellow kyber crystal attached to it.
Raiyo made sure only [member="Stardust"] could see it, as he treasured it alot.

"It belonged to my father"

Stardust bent down and observed it before nodding and smiling"that there is the heart of these"she said and pulled a saber out"

What you have there is the main component of a saber for it to work"she said and looked at it more"hmmm a hard to find one at that

His eyes widened, surprised by this revelation.
A saber crystal... He only ever saw one... not too long ago actually, during the raid of his ship. three hooded figures robbed him, armed with these sabers.
The lovely scar on his back was a daily reminder of that.

"So... this is it's core.. I guess? As in, It's battery pack or something like that?"

She looked at it more and nodded to herself before setting back up "

Well not exactly a battery pack more like....a focusing crystal...that gives the saber its power "she said and looked at him" yellow ones signifies usually one who guarded temples and such and were very skilled saber users as well as the force
