So I got to thinking.

Its never been a problem for me personally, but I realized. Ranks are given by factions. If a person makes a character with no major allegiances, who names them a knight or master? They might get capped, but that's more than a little extra work and honestly, I don't really see how an unaligned force user cans seriously advance.

Its in the rules, an RPJ represents them and they are responsible for upgrading themselves.

What if you have a master from a faction but you yourself are factionless?
