Location: Hyperspace Heading For Ossus



As Rose was exiting Lainna out atmosphere she turned towards the droid "Take us to Ussos." Then she got up from her chair and walking through a door to the back part of her ship then feeling a little jolt from the ship entering hyperspace. As she got to her room she turned towards a chest and opened it. Looking down at four light sabers then reaching down and opening three of the four chamber grabbing the three crystals and the four sabers with out the crystals in them then closing the chest. "D5 activate the Deflector shield and prep the countermeasures just incase." As the droid did that she grabbed both of her saber holding them both in each hand remembering what she has done and started to feel regret. "Hope I wont have to use you two." She said as she equipped her "jedi" saber on her waist then she hid her Sith saber. As she finished equipping the sabers she returned to the cockpit and took over the ships controls. "All right Q5 start running countermeasures simulators and go to the repair room. As the droid left the room she reached under the foot spacing and grabbed her backpack and throwing the sabers into the main pouch and the crystals into a smaller pouch then throwing the bag aside as Q5 returning from the repair room. Rose looked up then grabbing the joy stick and pulling the hyper lever back and entering Ossus space.

"All right Q5 open the Comms and spread the message over the temples frequency." As the droid did what she said she looked were the temple/Academy would be "This is Rose Void needing clearance to land at the Jedi academy and when I get there may I speak to a jedi master?" she said then waited for a response or getting blown out of space. "Q5 make sure those shield stay up until we land along with the countermeasures."

Corvus was just finished taking a lesson with the Younglings. This time it was all about the tenet of Overconfidence. As ever, it proved a lively debate.

No sooner has she stepped out the door to the classroom than she was waived down by a Padawan. “Corvus, you’re needed at the hangar. A ship has asked for clearance to land and wants to speak to a Master. You’re the only one available…not that you’re the last choice…I mean…”

Corvus laughed. She encouraged the Younglings and Padawans to call her by her first name. But she bowed slightly by way of a welcome. “Don’t worry, I know what you meant Padawan Lydon. Tell them to grant landing rights and I’ll be along there presently.”

Of course the last two times she did this, there was a Sith Lord waiting for her. What were the odds a third was going to meet her. And being a Corellian, she started to reckon those odds.

After a few minutes of waiting for a response from control she was given permission to land. "Well now or never" she said as she pulled the engine level propelling them towards the Temple as she got closer to the temple she could feel someone powerful with the force was waiting her. "All right Q-5 get us close to the landing pad and open the bay door and hover when i jump out leave and stay in outer orbit till told otherwise." She allowed the droid to take over the ships control she turned her chair grabbing her bag and started to walk for the bay door. When it started to open she made sure only her "jedi" saber was visible.

When the door finished opening she jumped out of the ship and landed on a outer landing pad noticing the lack of guards. "Hmm they must be waiting for the jedi to come but anyways." Rose started to make her way towards the doors to the palace when the door opened seeing four troopers come out of the door and waited for what she assumed was a jedi making rose smirk a little waiting for the jedi to great her or what ever they do.

Corvus made it to the hanger just as the ship landed. Except it didn’t land precisely. It got close to the landing pad, the bay door opened and a figure jumped out before the ship left.

It was an unusual hangar – built into the side of a cliff face near to the Jedi Academy, the main flight control room was designed with a holoprojector in the centre, with several control stations surrounding it. The hangar was supervised by non-Jedi who oversee all activities within the area. Milling around were the ubiquitous sentry droids.

Corvus wandered into the hangar as the occupant of the ship and waved the troopers to stand down. She approached the young woman and bowed. “I am Corvus. Corvus Raaf. I understand you wished to speak to someone?”

As the clones came out of the door nova used every muscle in her not to go for her saber and start to slice them up until a jedi had followed them out and waved the trooper to stand down. When the jedi approached her and bowed nova bowed back to her with respect. Then heard her speak her name.

"Indeed Corvus i am hear to speak to a jedi about joining your cause and abandon the sith ways." She said trying not to sound terrified that this jedi could probably kill her on the spot for what she has done. "And as for starting to abandon their way and respect you fallen i give you these." Nova grabbed her bad containing the padawans sabers and handed a trooper the bag the grabbing her saber and opening the crystal chamber. Nova looked at the crystal for a moment remembering how she got it the taking it out and handing it to Corvus.

Corvus looked at the offered sabers. She’d been offered them before, from Padawans that thought they’d lost the way. On those occasions, she’d politely refused to accept them.

But this was different. The young woman had just confessed to being a Sith. So she watched as the former Sith handed the bag to the trooper and then offered Corvus the crystal. She held it in her hand.

“OK,” she said, her voice soft and gentle. “We should walk and talk. We have a distinct process for those from the Dark-side who wish to redeem. So to jump straight into that process, please tell me who you are, your involvement as a Sith and most importantly why you are here.”

Corvus waved away the troopers as they walked past them – and led her guest into the Academy gardens, currently bathed in sunshine. "Take your time, there is no rush."

Nova nodded at Corvus saying they should walk and talk then talking about a process for redemption for the sith. Then she asked about who she was and her involvement with the sith. As they entered the Academy gardens she started to talk.

"Well my name is Nova. Don't have a last name but they just call me Nova Creation. Sorry they are those i grew up with." Then nova looked around observing every detail of the gardens. Then chuckling a little "It's looks just like what they trained us in." then nova shook her head "Anyways sorry. As my involvement with the sith they created me to fight. You, Well jedi. But they said my ultimate purpose was to kill the padawan before they became knight. But my master had another plan for me she trained me in a form that really shouldn't be taught to padawans and her vision for me was to create the ultimate Brawler/Slicer in open combat against Jedi master. Until she was killed. Then i was moved back to the academy." Nova said then sitting down on a ledge of a flower bed with the warm sun shining on them. "So what else would you like to know and Were should i start? Oh and i guess i won't need this." Nova said while taking out her second saber and setting it down next to her. "Do what you want with it i really don't need it right now. Oh would you like to know how i go those sabers and the crystals?"

Corvus smiled. “Welcome Nova. I suspect I’ll have a lot of questions for you, but for now it makes most sense for you to carry on your story.” Corvus left the additional saber between them and made no motion to pick it up.

“As it seems relevant to you, it would be useful to know how you came about the sabers and crystals and I’d also like to know why you are turning your back on the Dark-side.” Her voice remained calm as they now sat in the gardens and talked – to all intents and purposes a regular Master-Padawan conversation.

Nova smiled a bit when Corvus asked how she came upon the sabers and crystals. "Well i was nine when i acquired the those saber on Manaan don't know why the republic was there but they were. Anyways i was on Manaan resupplying my ship and i was trapped because the republic had flagged my ship and sent a team of troops with some jedi and there padawans to go search the ship sith. While this was happening i was in a market near by buying food. It didn't take long for me to realize they had found found my ship the area had started to have more and more republic ships flying over."

"Then I headed back hoping they hadn't found my ship but my luck they had sent a team and two jedi's with four padawans. My thought was if i left with out being seen i would be able to leave the planet on a freighter then have my droid fly the ship above the city and enter Hyperspace while still in the planets atmosphere but while i was walking away from my ship i guess the padawans had caught a glimpse of me and started to follow me. I had walked about a few blocks before i had noticed they were following me. When i had figured they were following my i turned towards a ship yard and full sprinted to it. I will give them that they were fast thought. They had stayed with me the whole time i was trying to lose them. After running from then for about four minutes they were still on my trail and i had taken a wrong turn cornering my self. I tried to find a weak spot in the wall so maybe i could break through but when i turned around they were all standing there with there Lightsaber draw they insisted i gave up and surrendered till their master had come to them with the soldiers but i couldn't just let my self get caught that easily so i drew my saber hoping they would see its dueled and they would back off but they thought they could win sense they had greater numbers. They all looked at each other then they attacked my so i did what i could only do i defended my self. Well soft of. When i realized they were just doing this to keep me distracted until the rest came is started to us lethal force against them."

Then nova learns forwards looking at the ground then said "The first one wasn't had to kill i used the Fourth form against her she was Mirakula probably a little older them me at the time. Then i took the Twi'Lek next. As i killed them i took their sabers i don't know why i just did with out thought. Then there was another Twi'lek and a human padawan. At this point i wanted to stop fighting and let them be but i heard drop ships in the distance then looking up to see them but saw the two Jedi masters standing on some creates after that i blacked out for a moment. When i regained conscience i didn't see the padawans anymore but the Jedi's were running at me with there sabers activated and the padawans sabers laying before me. I grabbed the light sabers and used force jump as my ship flew right above me and then exiting the planet and entered hyperspace." Nova still looking down at the ground but with her saber in her hand not knowing when she grabbed it.

"As for turning my back on the sith. The sith cannot be trusted not even with a padawan and master relationship they turn on each other if they have the right chance to. All they are is lies and deception and they don't keep their promises. Not even to them self."

"I don't want the next generation to be raised up by that and even most important i don't want to leave that type of mark in history." Then nova looked back up and looked at Corvus. "I'm sure you know what type of mark in history you want to leave no matter how big or small it is. Just a difference."

Corvus listened to the story.

“You sound truly repentant, which is all we need for now. Your behaviour will be monitored and as long as you remain on the true path, I cannot see any problems for you.”

“Your sabers will be returned to you once your Master confirms it is OK. If you train without a Master and simply pick up training from different tutors, then simply come to me when you feel you are ready to have your sabers returned. Then we can have a little chat and you can indeed have them back.”

Corvus stood and walked them to the main Academy building. “My advice is to go and introduce yourself to everyone and sign up on the Master-Padawan board. You do not need to advertise your past, but do not hide it either. It is neither to be proud nor ashamed of. It is where you go from here that matters, not where you’ve necessarily been.”

“But before I leave you, do you have any questions.”

Nova listened to corvus talking about her being monitored through out her stay when corvus sayed "As long as you remain on the true path," Nova right hand turned into a fist then her eyes changed. She closed her eyes to avoid to draw Corvus attention anymore. Then Nova said. "I've heard that before." Then a flash back from when she was picked by her old master and her saying. "You shall become a great sith warrior as long as yo remain on the true path. and your path has been chosen for you." Then snapping back to reality she quickly released her fist and opened her eyes as they changed back hoping she hadn't noticed then. Nova stood up with Corvus and walked with her as she suggested to go to the Master-Padawan Board for a start. And if she was asked about her past not to hide it nor should she advertise it. Nova looked over the railing seeing her ship far out jumps circling the temple.

Then Nova said. "Well i do have a few questions and concerns. My sabers well my saber and the other sabers. Sense they are not in my hands someone will want them for them self and if they acquire them they will then come after me. " Nova then looked at Corvus "So i guess what my questions is what will happen if they get them and they find me?" she said looking a little worried.

Corvus listened and nodded. "They are your sabers and I will hold on to them until your Master is appointed and then I can hand them to him or her for safe-keeping. A saber is a personal item, so it would be odd if anyone else wanted to take them. But given to take them would be theft, nobody here would consider such a thing."

"You seem sincere in your desire to become a Jedi and so you should have no fear whilst you are here. Nobody will look to oppose you, but rather to help you." She smiled. "Is there anything else?"

As Corvus reassured her that they will be kept safe and everybody here is here to help her she showed a little smile and did a little bowed then lost her self in her thought again. Nova knew no one inside would want to take the crystals but some one that she had not seen for a very long time. But she knew they still were out there and had a different point of view of the galaxy. Rose shaking her head clearing these thought she looked back at Corvus and said. "Thank you. For this. For giving me a second chance." Rose started to think if there was anything else she would need to ask before they were done. "Actually there is one thing would you know anybody that would be willing to help me with meditation and center of being?"

Corvus nodded. "It is pleasing for a Padawan to show an interest in Meditation - a much overlooked discipline with many, many benefits. Center of Being is one of the more useful and if blended with the use of a saber makes your defence all the more powerful."

"Give me a couple of days and I'll call you for your first lesson. OK?"

Rose was glad she could help here with meditation and Center of Being. This could help her contain her past self and the destructive power that is hidden inside her waiting for the right moment for her to lose control and end innocent people again. "Thank you again." She said with a small smile then. Bowing and walking the way they had come from heading back to the landing platform.
