One month later

Imahalyans light was making her approach, carrying her planets goods to be traded and to take stuff back to the planet, aboard stardust was checking things over and had a crate of wine taken off of the main line and given to her, she got a speeder ready to go so she could go visit a friend named @ Darlyn Excron

The cruiser touched down and the crew started unloadimg, she sent a message say she was on her way, she took off feeling the wind in her face as she drove to where he was staying at nearby the palace

Quite honestly it was a rather dull day for Darlyn, sitting around the palace as he usually did. He had a lovely room and office space, but it never quite felt, shall one say, private. Perhaps it was simply his paranoia, knowing the frequency of darksiders passing through his Queen's palace, but he needed somewhere to get away for a few minutes. So he'd purchased a room in the nearest apartment complex, a small one he could easily afford and spend a few hours every so often without having his defenses on high alert.

It was quite nice actually. And fortunately he had been there when [member="Stardust Raxis"] sent a message alerting him that she was headed there now. He chuckled a bit and unlocked the door, nodding to himself as he went to lay back down on the small bed in the little apartment. He didn't sleep here, of course, but it was comfortable none the less. Stardust would find the room unlocked and the area rather well kept. If she expected some messy, ill kept apartment she would be sorely left wanting.

Stardust arrived as she stopped the speeder and gave a smile, she looked at the apartment as she got off the speeder. She hefted the crate off, she walked to the door and tried it seeing it unlocked, she pushed it gently open as she sat the crate down on the table, she went back and got some wine glasses made on imahalyan and called out

" Of course I'm here," Darlyn called back, getting up and heading into the main room. He was noticeably darker in his overall force signature, though perhaps that could be a simple misunderstanding. After all, he wasn't ever a lightsider, and he was hardly one to hide it. "Ah Queen Raxis, welcome to my humble little home away from home. About twenty or thirty meters from home, but away none the less." He smiled and pulled up a few chairs to the table. Had it already been a month? He'd hardly noticed.

oh please just call me star, after all this is nothing formal just two people drinking

She said with a smirk pulling a bottle put and setting it down on the table next to the glasses, she looked to him feeling out in the force, she simply shrugged to herself as she smiled at him showing him the glasses

thought I'd throw in extra, wine glasses made on imahalyan

She motioned to the bottle as she chuckled

I'll let you pour the first glasses

Darlyn smiled and nodded. "Very well then, Star. I'd be delighted to pour the first drinks." He pulled the bottle over and uncapped it, pouring out first her glass then his own. He placed the bottle back down, fairly certain it would be used again shortly, and picked up the glass. He offered a small, silent toast to nothing, before taking a sip. "A generous gift, I'll be sure to value it greatly. So then, how has life gone in your neck of the galaxy?"

She raised Her glass and gave a silent toast before she sipped her wine, it would have a almost flowery taste mixed with several different types of berries, she gave a sigh as she put her glass down lopkimg to him

oh well, nirmal, pass a law here veto a few look at the line for recruitment to the first order military....do a few jobs here and there

He smiled lightly and nodded. "Sounds dull. Well, I suppose my job isn't much better. Travel around the city and make sure nothing's amiss, or stand next to Kay for a few hours. Occasionally I can excuse myself to go offworld and go headhunting for potential prospects in the guard but those are few and far between." He sighed lightly and took another drink. Plenty of work to do on the planet after all, didn't leave much travel time. "Still, I can go offworld on occasion. I suppose I should be thankful, no?"

Eh I go of world when I get bored go to a mercenary job, definitely fun, on top of that I usually stay home to take care of my son

She said as she sipped her drink and gave a sigh with a smile, she couldn't help but smile at the thought of her child that was growing well

I would say so, at least you don't have a council bothering you asking where your going for a job

"No but I do have the guards wondering where their boss is going. Pains of being the best in the group I suppose." He chuckles and drinks a bit more, humming through his thoughts. There were many things going through his mind still, even off the job he had to keep in mind how long he was away from the palace and what all could happen. Unlike some jobs, he couldn't ever take a full holiday, which was more than a little annoying. "I was never really fond of mercenary work specifically. You get all sorts of jobs, I was much more a fan of bounty hunting. Hunting down someone was a lot more thrilling than going to fight someone else's battles."

She gave a laugh as took a drink of the wine savoring it's sweet and sour flavor looking over at him as she nodded

I've done both, whatever makes the money ya know...by the way how are you enjoying the wine?

"It's certainly as good as I remember, what little I've had." He chuckled a bit and set the glass down, rolling his neck in thought. "I have to admit, I'm curious how you can manage odd jobs and your duties as a government official. Even with as few strings as I have, I find it difficult to excuse myself off world for more than a day or two. What's your secret then? How do you keep that red tape down long enough to enjoy a few breathes of fresh air once in a while?"

She gave a smile as she leaned back and sipped her dribk, she looked over at him as she chuckled at his question

it's a odd way I'll admit, more less in the deciding factor on laws and such or I can propose laws, but I have a council that can regulate things themselves, so when I go off world I hand them the reigns and go do what I need then cone nack and took the reigns and play my role...Mostly if it's a important meeting I shall skip the job and attend

Darlyn nodded and listened to her explain. Well, that certainly made sense. He could imagine Kay likely wouldn't do the same but he could see her doing something similar, if only to take a day off. She certainly deserved it, considering the chaos she had to deal with running a kingdom. He drained his glass and poured a second.

"Sensible. I frequently pretend to be going out looking for potential non-Commenorians to hire for my own staff, or for personal errands. It's nice every so often to go back to some of my old haunts as a hunter, It's always pretty fun, plenty of drinking and fistfights." He chuckled and began working on his new drink. "Lovely bunch of fellows really."

hahahahah you know the drinking part is fun for me, I can't get drunk, so I'll find the biggest guys in the bar the types that scare most of the people in the cantina and I'll challenge them to a drink contest, it is being hilarious watching them pass out...or sometimes er die

She said and sipped her wine as she gave a sigh and a smile

"Don't get into drinking games unless you know your limit. It's sound advice and very useful." He chuckled a bit rather quickly downed his drink, again pouring from the bottle. At this point he may as well just be drinking from the bottle anyways. "I used to do similar when I thought they'd pay. Nothing better than getting drunk on someone else's credits."

well I used to frequent places where people thought that a twilek like me could only take the fruity drinks

She poured herself another and sipped it as she sighed out listening

I remember the last time I got drunk when I could, I woke up on the bar with lots of people knocked out and some man in you underwear playing a song before passing out...needless to say it was odd

"Sounds like an average weekend in the slums of Nar Shadda if you ask me." He chuckled and sat back with a smirk. "You certainly seem to have quite the amount of experiences. We should trade stories sometime, could be entertaining. Hell most of mine sound like tall tales, could probably get quite a cult following if I wrote them down."

She said and laughed as she sipped her wine a little bit more with a smile on her face

oh hahaha you could say that, though that makes me sound old and I'm only 33 ya know hahaha....though your right I have had a lot of things happen I know my way around

"And I'm 20... something. 25 I think. We can all have good stories by now, can't we?" He chuckled a bit and sat the glass down, relaxing back against the chair with a very content grin on his face. "Like the time I had to chase this little rodian male through half of Mos Eisley. That was a fun hunt, let me tell ya. Those little guys might not look it, but they can be fast when they wanna be. 'Course not faster than lightning but, well, that would be unreasonable."
