• Hair color: N/A

 • Distinctions: They are covered in scales of either green, brown or cream colors. Their eyes range from green to gold to red.

 • Races: Standard
 • Force Sensitivity: Rare

 • Muscle: Sobeki have a heavy muscle tone and body mass. They can hold three times their own weight, as well as toss things quite a long distance such as spears or people. Their jaws were just as powerful due to their muscles, capable of crushing bones and light armor on troops.

 • Scaled: Their scales were thick and hard, making for a natural armor against their foes.

 • Patient Minds: They are of a patient demeanor, holding themselves steady in heated conversations and able to hold their wits together before things can get tense. This came from their more primitive past of being patient hunters.

 • Swimmers: They are rather skilled swimmers, living in areas with large bodies of water. Make excellent fishers as well.

 • Cold Blooded: Being cold blooded, they are slightly more difficult to spot using thermal scans and such.
Weaknesses:

 • Speed Is Not Key: Their scaled bodies tend to be rather heavy and despite the heavy muscle, they are not so fast or agile. The fastest they can move is when on all fours, yet still that is more like normal sprinting.

 • Need For Foood: The Sobeki tend to need lots of food to keep themselves running. While they are slow, they use up a lot of energy when being active. Food is a necessity for them.

 • Rage: If a Sobeki is to snap, they can go on a blood-lusted rampage. Not even allies are safe from their predatory rage.

 • Cold Blooded: There is a downside to being cold blooded, and high temperatures can harm them, sometimes fatally.

 • Senses: Their sense of sight was not the best, leaving them vulnerable at range. They relied on smell, taste and hearing.

 • The Force: Unlike the other races of Duatiel, the Sobeki are not so experienced in the force. It is a very rare case for one to be force sensitive.
CULTURE

 • Diet: Omnivore, but dominantly carnivorous. Grained made products, cattled creatures, farmed foods, some have been known to be cannibalistic.

 • Communication: Common, Anubian, also known as Duatian, have a personal language of rumbles.

 • Technology level: Lower than common technology level, has no capable space faring technology. Preferring more traditional lifestyles.

 • Religion/Beliefs: Like the other races of Duatiel, the Sobeki worship a select few deities. These deities are Yonhet, god of water and Sekrafah, god of life. They believe in peaceful harvesting, trade and safe passage for travellers. However they have a warrior past, sometimes revisiting these roots.

 • General behavior: Sobeki tend to be rather calm, collected, patient and surprisingly friendly despite menacing appearance. They tend to be productive and hard working. However, they tend to have some problems with anger, tending to go feral quickly if enraged.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Sobeki were once one of the prime predators on the planet of Duatiel. They were patient hunters, stalking prey from the shallows like many amphibian predators. Once they became of sentience, their patience developed over their hunter's instinct. When the planet was visited, like the Rathulians and Anubians they learned much such as enhanced farming technology for cultivation, and they began growing their own food while the others worked on technology for war or looking to the stars.

They were more grounded, keeping to themselves while they grew their villages in peace. When the creation of the deities came about, theirs were of life and peace, and the waters of the calm streams. But, some of their earlier tenacities kept to them. War came between the three races, and they proved to be a rather devastating enemy to the others. While they did lack organization, they proved to be worthy warriors. When enraged, some of them went berserk and tore through their foes. By the end of the war and the formation of the Bakari, they were respected farmers, merchants and front line troops when needed.

Their hard scales tend to act as both armor and protection from heat, due to their cold blood. Their sight was not the brightest compared to the other races, however. They relied on taste, smell and hearing. While this did hinder their combat experience, in close range they were a terror on the field. They may not have had speed on their side, but they had brutality and strength. Their jaws could crush light metal armor, even though it did damage teeth and their claws could slash at unarmored points. When enraged, not even pain stopped them.
