She was discovered as an infant on her homeworld, Shili, in its Pumori Province. Doctors identified her as Force-sensitive, and she was taken from her tribe to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. After graduating from the academy she began traveling the galaxy, working to complete her training under the guidance of Jedi Knight [member="Marek S'hadar"], who trained her and her best friend [member="Rasu Gan"] at the same time. She rose to prominence in the order after she proved herself to be a valuable asset in the war against the Old Sith Empire up until their extinction. She fought on numerous fronts such as Ossus, Charros IV, Dac, and O'reen; A deep connection to the Force and outstanding service in the name of the Galactic Republic saw her rise through the ranks at an astonishing pace. She had been offered teaching positions on Tython and Ossus, and even been nominated for a seat on the Jedi Council. However, as the darkness seemed to fade, another grew within the crevices of the Republic and the Jedi Order. During her days on the Ossus Council, the conflicting views of her peers only added to the internal war she was fighting herself. This marked another great schism that rocked the very foundation of the Jedi Order. Hundreds of Jedi withdrew from the front lines, and she was among them. She later resigned from her position as an instructor, and stepped down from the Ossus Academy Council.
While deep in meditation, she experienced a Force Vision where she witnessed multiple rebellions and the return of the Sith. Taking precaution she joined Masters Iella E'ron and Rasu Gan in The Order of the Silver Jedi. Within the new group of Jedi, she filled her previous shoes as an instructor, and oversaw the training of numerous Jedi Knights, and even sat on the Silver Council. Years of peace would end when her vision would prove correct of the re-emergence of the Sith. She participated in the defense of Coruscant and the evacuation of the city and the Jedi Temple. She was vital in helping evacuate the citizens of Monument Plaza, where she had to Orchestrate the defenses against Yuuzhan Vong invaders; her first time encountering the beings. She would later encounter the Vong again on Kashyyyk, after the One Sith' victory on Manaan, Sochi was one of the Jedi defending the Republic Stronghold against the Legion Yun'Do. A bloody battle, she strategized an effort to bolster the defenses of the base to prevent it's total destruction. While her work allowed the Republic forces to hold out and escape the clutches of the Horde, the battle ended in an inevitable defeat.
In the following months, the war had been taking its toll on the Master, as she couldn't quite get her footing on her purpose. The Silver Jedi began to take up a more active role and she was appointed to High General, where she was assigned to lead a series of campaigns to stamp out multiple insurrections in Republic space. One of the most prominent battles being the Liberation of 80060050075 where she led forces to liberate the people of Corlax 4 and to prevent them from succeeding from the Republic. After a few more years on the front lines, she returned to the Silver Temple to recuperate. With her mental health taking a toll, she proceeded with stepping down from the Silver council, her position as an instructor and taking up her reigns as a Felucian Chieftain in an self-imposed exile. Eventually she would return to the fold when the Jedi sought her out to end the resurrection of the slave trade on Zygeria.
Just before being dispatched she had a vision where she foresaw her impending death, and unbeknownst of her this was a plot set up by the Sith Lord Nemene to exact revenge on the Togruta master from years ago; Ru was walking directly into what could have been her own death trap. She was sent along with [member="Connor Harrison"], a former student of hers. During the mission she lost even more of a grip on her psyche from constantly being plagued by visions, and the events surrounding her death. She had lost faith in her abilities and lost all trust in her comrades. This led her on a wild goose chase which ended with her getting severely injured at the hands of Nemene Talith. Barely surviving the encounter, she refused to go back to the Jedi and begged Connor Harrison to help her fake her death.
Where she went before the events of the Netherworld is unknown.

However, she was slowly losing a grip on her psyche after she foresaw her death. Later she was assigned a mission to end the resurrection of the slave trade on Zygeria. Here she descended even further into madness, thinking she had been betrayed by the very thing she had served her entire life; the Force. However even as so many years had passed since her death, the Sith Lord [member="Darth Carnifex"] resurrected her with his own intentions and ulterior motives.
For a moment, she served as the hand of Kaine, not being able to resist if she wanted to due to the Sith runes he placed on her. However with the help of [member="Sumiko Tanaka"], whom she met through the Ke'dem network, she was able to purge his influence from her mind and follow through with her own intentions. She went to Felucia and killed corrupt natives knowing it would bring her friend Rasu Gan to the planet along with the rest of the Coalition. The presence of the darkside and the visions of the massacre by her hands weighed on the force bond she had with Rasu and it eventually fell apart.
After she was hunted by her former student, [member="Shmi Labooda"], for her crimes. The two engaged in a vicious duel on Vendaxa before [member="Josh DragonsFlame"] intervened. Sochi fought both of them before being apprehended and taken back to the Coalition to stand trial. Before judgment could be passed on her, Midvinter was invaded by the Sith Order. She was given the choice to participate in the defense of Midvinter, and she joined the Silver Sanctum in an effort to repel the invaders. She fought a vicious duel against [member="Darth Voracitos"] and his shadow creatures who sought to enslave the population. Their battle was short lived as she took the opportunity to escape Coalition space.
She had been using Ke'dem contacts and hideouts as way to virtually vanish. Later she took to Korriban to seek answers on the arcane techniques of the Sith to better understand how Kaine had brought her back. She later engaged the Pureblood [member="Vrak Nashar"] who forced her into a duel. After fighting each other to a stalemate, she was captured and tortured by the Sith in an effort to utilize her for his own goals. She eventually escaped and began to track down Kaine in an effort to revenge Iella anD free herself of his existence. She engaged him at the ruin Jedi Temple on Yutan where she fought the most challenging battle she ever had, and despite giving her all she lost the duel and barely escaped with her life.
Her current whereabouts are unknown.

In a dystopian future, where almost all Force-sensitives have been hunted down and exterminated and anyone associated with them are persecuted, Sochi is on the run as a rogue. Having been a few years removed since she faked her death, she was able to survive the initial stages of the war. Stepping out of her quiet existence she had no choice but to join the resistance with the few others who had survived the massacres.
Felucia, which had been her home was one of the first planets to be occupied given its nature and force-sensitivity of its primitive natives. She was able to escape and trek out into the galaxy in search of solace and other survivors. She later came into contact with her former apprentice Shmi Labooda who had been using Exis Temple Station as a staging point for the moment. During the crisis, it had occurred that these were the the focal points of her visions from so long ago.
With the Galaxy completely against them, survival seemed almost impossible.

[+] Togruta Physiology/Jedi Trianing - She is a mature, and athletically built Togrutan female. She hails from a species of natural warriors, placing her endurance, speed and durability higher than most. She is aided by her montrals, given her the ability to detect infra and ultra sound providing her with a built in biological sonar. She can sense the proximity and movement of physical objects around her, bolster her acrobatic fighting style, and hear the heart rate and breathing of other creatures allowing her to monitor the physical conditions of others.
[+] Force Affinity - She experiences a heightened and instinctual communion with her environment. This spiritual connection to the land is due to a extreme connection to the Living Force which allows her to draw natural energy from the environment around her to bolster her own connection to the force.
[-] Minor Spinal Cord Injury - Due to a past incident, she still suffers from a minor spinal cord injury that she got in her youth. Now older, the effects have been more prominent. Lots of erratic movement sometimes causes her to have slight spasms in her lower back, and experience intense pain.
[-] Slight Paranoia - She's been out of the loop for a bit, and given the recent events and constantly being on the run, she has developed paranoia. This often stems from delusions of persecution, and since she often gets plagued by visions of what could possibly happen, she's guarded.

Lightsaber Skills:
- With some of her associates considering her as one of the most accomplished and skilled Jedi of her era, plus her position as a Jedi instructor for years up until her death is a testament to her lightsaber skills. Going through training during a time of war saw her evolve into one of the Orders most accomplished warriors. She has been trained to proficiency in all of the classical lightsaber forms, excluding the seventh, however she favors the Ataru and Makashi forms, mastering them both. This hybrid form plays extremely well on her natural traits, as she blended them both into a form that has an emphasis on speed, agility, fluidity, precision, and balance. Her prowess with acrobatics plays heavily into her fighting style, using numerous acrobatic recoveries and evasions to remain on the move. She uses the energetic form of Ataru to out maneuver her opponents, and the precise thrust and controlled sweeps of Makashi to pierce their lower defenses. She can generate moderate kinetic force when engaged, though her blocks and parries may be sufficient, her preferred route is to dodge attacks and not take them head on. This form was made for her to have superior maneuverability, and when this isn't an option she will struggle to hold out for very long.
