Jedi Enclave
Nadiem
The sun had yet to creep its way over the horizon leaving only its wisps to illuminate the grey sky and peaceful courtyard of the Jedi Enclave. Perspiration ran down his face and neck and his breath showing as white condensate in the cold morning. The silence of the temple was only broken by the thudding of footsteps and a heavy breathing pattern being exhaled by the man as he passed the perimeter entrance and came to a full halt in the main entrance as to let the many defense sub-systems authorize his presence and allow him to proceed inside.

Passing many of the empty meditation chambers and classrooms that would later be filled with the influx of students and teachers alike. Avin Starfire strode down the corridors panting lightly from the morning exercise, speaks of mountain mud still lingered on his shirt from his route of running when the sound of clicking and beeping emitted from one of the sleeping quarters adjacent to his own. The door to the room was outlined by a blue light seeping through the cracks from inside and flashed every so often.

What on earth was anyone else doing up this early?

Avin had yet to meet anyone else with his love of the early morning peace, most people at the academy were more sensible in getting enough sleep to get them through the day although it wasn't uncommon to see a Master awake early for meditation. This was different, however, the door from which the light came had until recently been unpopulated by any master or even Jedi Knight for that matter.

Avin went to clean himself up and shower before making his way back out into the corridor in his normal robed attire only to see the light still on and the sounds from within carrying on. Avin let his curiosity gain the better of himself as he made his way closer to the door.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

The Jedi guardian ran his knuckles over the metallic silver door three times before stepping back to check on whomever else would be awake at such an hour.

The door slid open quickly to reveal a tall civilian male in a brown leather jacket. The man pushed his dark glasses up against his nose and looked at [member="Avin Starfire"] in a casual tone of surprise,

"Yes? Can I help you?"

The man then quickly pulled his new phone out of his jacket pocket and checked the time. Ah. That explains it. Here it was early morning. Yet back on Coruscant it was still early evening. No wonder Avin was confused. Must have been the time change. The poor fellow who had opened the door had only arrived on-world via starship a few hours ago. He hadn't had time to adjust to the change just yet.
