Force-imbued metal provides protection against dark-sided mental attacks, and a Solari Crystal that glows in the presence of dark-sided spirits, strong dark presences and when mental abilities are being used against the wearer, giving them a warning. The Solari crystal's light-side aura and glow may ward off spirits.

Solari crystal has been imbued to glow in the presence of dark spirits or when there is a significant dark-sided presence to act as a warning. As the Solari Crystal has a strong connection to the light-side, it may ward off dark spirits.

Found during an archaeological dig, these amulets are thought to have been worn by practitioners of an ancient religion that worshiped the sun. Originally excavated from what appeared to be a ceremonial space, Master Yves Galen believes that they were worn by their priests or priestesses. The solari crystals set into the silver amulets made these truly special, as this type of crystal can be quite difficult to find. Each amulet was carefully cleaned and restored to its former glory by Master Galen himself.
The amulets are ancient, according to Master Galen. They are fine silver with a sun-shaped pattern and a single solari crystal in the middle. Many of the original silver chains were broken or missing, and have been replaced with modern equivalents. The amulets give off a very subtle orange glow in the dark, that grows even brighter in the presence of dark-sided spirits and when mental abilities are used against the wearer. Even after so much time, the force aura remains quite strong – giving the wearer effective protection against mental abilities and dark influences used against them. As with other Solari crystals, these are attuned to the light-side and cannot be utilized by a wielder of the dark-side.
Though these amulets have been carefully restored, it should be noted that they are fragile and can be subject to damage. The wearer must take care that it is not broken during use. Due to the force-imbuement, the amulet will cease to provide any benefits in the presence of Ysalamir or similar force-nullifying items or environments. The amulet protects against mental attacks, but does not offer any protection against physical attacks, the wearer is still vulnerable to lightsabers, blasters, and kinetic damage.
After such a harrowing experience at the Temple of the Sun, Master Galen presented a talisman to the members of his exploration party as a token of gratitude. He hopes that these amulets will give each of them an edge and protection should the face a similar being of darkness in the future.
