Solo Threads? General Query.

So I have a query (and forgive me if this is a silly question),

The rules state that "Users will not support their own posts with sub-accounts."

I have been toying with the idea of creating a private solo thread, for the purpose of character development and some simple writing exercises. At most the thread would include some characters I make up on my own, either some alts/sub-accounts I haven't touched in forever and just want to flesh out, or even minor characters without their own point of view (so to speak). I could do this on my own, either offline or through a personal blog, and not use the site. But I like it here, and Chaos provides a wonderful vehicle for constructive feedback should anyone read anything I post.

What I am asking is: Is this type of thing frowned upon by the staff, and does it break the rules of the site? I would hate to put work into something and simply have to take it down or be banned, and do not want to step on toes or diminish the essence of this site by breaking its rules, either.

If anybody answers this, let me know if you need me to clarify anything.

Thank you!

The rule (correct me if I'm wrong Red Shirts) is more along the lines of threads wherein public opinion is a factor. For example a staff suggestion poll or something. Don't come in with a sub account backing up what your main account said as if they're written by two different people.

That is what it sounded like to me as well: Opinion/vote padding and the like. Still though, I just wanted to get this cleared up before I invest time into a personal project.
