When the news had reached the slicer's ears that there was going to be another gathering at the Blue Flame, she couldn't help but curse her luck. At the moment, she was too deep in the progress of an experiment to just abandon it. However, that didn't mean she couldn't send one of her companions in her stead. In fact, she sent two.

EL, the first droid she had ever made and Red. He was a surveillance droid originally and that was how she used him. Flying above EL, he took up a position to watch what was going on at the gathering. Any news that might be interesting and who might be present. This was what he was designed for.

The other droid was more protocol but did at least know how to shoot a gun. Only if her master got into trouble though which seemed to happen quite often. If she had emotions, she would have let out a contented sigh because Aren had decided to stay home. Not a chance in the world of her getting into a sticky situation if she didn't leave their home.

None of the patrons questioned why there seemed to be a lone droid taking a seat or one watching them. This was a public place and all entities had the freedom to come and go as they wished. Perhaps they just thought or assumed the two of them needed to plug in and get recharged.

Doing his job, he watched the people and when one man moved to place a note on the board, his camera focused on it, took an image of it, and would pass it along to his master when they returned to her side. After spending about an hour there, they felt they had represented her long enough to go back to their shared flat on Denon.

Upon their return, they gave her what information they had gathered and she smiled as Red showed her the note. Giving him a bit of praise, she felt the need to give this stranger a helping hand. It was clear he was at least an ally since he had been at that bar, so she waited only a little bit longer before leaving to find him.

Felix (The Bloody) Carro Felix (The Bloody) Carro

After getting his food and drink Felix made his way to the bulletin board of the Blue Flame and had written a simple note.

'Help needed to fix droid unsure of type, willing to pay well. Felix.' his signature this flowing massive single line.

He settled him self back down into his seat drinking and eating. No less relaxed than before. Enjoying his food despite it not being what he had ordered.

Not really wanting to take her droids with her, Aren figured she should at least bring Red. He would be able to pick the man out of the crowd, then maybe he could return home. Grabbing her bag of tools, she had the feeling she would be needing them.

It didn't take her very long to reach the Blue Flame and she was allowed in quickly. They didn't even ask for her ID. Of course, if they had, she would have presented a fabricated one so they wouldn't be able to trace her to where she really came from. Either way, it didn't matter and the young woman was inside the bar.

Watching Red, she saw the direction he flew and she followed him. Before arriving at the stranger's table, she walked over to the board where he posted his note and pulled it off. Red hovered just above Felix while she walked over to his table. Setting the note down, she motioned to it as she sat down. Leaning forward, he might notice her tattoo on her upper arm.

"I can help you."

Felix took the sight of the younger woman in as she settled herself down across the table from him. Well sipping his whiskey he let his gaze wander for a moment. Putting his drink down he nodded to her.

“Can you now? What do you know about old model droids? This droid I don't even know its model, maybe it's a protocol, maybe it's a war droid for all I know. You would think I would be better with these sorts of things seeing as.” Felix knocks a fist against his chest getting a hollowish sounding echo out of it. “Can I buy you a drink, Miss?” He finishes speaking letting the question hang.

Without really waiting for her to respond he motions at a server rushing around the bar. His eyes never really stopped searching the faces of the bar, watching for trouble.Almost twitchy.

Aren D'Shade Aren D'Shade

"You want to know what I know about old droids? Here."

Moving slowly, she pulled a holodisk out of her bag. Flipping it on, she would show him her collection of droids. Including EL who was a rather old model herself. She had been pieced together from the parts of various droids and looked rather well made.

"Even if this is a battle droid, they can be programmed to be something else. EL here was one and now she's not."

Luckily Aren had kept some of her old programmings and her companion did know how to shoot a blaster. Mainly she was a protocol and companion droid for Aren. Taking a moment, she searched over Felix and nodded.

"I can also help you with making your body work better if you want. My name is Aren D'Shade. I'll take my usual."

Answering both him and the server when she arrived.

"What are we looking at here?"

Felix (The Bloody) Carro Felix (The Bloody) Carro

"Hmmm, seems like good work Miss D'Shade." Felix says to her and then to the server, "Another whiskey two fingers worth. Her drinks on my bill"

Pulling a holodisk from the folds of his coat he pops ionto the tble turning it on showing the droid to her for the first time. Looking almost like an ancient HK droid.

"What do you think? I wouldn't mind a combat droid ya know, I am slowing down these days. Speaking of what do you think you can help me with?"

It seemed only right he paid for her drinks since he was the one looking to hire her. However, if he couldn't Aren certainly had no issue taking care of her bill. These people knew her, what she liked, and knew she would pay for her order at the end of the night.

Taking a look at the image he presented her, it did look similar to an old HK model but not quite. Bringing her eyebrows together as she looked at it when the drink was set down, she picked it up absentmindedly and took a drink. Setting the glass down again, she accessed the holonet through her connection and searched for known combat droids.

Settling on one that looked closest, she pulled it up on her datapad and handed it back to Felix.

"For making you work better, I can enhance your breathing and even update some of the old programmings you have in your cybernetics. Not to mention a good lube would also help with movement."
