Jate Kar'ta
Mandalorian Avenger
Nar Shaddaa
Corellian Sector
This was one of the stranger jobs she's taken. Being a bounty hunter, Jate Kar'ta's jobs usually are either kill or capture someone or something and get paid for it. This job is a little outside the norm. She is suppose to investigate someone named Sabrina Kotass. Normally she wouldn't take this type of job and stick to what she knew but two things caught her eye. This woman was a Sith, instantly getting Jate's attention. She was also building orphanages across the moon. This struck a strong note in her, being an orphan herself. She remembered when she lost her mother and how horrible and angry she felt. No doubt this Sith, Sabrina Kotass, was building these simply from goodness of her heart (if she had one. Do Sith tear it out during initiation or something?). Her employer had a guess but they needed to see if there was any credibility any rumors that there was something more.
At first there was nothing but rumors: that it was some sort of One Sith education shelter. It made sense but these things were too new to show any trends in records. Her gut told her something was up but she needed something more concrete, more real. Then she decided to do something bold and daring. Something no one without Force Powers would think of doing. To go to the lion's den and confront Sabrina.
Is it suicidal? Most likely but this isn't the first Force Users she killed. She'll come prepared in case things got, and most likely will be, messy. She looked up at the orphanage to see if she was in the right place before she strode inside. She stepped into a lobby and noticed two things instantly. First of all there was the receptionist, some stuck up looking who wore their dress as if it were some military uniform. She was probably in her mid forties but she looked like she can still dish out punishment and handle a blaster. The next thing were the children, or lack there of. There were stairs leading upstairs to what were most likely their rooms but Jate expected children to be out playing in the lobby or see them learning or hear them or something. Heck, now that she thought about it, the place looked awfully clean. Jate would bet money that the receptionist probably had something to do with it. Only one way to find out.
The fiery haired woman stepped up to the counter to try and get the receptionist's attention. "Excuse me?" Jate said, "Is this the orphanage? I don't see any children around."
