Endor:

The forest moon had grown darker of late. The small, furry Ewok people had become restless in the face of this new darkness. it all started when the ship came down from the heavens. It was not the first the Ewoks had seen, but it was the first in a long time that made them fear the outside things. The terrors from other worlds that often found their way to their forest home. The hid in their villages high in the trees, looking down on whatever beasts or travelers went to and from their lands. The trees always kept them safe. But this time, the thing that had landed on Endor was so terrifying that even the trees seemed to bend to it in fear.

At first, the Ewoks had found creatures attacked by this thing. Some left with horrible scars. Other completley ravaged. None, however, were eaten. The remains had been left strewn about the areas, painting the bark and leaves and grass in crimson. But then came the first of their people to be killed. One of the hunters had died while out for a late night scouting. When they found him, he was little more than a husk. The next was an outsider, a traveling Jedi who had come to see some connection to the magic they called "the Force". The beast had taken him within hours of his arrival. The scouts found his remains like the hunters, drained of life and reason. The scouts, however, were the first to actually see this thing in-person.

It walked like a human but was shrouded in darkness. Boney, claw-like hands, and almost floating on the air. When it looked back, they saw a suken, dead thing looking back with eyes of paleness. When it was gone it almost seemed to dissapear into the shadows. Word of this monster spread, and some, especially those of the planet Islimore knew what terror had found its way to Endor: a Voromere.

Alina had arrived on Endor a week ago, drawn by reports of a threat that was hunting the Ewoks and other wildlife. The creatures responsible remained elusive, slipping away before she could catch more than a fleeting glimpse. She began to wonder if they might fear her presence. It wasn't out of the question her alignment with the light was unmistakable, her aura radiating it. But Alina was no Jedi. She could be ruthless and merciless when necessary, especially in defense of life.

She had settled among the Ewoks in one of their tree villages, where they welcomed her arrival with hope. They believed that Alina would be the one to rid them of the creatures that hunted them. Alina quickly grew fond of the furry little beings; their curiosity and childlike nature had stolen her heart. Their trust in her only deepened her resolve to protect them. She had resolved to hunt during the night, she reasoned it would be the most likely time they would be willing to face her, emboldened by a shroud of darkness. So for now as the sun set, she sat among the Ewoks, listening to their songs and sharing their food.

By the time the sun was setting, another ship had landed on the forest moon. A small craft enough for one. The one in question was the fiery-haired woman who strolled out among the dense woods in the darkness. The only light was from her craft. Nothing but blackness and the standing sentinels of trees as far as she could see. Endor already had such a strange but vibrant aura to it, but that was now tainted by whatever beast was terrorizing the natives.

Ygra had heard tale of the creature from a group of gossipers at a cantina in the Jakku system, where she had been in search of long dead Imperial relics. The talk of this mysterious creature interested her deeply. So, taking the best shuttle she could find, the mystic Zelosian made her way to the little green orb to find it for herself.

After an initial look about the landing zone, Ygra called forth her small ID9 droid, Seek. The four-armed droid hovered around her in the area,, it's red eye spinning from one direction to the next. It scanned and gave an initial deep and whizz.

"No sign of it?" she asked, getting whirling sound reply. "Alright then. Try looking about the initial area. I'll set things up here. But you be careful Seek. The minute you spot anything, fly back here at once."

The droid gave an almost saluting motion before flying off. For about a mile it continued to scan for any signs of the Voromere. Instead, it found nothing but local fauna scurrying or squawking upon seeing it. But then Seek noticed lights coming from above in the treetops. Cautiously, it floated up and began to peer into one window and the next to see who or what was inside.

Alina descended from the Ewok village just as the last rays of light began to fade. A few of the fuzzy little creatures tugged at her, trying to convince her to stay, but she gently reassured them before continuing her descent to the forest floor. Beneath the canopy of the towering trees, the darkness was even more pronounced, wrapping around her like a thick shroud the kind of all encompassing darkness her quarry would be comfortable in.

Alina withdrew her lightsaber and ignited it, the golden blade cutting through the sea of shadows. At the same time, she extended her senses through the Force, reaching out to feel for any signs of danger. She gathered the Force in her legs and arms, preparing to enhance her movement, every muscle primed and ready. The blade's light barely pierced the darkness but that wasn't its purpose anyways

Just above her, the droid followed the mysterious Force user through the canopy of the trees. Anytime she might have looked up or in the general area where Seek may have been, it was quick to hide behind a trunk or branch while dimming its lights.

Not too far, Ygra began to sense something herself. The Force seemed to be bending with the footsteps of another. Was this the beast? Possibly. But without Seek back to help she decided to see for herself. She took her cloak and wrapped it around her for the slight chill in the air. Her blade was tucked underneath. And she grabbed a flashlight to see what little good it provided as she began to follow the sense of the Force into the woods.

Alina's senses were heightened as she extended them outward through the Force, feeling the subtle movements all around her. The soft hum of her lightsaber was a constant presence, blending with the background noise of the forest moon. Suddenly, she sensed something stirring nearby a disturbance in the Force. She began moving toward it, her instincts guiding her.

While she didn't sense an immediate threat, there was something else wandering in the darkness. If they were also hunting the creature, working together might be beneficial. Every move was purposeful and precise, caution.
