Now that the pure cortosis had been brought down to a more workable level he used tongs to remove the fresh cortosis as he did not want to harm himself in case it was dangerous in this inpure form. He then added the pure form of cortosis to the rest of the melted down armor. Slowly and making sure not to spill he moved it to a refiner and smelter to form pure ores and remove impurities from armor damage and other materials that may have mixed into the armor over time. This process was going to take a while.
He then made his way to two bucket filled with Phrik and a the other with armorplast, both of which he had recently obtained for this project. He had been studying a method of making an armor called Quantum-Crystalline that was meant for ships or so he thought. What intrigued him was how it was made. It was the stacking of atoms so close together that any closer and you would be breaking the laws of physics. This intrigued Lanax the the point that it begged the question, "Why not try it with body armor?" While he was sure with these materials he could not make it as strong, why not give it a try?
He, as a forceless human, could not make something on an atom level, he had developed a machine that had a computer processor able to work at the level of atoms. He loaded the machine with Phricks and Armorplast where it would spend a few days making one then layer and another thin layer of each material. While he could only do a few layers or else it would become more armor than clothing his hope was that this would make a clothing stronger than this Galaxy had seen before and only time would tell. His cortosis would not be ready until the next morning so Lanax decided it was now time to get some sleep.
