Sometimes it's just a bad idea.

Darth Sicarius

Sicarius moved his way into the ring, a hand on the hilt of his saber. Today was a new day, a day to try something new, probably dangerous, and most likely painful. Today he was going to fight against a Sith Lord one on one. The knight gripped his blade harder, frowning at the thought. Even though the area was empty and provided a level playing field, the Darth knew he was most likely going to get beaten.

But he certainly wasn't going to go down without a fight. He removed the hilt of his blade and activated the blood black saber, holding it aloft. Today was a test of his own might.

Christian made his way through the complex without a word to anyone. He'd been specifically requested to train with one of their rising you young Sith, which he wasn't all that excited about. He was a Lord of the Council, and if that wasn't enough to worry about, he had a business in Slade Industries to attend to. Casinos needed to be managed, and he had three of them now. He had plenty to occupy his time.

He made time for the others, however, which was next to nothing to begin with. This occassion, though, having been specially requested was something that he wasn't going to miss.

Making his way into the ring, Christian stopped, rolled his shoulders and let his jacket slide off of his arms and to the floor. Withouth a word, he began walking towards the young Sith before him without a word, veering off to his left and encircling the man as he sized up his opponent, but still he didn't speak.

Darth Sicarius kept himself quiet, still. He didn't turn his head to follow @[member="Christian Slade"], simply feeling the mans presence. Sicarius was not foolish enough to make the first move, not yet at least. So he gripped his saber in his one hand, slowly flexing the other. His statue was calm, collected, prepared. His muscles were tense, ready to spring outwards.

The force built around his limbs, slowly creating an aura. Whether it was a barrier or a burst of speed was yet to be seen, but Sicarius was ready. Lord or not, he would give the man a run for his money.

Christian continued to circle the man a few times until on one rotation he was directly behind him. All of a sudden, Christian kicked up his leg and threw the bottom of his boot out towards the middle of the man's back, intent on planting it firmly there to throw him forward and off balance.

He had no expectations of actually landing the straight forward kick, but it would make his opponent move, which was what he needed to see before he actually fought the man.

Sicarius moved, but not forward. His figure let out a burst of Force, projecting his body upwards and backwards, soaring over @[member="Christian Slade"]'s figure. His red blade flashed out only once on his flight, cutting down for the mans head in a blur of black and blood. The Darth would land softly, already moving again, never still, constantly shifting his form around. He bounced lightly on his toes, the Force building up around his figure. A single emotion was given out from his form. A single thought.

Kill.

Christian watched the man, tracing every step he made with those careful eyes he had. He moved his head in a blur of motion as the other Sith's saber dipped down and missed him entirely. He then slowly turned and watched as his opponent darted back and forth, never stopping, never standing still.

He was quick, and might very well prove a challenge for his eyes to keep up with, but he was more then fast enough. The next place Christian saw the man move, his eyes finally caught a pattern. He blinked those amber eyes and finally, he vanished. He did not chase the man, not, he appeared in his intended path, a large, balled up fist raised above his head and being swung downward towards the ground, hoping that his timing was right so that he could strike and lay the man out across the ground beneath his force enhanced slam.

Sicarius never moved in a pattern unless he was trapping his foe. The sheer fact that @[member="Christian Slade"] moved in his path caused a glimmer of excitement to form from the Darths form. He didn't stop his current track, instead he brought his own fist around. He couldn't stop from being caught in Christian's attack, but he could still launch one of his own.

His empty palm shot outwards, sending a blast of Force only meant to rapidly expand. He was caught beneath the slam, falling to the ground beneath it's power, but hopefully his own attack would lessen the blow to him.

Christian felt the man crumble beneath his fist as he slammed him into the ground, but he wasn't ready for the force push that caught him after he followed through with his attack. He wasn't sure how Sicarius had been able to react so quickly as fast as Christian was moving to catch him crossing paths, but he had.

The force push caught and threw the Sith Lord, but he controlled his fall through the air, turning a backlip and colliding with a far wall, which his feet met as his body squatted down and launched back in the opposite direction. Christian's form then darted through open air, back in the direction of Sicarius and where he'd been slammed. Turning over through the air, Christian reached out his right knee ready to plant it in the middle of Sicarius back if he were too slow to move.
