"I'm sorry, I don't know any better I don't know how to control these...These urges." He would say softly to the lifeless corpse in front of him. His eyes would flash from blue to brown. His claws would recede back into his hands. His hunger had been quenched. Every time he took a life, he felt guilty, he wasn't supposed to kill people, he was supposed to save them. He rose from the ground and wiped his face, the tears were gone now. The teen tried to rub out some of the wrinkles on his tee shirt. His sabre hung at his side. He had only used it once or twice in a battle situation.

He walked out of the alleyway, flipping the collar on his shirt to block the bite that turned him. October started to walk down the street, he hated Coruscant, too many people, too many smells, too man things that could throw him off or into some rage.

He pushed through a crowd, keeping his gaze down until he found a small diner. "Time to find a way off this forsaken planet." He would mutter to himself softly as he entered and sat at an empty booth.

The waitress walked over to him, he smiled, she asked what he wanted. "Sorry, I'm not too hungry, but I'll take a water..." The woman nodded and walked to make him water.

Anika honestly couldn't say why she was on Coruscant. Though after you've sort of time traveled in a way, I guess it made sense that you'd want to see what the old places looked like again. It felt nice for her to see life again. Being trapped in capsules throughout the years, helped her none. She wasn't sure what she was doing at the moment except for walking around and looking at almost nothing. It seemed like wherever she went she walked down one road and the next moment, she collapsed into a vision of what happened back then and she remembered everything. Which was exactly what happened.

She witnessed one of her captures during the Clone Wars. Anika remembered that it was always the same people putting her in the capsule. They were always working for that company or whatever they were working for, transformed into. Watching this capture, she remembered the pain and the agony she was in and felt it as she watched herself in the vision being taken away.

All of a sudden she snapped out of it and stood up off of the ground. Luckily where she fell, the ground was dry and at least somehow clean and somehow her outfit and hair were still good and clean. Adjusting her leather jacket, she decided that she was going to get something to drink to clear her mind, so she went over to the local diner and walked inside. She sensed something familiar.. it was the force.. but where?? Following the presence, it led to a boy who sat at one of the tables. Walking over to the table, she decided to introduce herself.

"Hi.. I'm Anika."

she said, holding out her hand.

The diner's smell was... Unsettling, it made him feel a bit homesick. Sometimes he longed to go back to his normal life. October should be almost sixteen now, yet he looked fourteen and he hated it, of course he didn't let it show, he never let one person see him for longer than a set of years. People would notice something. His blue collared shirt began to wrinkle at the base October fixted it again. A second later someone new entered the diner.

Without looking up a he would feel a force presence. He'd turn his head just as a girl stuck out her hand and introduced herself. She said her name was Anika. October waved her hand away, not out of spite, but people were usually freaked out at how cold his hands were, to him first impressions were everything. The teen smiled, his brown eyes shimmered. "Why don't you sit down Anika, oh I'm October..." The Energy Vampire would say. He looked down to his necklace for a second.

The necklace helped him calm when he got stressed, when he felt his feeding urges get to him. There was nothing special about it, just a wolf head made of silver. October took a sip of his water.

October fixed his lightsabre making sure it was ready just in case things went bad.

The kid looked young. They seemed about the same age and sensing him through the force, she could tell that he was probably about a year younger than herself. As she put her hand out, she realized he waved it away.. maybe he didn't like touching people?? She didn't know, but Anika could tell it wasn't to be rude. Being locked in chambers all these years, somehow gave her her own little icy touch.

As he looked up at her, he smiled at her and she returned the smile. He then invited her to sit down.

"Thank you. It's a pleasure to meet you, October."

she responded in a calm and friendly tone. She noticed his hand move towards his saber and she gave a slight nod. She understood his hesitance. Anika saw his necklace and wondered about it, but said nothing. Instead before she could say anything, a waitress came over to the table with a water for October and looked over to see his new company. She asked what Anika wanted and she responded.

"Just a soda please."

she responded. As the waitress went back to the kitchen to get a soda for her, Anika looked back to October and gave a small smile.

October watched as the waitress came back to the table with his water. Noticing the new arrival the waitress asked Anika if she wanted anything and Anika just asked for a soda. The woman nodded before scampering back to the counter to make her drink. October looked at the girl across him, she seemed nice, probably one of the few people to ever be nice to October since his change.

She didn't seem offended at all when he rejected her handshake. He was relieved at that. The teen began to sip some of his water. He touched his necklace as he thought of something to say. He wasn't one for conversation but he would try. He was never good at it. Never had any practice because people tent to avoid you when your eyes glow blue and your fangs stick out. Sure Energy Vampire's weren't the worst thing in the galaxy but people still didn't like abnormal

He released his necklace and watched as the waitress came back with the girl's soda. October would stare at the carbonation bubbles as they rose to the top of the glass, the condensation on the glass , it intrigued him. He took a small breathe as he released his sabre and brought it up to the table.

"What brings you to this dump?" He'd say softly as he stared into his own water, he counted the ice cubes over and over in his head attempting to keep calm as he waited for a response.

Luckily for Anika, being stuck with a Sith for how many centuries in a capsule, didn't make her insane or crazy. She was unsure of what to talk about though. As the waitress went off to get Anika's drink, she waited patiently. She had been waiting to see the human race again and at least she was able to talk to someone again. October seemed very nice, despite his shyness. Or what seemed to her as shyness. Anika herself was shy, but who could blame her? She hadn't seen another soul in years upon years.

She watched as he touched his necklace while drinking some water. It was a simple necklace, but she liked it. While he was thinking, she was as well, trying to figure out how to create a conversation with him. Before she could say anything again, Anika's glass of soda was brought to her as she took a sip. She was very thirsty and at least soon enough, he said something. He asked her why she was there. She really had no other choice but to tell him the truth.

"Well.. this may seem crazy, but I haven't seen humanity in centuries. Literally. I'm not sure how I got here of all places, but it's nice to see life again."

she responded, trying to keep it between just the two of them. After responding, Anika took another drink or two of her soda and waited for his response.

October smiled as she started to drink the soda, he watched as it went down a bit before she spoke. The boy took a sip of water and nearly spit it out when Anika said she hadn't seen humanity in centuries. The teen tilted his head and looked her up and down with his brown eyes. He was confused, there was no way she was centuries old. She couldn't be an energy vampire could she? No he would've known somehow right? He shook his head and looked at her in disbelief.

"Centuries....You must be joking, there's no way that's possible" he would say after he swallowed the water. He felt hunger creep into him again. His mind began to race. 'what, I just fed.... There's no way I should be hungry again...' he thought to himself. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. When he recollected his thoughts he opened them again.

He began to count the ice cubes again over and over. '1...2....3...4...5...6...7...1...2...3...4...5...6...7' mouthing each number as he went. He cleared his throat. "Well if you're getting re-aquainted with humanity, why talk to some kid in some sleezy diner?" He said with a grin. Numbers kept running in his mind.

October's reaction to her saying that she was centuries old, was priceless. Anika wondered what the reaction would be to that and apparently it was exactly what October did while he was drinking water. She saw his confusion and she hoped she hadn't frightened him. She herself was still a 17 year old in her heart, but her mind was wise with everything she had bee through.

"Well, I can assure you, I'm not joking. It all started during the Clone Wars. You know those cryopods? I was fighting a darksider that day and we have both been shoved into the pod somehow. He and I had been reawakened a few times, going to the end of the Clone Wars and during the Old Republic. Now I'm here. Each time we were awakened, we fought, but when we were in sleep, we fought mentally. I still have scars from it all. From the Clone Wars and forward."

she responded. Only the Sith knew what she had been through because he went through it with her. Looking to October, something seemed off, but she didn't say anything. Instead, hearing what he said, she laughed.

"Not sure.. I guess the force drew me to you."

she said. Anika didn't know how she was drawn to October, but it was obviously for a reason that she had to find out.

The girl assured him that it was all true, except that she wasn't an Energy Vampire like the fanged teen thought. He let out a small breathe before sipping his drink again. She talked about how she was alive during the Clone Wars but was put into Cryostasis by a Sith, she awoke periodically throughout time. This amazed the teen whether it was a lie or not, he didn't care it was still a cool story.

October watched as the ice cubes in his empty cup slowly melted. "You've been though a lot then..." She had answered his question saying that the force had just drawn her to him. October pondered for a second. He didn't really want to reveal that he is an Energy Vampire or else she'd leave and try to avoid him like everyone else did.

"That's odd....But cool I guess." He would respond as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

He closed his eyes for a second. Hunger hunger hunger, thought kept popping up. Memories of his father brink killed by the vampire that turned him. He felt his claws start to appear, he quickly closed his hands and put them under the table hoping she didn't notice. He felt the claws pierce his skin and he took a sharp breath. He kept counting in his brain as he looked to the girl.

"So if you were fighting a darksider, does that make you a Jedi?" He asked with a smile. His palms were still closed tightly under the table.
