SPECIAL FEATURES
- The armor itself contains no technological enhancements.
- Force Imbued to enhance natural/force speed ten fold and provides battle precognition.
- Lightsaber Resistance: Made entirely with songsteel, the armor proves difficult to cut for lightsabers and similarly cut weapons, and can sustain many strikes from energy based weaponry that thanks to its material it becomes a lethal shield for the weapons of Force users. metal plates are on your chest, back, gauntlets, wrists, forearms, shoulders, helm, thighs, knees and feet where they provide your greatest resistance against this type of weapon.
- Blaster Resilience: Thanks to the properties of songsteel, metal has been proven to have properties similar to those of phrik and cortosis where it absorbs energy attacks thrown at it, such as that of blasters and their derivatives. The weapon, when hit, makes a metallic noise that its forge masters call ‘song’, the origin of where its name would be. Its parts in the joints covered by the Akk Dogs' leather guarantee this protection, at least for a while against certain types of weapon firing, but it can prove difficult to continue withstanding damage.
- Spikes: In your forearms are two small spikes made of songsteel, forged there for both defense and offensive.
- Force Imbued: The runes and glyphs behind your steel were made with your user's abilities in mind. In order to increase these same abilities in battle, they were empowered with the ability to increase their natural speed tenfold than they actually have, but this ability needs constant 'charging', where all the damage suffered by any damage from energy makes the steel of the songsteel absorb the impact and turns that energy into something that the user can use to activate that power. Additionally, glyphs from a different spell have been placed on your helmet, these give the user a perpetual and sharpened Battle Precognition ability, but instead of using the same energy as that which powers their enhanced speed, this ability sucks in the energy of the user and increases its strength five times.
- Force Imbued: Although the weapon can be 'recharged' by conventional and unconventional means such as being energized directly, it can run out of energy and thus lose its natural ability. Forcing its user to be drained in the battle to sustain this ability or to lose and deal with the consequences. Even more so if he is letting the armor drain his energy to use both abilities of the armor.
- Resistances: DuraArmor although resistant to blasters and derivatives, it is not eternal and is worn away with the constant damage suffered. These areas being the upper parts of the arms, armpits, groin and neck, all vital areas in any battle.
- Short sight: The helmet, although powerful, has a limited field of view, without technological improvement it can only see what is ninety degrees in front of it and nothing else. With DuraArmor on its gorge for protection, moving your head back is not an easy thing to do and makes it limited.
- Feathers: Although combined with force speed and force jump the feathers give the user and ‘flight’ viewers a feeling, they do the opposite, they can get stuck and curl anywhere easily.
- Hangoover: The effects of this ability after being used in battle cause great physical tiredness in the body and mind, the user needs a lot of rest and rest, if not a beautiful night in a bacta tank.
- EMP: Armor lacks any gadget and therefore has no EMP defense, or even a comlink attached to it.
- Heat: The greatest weakness to wearing any armor made of metal, is the potential vulnerability to heat. While the armor will provide protection from exposure to heat, the moment the songsteel itself increases in temperature the person wearing the armor will feel it, the higher the temperature the armor is exposed to over sustained periods of time, the more the person underneath it will be wounded. Sustained contact with a lightsaber, for example, may actually burn the person in the armor after the songsteel has heated. Flamethrowers and pyrotechnics in general pose a large threat to anyone wearing this armor after a certain period of time, which could prove a real menace for the user.
- Eyes: Like said before, the helm provides limited vision and also provides a open way for shards and shrapnel to harm the eyes of the wearer.
When Lunafreya graduated from the Academy of Balance in Kaikielius and became what many would define a Dark Jedi Master / Gray Jedi Master, her father, King Iedolas Aldercapt Solidor started for her the forge of what would become one of her many personal treasures. Using all the means at his disposal in his company, as well as his own mystical skills, he forged for her an armor unmatched in the galaxy. To show his status as a member of the Royal House of Solidor he ensured that it was forged with a precious and rare metal, the Songsteel.
After being forged, the father only gave his daughter his gift when she had earned her place as one of the 'Judges' of her reign. Adorning it with the armor affectionately dubbed 'Song of Feathers', Lunafreya Solidor has become a threat to be recognized by his enemies. Swift and lethal as a snake, princess elzeri would one day be nicknamed Lunafreya the Varactyl.
