PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Sor-Jan is a short boy with curly blonde hair, blue eyes, and a dusting of freckles on his face. He stands around four feet tall and is rather slim, despite being hungry most of the time. He often wears simple spacers clothes and carries a standard B-103 sentry blaster pistol.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Most would describe Sor-Jan as outgoing and adventurous, brave but perhaps a bit reckless. He is prone to wander and explore, often stirring up some kind of trouble or another. Usually, though, Sor-Jan can handle the problems he faces. He's resourceful and determined, and when it comes down to it, downright weasley.
His allegiances are to his family first, the Miyuki Trade League second, and the Wild Space Republic third. Sor-Jan is more skeptical of people the farther they hail from his stomping grounds, but he’s willing to give people the benefit of the doubt - usually.
STRENGTHS
- Wild Space MacGyver: Sor-Jan is incredibly handy, making use of ordinary objects to get himself out of stick situations.
- Republic Engineering: The galactic south is full of dated ship models, many of which lack knowledgeable engineers to maintain or upgrade them. Sor-Jan is one of the few tinkerers who can manage old Republic tech.
- Fun Size: Others make poke fun at Sor-Jan’s size, but he knows how to use it to get out of trouble. He’s quite good at slipping into tight spaces to break pursuits and line of sight.
- Something to Prove: Sor-Jan gets into more trouble than he's worth sometimes just to prove himself worthy. He's not above asking for help, but Sor-Jan will exhaust every avenue of escape before he phones a friend.
- Manners? I Hardly Know Her: Growing up in the rough and tumble of Wild Space imparts a wide skillset, but like many in the Republic remnant, Sor-Jan struggles to fit in with the privileged people of the Core Worlds.
- Space Wizards: Sor-Jan’s newly realized heritage is more trouble than he realizes; he’s not a Jedi like his ancestors, but that’s not going to stop vengeful space wizards from investigating him.
Sor-Jan Skywalker is local of the remote planet Eadu in the Wild Space Republic. He is a curious and adventurous spacer. From a young age, Sor-Jan has been drawn to the mysteries of salvage and discovery, a passion undoubtedly influenced by his adoptive parents, who are experienced spacers employed by the Miyuki Trade League. Growing up amidst tales of interstellar travel and trade, Sor-Jan developed a deep-seated desire to explore the unknown.
Life aboard the Wild Space Republic’s Galaxy Tree station has its ups and downs. Originally built as part of an outreach program of the now-defunct Republic, the station primarily serves as a multipurpose spacer facility for travelers and merchants. Citizens of the Wild Space Republic call the Galaxy Tree home, including Sor-Jan’s family. As employees of the Miyuki Trade League, Sor-Jan’s parents, Rainor and Arla Cordo, make frequent trips from their homestead on stormy Eadu to the Republic station. They represent Miyuki in trade deals, hyperlane mapping expeditions, and freighter convoys, leaving Sor-Jan to his own devices on the Galaxy Tree.
He spends most of his days navigating the rugged terrains of Eadu, listening to spacer stories aboard the Galaxy Tree, or venturing into the perilous regions of the galaxy’s edge alongside the Wild Space Republic. However, recent revelations about his past have stirred an insatiable curiosity within him, prompting a quest to unravel the secrets of his origins. Determined to uncover the truth, Sor-Jan sneaked away from the Galaxy Tree to search for pieces of his legendary ancestry. He didn't get far, however, before a mysterious and hostile organization discovered his presence: the Unblessed.
Sor-Jan was lucky enough to survive the encounter, having been rescued by Wild Space Republic scouts on the frontier, but he is adamant about returning to his search for answers no matter how treacherous.
