Modified AA-1 VerboBrain Processor - Much like their sister units the N6-HRD, each DX-HRD comes with a modified AA-1 VerboBrain Processor. Where as those equipped in the N6 are designed to aid in the handling of vast amounts of informational input, those in the DX are designed with multiple combat scenarios and tactics that run at all times to ensure that the DX is capable of executing its assigned programming.
Tactical Adaptation - The DX is capable of learning from its combat experience and the tactics used by enemies against it in the field of battle. This ensures that the unit is capable of meeting a multitude of challenges in a variety of ways.
Command Protocols - Each DX has a series of command protocols that are installed to ensure that the unit does not turn against specific friendly units. In this case, those are Sorenn-Syrush Industries, the Free Worlds Coalition, the Commenor Systems Alliance, and the Metal Lords.

- Modified AA-1 VerboBrain Processor - Much like their sister units the N6-HRD, each DX comes with a modified AA-1 VerboBrain Processor. - Tactical Adaptability - The DX is capable of learning from its combat experience and the tactics used by enemies against it in the field of battle.
- Durability - The DX is constructed from heavier metals often used in the production of Starfighters. These metals ensure that the DX is capable of continued operation in the field even after sustaining heavy damage. While its joints are relatively weak in comparison, its head, torso and limbs are capable of withstanding heavy slugthrower rounds and direct hits from laser blasters. However, heavy ordinance, high yield blaster bolts and specialty rounds (such as explosive or anti-armor) can still tear through the DX.
..:: Weaknesses ::..
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Non-Shielded - A high strength burst from an Ion weapon or other such EMP or Ion device can immediately shut down the unit.
- Shut off - At the base of the skull, just where it meets the neck, is were the Diatium power cell of the unit is located. A skilled marksman or a lucky shot to this region will result in rupturing the power cell causing a localized explosion which can potentially kill or otherwise harm those individuals in close proximity.
- Inhumanity - Unlike its N6 sister unit, the DX lacks the Positronic Human Behavioral Programming, meaning that it can not at any time act as though it were a human being. This causes it to have limited or otherwise lacks the understanding of human based thought and other such characteristics that are unique to humans.
- Joint Failure - While the DX is designed to fill a combat roll, its joints are not as durable as its other portions. If damaged they can easily be severed, placing the unit in peril or otherwise compromising its ability to execute its orders.

..:: Description ::..
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With the introduction of the N6-HRD as a primary Protocol Droid, Sorenn-Syrush Industries looked to other sectors of its corporation that required additional or otherwise substantial reinforcement and aide.
Introducing the Sorenn-Syrush Industries DX-HRD War Droid.
Purely designed to serve in a more combat role, the DX-HRD was constructed and programmed to fill in and supplement already standing corporate security forces or other military units. Each unit is programmed with up to date information in military tactics, commands, and structure to ensure that it is capable of filling those designated roles that it may be placed in without any disruption to the command structure. However, while it is designed for this role, it is not without its weaknesses. The DX is not equipped to handle ion fire nor is it shielded from EMP attacks, likewise the location of its Diatium power pack is rather exposed, being located at the base of its skull; meaning that it is easy to shut down a unit.
Its primary strengths fall within its capability to adapt to its situation and learn from its experiences like any soldier that survives a combat situation. Even if the unit is destroyed, its data can be recovered and shared with other units so that those DX-HRDs can learn from the experience of the destroyed unit in hopes that they will not be felled by the same tactics.
