A massive Sullustan corporation, SoroSuub's central business venture is mineral processing. The company has numerous divisions and subdivisions, however, undertaking everything from energy mining to food packaging. SoroSuub's technology divisions develop weapons of every type, starships and vehicles, droids, communications devices, and virtually anything else the galaxy requires.
Rationale:
While SoroSuub rose to modern prominence through the efforts of dedicated professionals like Eora Nunb, it was not until former mining foreman Admiral Siev Tevv assumed the mantle of CEO that the company fully aligned itself as a chief production branch of the Galactic Alliance.
Siev retired from his position early on in the war with the First Order, and for a time the seat was left vacant as powers were distributed more evenly throughout the Executive Board. After the old Alliance's fall during which Mandalorians raided the megacorp's production centers, SoroSuub's dire financial predicament led to a rise once more in sentiment for a singular guiding force.
Siev's younger cousin and maverick director Miel Tevv was tapped to fill that role as one of the youngest Chief Executive Officers in recent company history. After consulting with Nubia for several years Tevv has resumed his leadership position on the homeworld.

SoroSuub employs roughly half the population of the planet Sullust, which gives natives a strong sense of loyalty to the industry brand. The Sullustan work ethic is often said to be derived from this centuries long partnership between corporate and civil interests.
Utilizing Sullust's vast geothermal potential and volcanic activity to enhance factory productivity, SoroSuub dwarfs neighboring competitors in sheer output alone.
The corporation has seen many political allies rise and fall. After a period of reconstruction and relative isolationism the Sullustan megacorp has petitioned for Trade Federation member status.
