[member="Patricia Susan Garter"] Like I said before, I was incrementing. Razor took it from 16k to 100k, then a quarter of a million to 1 million. I was trying to match his bids with albeit large but not equal bids. Typically that's what is done in auctions especially with high bidders, no?

I have no issues with you having the money, or making bids. However, if you get them from faction funds, there is to things to remember: a large bid like that makes a solid dent in a factions income, and likely would come with repurcussions especially on something like this. Also that unless the leader, you would only have a small access.

That being said, [member="Patricia Susan Garter"] has made it explicit that these are IC bids. Zaiden is the kind to go to extremes. What you are doing is seemingly OOC only.

I have no issue with you bidding 50 mil. In the past a date with [member="Taeli Raaf"] has gone for 36mil, an event ship, and an AI. But it just got there organically by one upping the other. When someone drops that kind of cheddar in one go it makes other bidders more skeptical on That bid and OOC bleeds into the IC auction. You're new here so it's all good, we wanna work our way up to crazy amounts of money. I'll get a chart

But to answer your question, I do believe [member="Razor Shot"] meant it's characteristic of Zaiden to bid that much ICly, but your reasons to bid that much seem purely OOC.

Galvens intentions here are just as much related to his ambitions for the future, even though he has killed his friends and families to secure his position it is the future that holds 'the promise land.' The Many Out Way The Few, and the woman to bid on is a glimpse of his humanity smashing him in the face.

If that's not what you meant, sorry man, brain is all clouded.

Otherwise my reasoning for major overbidding was 1. I misread the rules thing we weren't supposed to uber jump the jump. 2. He was really being a killjoy and wanting to kill other bidders, which bears no fun.
