Space Chess! strategy game

Executorbridge_zpsa5lw0fv4.jpg

Later after the space war Nomkneer had with Gir Quee made him think that he needed more tactical strategies for both space and land, being a sith acolyte put walls in his way towards his goal. He needed to find the right candidate who would willingly help the kaleesh learn this and have the patience to do this. Nomkneer has been general of Atrisia for about one year and a half, his found pet the akillian beast, not been named yet for some reason, had grown much since he found the poor cub.

It grew into a strong beast, can use telekinesis as a rookie but he is learning thanks to his animal instincts, barely semi-sentient beings that look like advanced thin apes, magnificent. More to the matter Nomkneer searched and seeked help from his closest allies in the One sith, [member="Lord Mythos"] was there to lend him a hand, he changed the direction of his journey towards the Grand Sith General. The best general in the one sith, even if it would cost some credits his teachings would be worth while the price so that the general of atrisia can learn from the best one there is.

Nomkneer made contact and with the help of Lord Mythos and talked to [member="Isamu Baelor"], he asked for teachings in strategy both land and spacial warfare and the kaleesh was surprised he accepted with much anxiousness, maybe the general wanted a fresh brain to deposit some of his greatest lessons. It is unknown but the opportunity was given and Nomkneer took it immediately. He went off towards Isamu Baelor and landed on a One sith Star destroyer that Isamu Baelor was at the time. as he walked in the kaleesh went straight to the command room to meet and greet Isamu.

Nomkneer is not one to show emotions or feelings, but his anxiousness towards his future teachings would show in his eyes behind his new mask. He shaked hands and spoke to the point, short words.

"I want to learn new strategies, you are the best, please teach me"

Isamu Baelor stood on the command deck, aboard the Unbreakable. He gazed through the view-port, into the infinite expanse of the universe laid bare before him. It was calm, and serene. No matter how steeped in war the galaxy was, in most places, nothing was happening. At the behest of Lord Mythos, the Unbreakable had made an unscheduled stop, so as to pick up a passenger. A Kaleesh general, serving under the King of Atrisia. Isamu's stargazing was soon interrupted by an officer. He approached the Grand General, and saluted. "Sir, General [member="Nomkneer"]'s shuttle has boarded." The stoic Hand turned his head, and gave a subtle nod in acknowledgement. With a second salute, the officer removed himself from Isamu's presence to collect their guest.

The Artisian General was soon brought to the command deck. Even without the force, Isamu could feel the anxiousness exuded from the Khaleesh. The general extended his hand in greeting, to which Isamu reciprocated, and they shook. Nomkneer was quick to the point, and hastily requested guidance from the Hand of the Dark Lord. A subtle shrug came from Isamu. "We begin now." he said. "First: do not pander." The Grand General said with a blunt tone, in response to the compliment. "It is unbecoming of a general." The two generals took leave from the viewport, and approached a nearby terminal. As they walked, Grand General Baelor questioned the Khaleesh on past experience. "You're a general of Artisia. I assume you must know something. What do I have to work with?"

Nomkneer would stand focused on Isamu' words as his seriousness and fortified attitude would show just how much experience he has in this game we call war. When asked questions about experience being the general of Atrisia, he wasn't completely sure what to say, he had been general for a short time although he has gained alot of experience and and wise lessons. He took a few seconds to go through his mind to find the correct answer for Isamu' questions.

"I have been general for a year or maybe a bit more, i have had experience commanding large troops of field combat and spacial too. I am a natural strategist specially in near death situations, on top of it all my first spacial war was months ago, i led two star destroyers to victory, but i have too much to learn as i am just a new leaf"

He had spoken with all honesty, he wasn't going to say he knew a lot, his honesty made him who he is as he does not have to hide anything behind the wall of shame. He wanted Isamu to know that he is just new fresh meat waiting to be tendered to perfection, he would wait still looking forward towards Isamu, waiting for his response and the type of lesson he will teach Nomkneer.

"i know you have heard some things of me, but dont let expectations of a genius meet your eyes, if i was, i wouldn't have come here to learn from one"

As the Khaleesh General spoke, the picture became clear for Isamu. [member="Nomkneer"] was pup, nothing more. The Hand was bewildered. How could someone so green be raised to General so quickly? It was yet another entry into the book Lord Mythos: A career of dubious decisions. Ever the optimist, the Grand General chose to take comfort in that the Artesian General was a blank-slate. He would not have to undo damage caused by The Warrior King. "It's not an issue. I never expected a genius." Isamu said, his boorish personality shining brightly.

The two generals stopped at the terminal, and Isamu motioned to a seat. "Sit." He ordered. The Hand of The Dark Lord took seat opposite the Khaleesh. "Were it up to Lord Mythos, the One Sith Army would rush head-long into battle, brandishing those absurd axes, without any concern for strategy." Isamu grimaced. "Madness. Madness and stupidity." The Grand General pushed a button, and the holo-terminal came to life. "It's one matter to say you're a natural strategist. It's another to prove it." With the press of another button, the holographic display morphed into a chess-board. "Make your move." Isamu said, as he threw the young general into his first test.

Nomkneer would shut and listen, anything that came out of the mouth of the grand general was inevitably true. The kaleesh may have some aggressive instincts but his outwitted strategies in the darkest of situations is what led him to survive. Nomkneer was partly confused as to why the grand general would tell him to take a seat.

"of course"

With much respect the kaleesh took a seat eager to learn from the master of tactics. [member="Isamu Baelor"] was that and more of Nomkneers expectations, his simple yet serious behavior towards all situations showed his experience with grave situations. The grand general would not let anything disturb his concentration and emotional stability. All of this Nomkneer gathered from the grand general while just looking at him, only until the moment where the hologram came up was that his confusion would be halfway cleared.

"A game sir?"

Gazing at the hologram, the kaleesh noticed this was not just any game, this was chess, space chess to be exact and a strange way to teach someone. He was prepared for whatever the grand general would teach him, it was time for him to make his first move, the kaleesh doesn't know much about chess but seeing all the pieces looking like ships, fighters and star destroyers. Everything made a little more sense as he moved one of the pawns, a dog fighter one step forward.

"your turn sir"

The pup seemed unsure, as though chess was a foreign concept to him. Isamu felt a prevailing sense that the Artisian General had neglected an overall strategy. “Fools rush.” Isamu said. “Don't be a fool. Take your time.” Isamu crossed his arms. He was in no haste to make his opening move. The Grand General gazed at the hologram, his mind shifting through various different strategies. He grit his teeth, mulling over the options for a time, but eventually settled on one. He extended his arm, and input his commands into the terminal. The pawn came to life, and played through its flying animation as it moved up two spaces. “Tell me. What do you know of the Battle of Balmorra?” Isamu abruptly asked.

[member="Nomkneer"]

Carefully looking at the moves his new found teacher has made, Nomkneer seems to understand what he meant by taking his time. Sometimes a quick decision and swift action is not enough to overcome a dangerous situation. Within a small game of chess was a vast space for learning, the kaleesh decided to sit back as he carefully laid eyes upon the table. Isamu having asked about the battle made Nomkneer a little curious as to why the question, little did the kaleesh know about such battle but he was intrigued to learn more about it and why he brings the topic of all times.

"I dont know much about the battle, heck you could say i know nothing honestly. I only heard words passed down from ear to ear, cant really trust such information to be true. what happened in that battle?"
