Space tactics symposium

So, had a thought while giving my kid a bath. We could host an IC space tactics symposium/conference. From our faculty, [member="Camellia Swift"] and [member="Valiens Nantaris"] come to mind, and [member="Ayden Cater"], [member="Captain Larraq"] and [member="Popo"] might be interested in making an appearance, among others. People could present/discuss board fleet battles and why they turned out the way they did, maybe compare faction naval readiness, talk galactic strategy... Thoughts?

I could pop up for this.

The perception of space. The physics of movement within a vacuum and in Zero-G as separate ideas, and how the two combine to effect the movement of ships in space.

There is no Up and Down. The perception of three dimensions in naval combat and the freedom to operate accordingly.

Beyond the Physical. How to see beyond the strengths and weaknesses of a ship and make her perform as you need her two. Weak weaponry, poor fire arcs, structural weaknesses, exc.

My thought is that we'd have a small panel of 3-5 experienced fleeters who'll make presentations and/or discuss. I could act as moderator, meaning giving them questions to discuss. Obviously the thread would be open to all Academy students/faculty/visitors.

I'd be so up for this. This sounds exciting. Discussing what were seemingly galactic turning points in naval warfare would be great.
