Spar was born on Nar Shadaa to drug dealer parents and living in poverty. He grew up hungry and angry at his parents for not choosing a better path. So eventually he was old enough to be considered an adult. Spar stowed away on a freighter and went to Coruscant. There, he enlisted in the army and served several years. He left the Republic, turning his back on them in favor of joining the One Sith. He received training for the Royal Guard and later left. He then joined the Imperial Remnant and kept his armor from his guard days, although he ceased wearing his helmet.
