A medium/light SpecForce suit of armor.

Image Source: 1) Playstarbound 2) Photobucket
Intent: Protection for the SpecForce Commandos
Development Thread: None
Manufacturer: Republic Military
Model: N/A
Affiliation: SpecForce Troopers, notably @Jaster Starfallen
Modularity: High
Production: Minor. Originally for SpecForce Troopers. Production was stopped, but it eventually became popular.
Material: Mandalorian Iron (Found here)
Classification: Multipurpose
Weight: 115 pounds, average. Or 52 kilograms. (All medium parts)
Quality: 7 for multipurpose reasons. Modifiable, heavy, but durable.
Special Features: None unless attached.

Strengths:
Modularity: Each trooper can customize the armor to his or her fighting style.
Durable: The armor holds up for a long time and will serve the user for a long time.
Tactical Use: The armor was designed for combat, not for jobs like guard duty.
Lightsaber Resistant: Due to the Mandalorian Iron, the armor is resistant to most lightsaber attacks.

Weaknesses:
Heavy: The armor is very heavy and was not designed for use over long periods of time.
Lack of parts: Manufacturing of this armor was stopped, so it is hard to find interchangable parts.
Weak spots: There are weak spots in the armor, most being near the joints. The back of the suit is thinner so is less effective at stopping attacks.

Description: The armor was originally designed for a handful of SpecForce strike teams, but grew in popularity as time went on. Sadly, manufacturing was stopped long before it became popular so parts are limited. (Order now!) The armor can hold up to many attacks but is weak in certain areas, like the elbows, sides, knees, and back. These sets of armor were designed for the heat of battle and professional soldiers. It would do you no good to wear it on guarding or escorting duties. The armor is now most wearer's favorite sets, saving lives on many occasions.
