- Features a concealed, retractable manipulator arm that allows it to do things such as open doors, carry small objects (or say throw a grenade back) and serve as a scomp link. The main purpose of the droid is bloodshed, so its slicing capabilities are limited. Advanced security systems are and encryption methods beyond it, but it helps the machine get by.
- Advanced droid brain. This is not on the level of say an HRD, but it means the droid is capable of a higher degree of thought than 'move, point, shoot until it stops moving'. Instead it can utilise actual tactics, assess risk and evaluate a situation at a rapid rate. This means that when the droid finds itself outmatched in the field, it will adjust its approach instead of death charging.
- Communications scrambler to suppress enemy communications. Particularly advanced or exotic communicators may remain unaffected unless close to the droid.
- Potent terror weapon and combat model. Particularly suited for close quarter combat and fighting in forests. It is scary and good at rending underbrush or barricades apart as well as breach hulls and bulkheads. Its vibrosaw blades are good at inflicting damage on armoured targets and it features a plethora of other potent armaments. Moreover, it can use its legs to spear people or strike at gaps in their armour.
- Very fast and flexible. Its six mechanical limbs are powerful and capable of propelling the droid with an impressive speed. It can traverse most forms of terrain and is quite good at climbing. The droid is not quiet per se, but what it lacks in stealth it more than makes up for in mobility and impressive speed. Because it is a droid, it does not get tired, which means it can pursue a target without pause. It is capable of driving its legs through everything from hard-packed dirt to duracrete in order to climb nonmagnetic surfaces.
- Contrary to the stereotype of the dim-witted automaton, this droid is quite smart, though not groundbreaking. Its intelligence is broadly comparable to that of a predator.
- Its spider-like legs, while reinforced, are an obvious weak spot to target. It can still walk when as long as it has half of them, but this will result in a notable decrease in speed, flexibility, agility etc.
- The spider-like skittering serves psychological warfare purposes, but can also, depending on terrain, tip off an opponent. The vibrosaws are also the exact opposite of quiet when they get going.
- The droid has limited use outside of pure bloodshed. It is designed to kill things and that is largely it. Thus it is not a model for social interaction, infiltration or high-grade slicing.
- When the droid uses its max speed, it draws on a lot of power and increases its heat signature. This makes it more easily detectable by thermal sensors.
Enyo is tireless in a very literal sense. She does not need to eat or drink and does not feel fatigue or get tired in the usual sense. She can operate with only one hour's shutdown a day for 'sleep'. This means she can work at a task for hours without distraction. So how does Enyo use all her time? Plot murder, micromanage her enterprises, spy on her siblings, and design death machines. She also reads quite a bit. One night Enyo was tinkering in her private workshop. Working with machines relaxes her.
Thus she naturally came up with a death machine. Her droid legions already had plenty of HRDs and other types of assassin droids and and her sister Thuella had recently designed a wholesome way to digitalise an organic's consciousness. When she saw the finished product, her sister Caimohe told her that it was creepy, even by her standards, and asked Enyo whether she had been bored. The posse calls it the Flesh Gorger or 'Stud' just to annoy her.
It would not be inaccurate to say that the design goes out of its way to make the droid look creepy and unnerving instead of adopting the humanised design common for many battle droid models. A scared or nervous foe becomes careless, after all. Uncanny optics aside, the droid's movements produce a skittering sound reminiscent of those of a spider. This supplemented by the grinding noise of the vibrosaws when they get going.
The droid's legs are powerful, giving it a high degree of speed, and razor-sharp. Thus they can not only kick opponents, but strike at joints and other gaps in armour. Their sharpness is broadly comparable to a good vibrosword. Aside from its melee capabilities, the droid can be equipped with and utilise a plethora of ranged weapons, though it is designed for combat at medium and close range instead of far range sniping. The droid is well-suited for close quarter combat and can traverse a variety of terrain. It can fight in forests, using its vibrosaws to rend underbrush or barricades apart and cut down trees, but is also capable of navigating the hull of a starship or climbing the walls of a building.
