Since our timezones vary a lot, this will serve as an OOC Discussion for OS's intel mission on the GR's dominion of Yutan. Take note since the GR are closing in on finishing their dominion, the setting of this thread of this intel operation will be after the Galactic Republic has succesfully clutched under their reign the planet of Yutan.

Spoiler: Mission Brief || OS PoV

The One Sith Intelligence has dispatched agents on a mission to gather valuable information on Yutan, based on a rumor of possible Galactic Republic interference in the planet's politics. The rumor lacks any details of what exactly is going there and being so vague usually tends to be disregarded. Yet, Lord Karolus Krupp has heard a second rumor from his personal informants that indeed the Galactic Republic might be dipping their finger on Yutan. The reasons, if this rumor is actually true, remain yet unknown. It could even be a birthday party and a Galactic Republic representative to be invited to the occassion.​

Despite that possibility, Karolus Krupp decided to be bold and has dispatched a few agents to see what they can find out. Dmitri Romanov and Krayzen Dratos have been picked for this operation, both fresh in the eyes of Karolus, but capable nonetheless. Lord Karolus Krupp's recent report to his higher-ups in the One Sith has urged them to, surprisingly, send two more for assistance - Darth Ferus and Niysha. The first, Karolus knew of his rank and expertise in eliminating threats from the shadows but no more. The latter, Krupp had found her in one of Sinistra's spy lectures and she still remained an enigma to the man. The Minister was never one to approve interferences in his own line of work but it would be foolish to deny the will of Sith Lords.​

The aim of the operation was simple: Find out if the rumors are true and if there is indeed a Galactic Republic influence bigger than just a diplomat visiting for a cup of tea, to immediately attempt to gather valuable information of absolutely any kind.​

On the other side of the bridge of spies the Galactic Republic's Intelligence Bureau was as busy as they could get.​

With the current political instability in the Galactic Republic camp, their intelligence bureau were busy working double shifts. As such they seemed much more aware of every bit of information they could get their hands on. With the recent acquisition of Yutan to the side of the Galactic Republic and the resources it provided, Faith Balor-Organa knew well the importance of preventing any enemy eyes on the Republic's newly acquired assets. Experienced and capable in their line of work - Fixx Kearney, Ali Hadrix, Keira Ticon may soon enough be called to do their job. This time not gathering data, but preventing it from being gathered.​

I've refrained from adding much into GR's Mission Brief as that is totally your faction's business but I'd feel bad if there would be an OS one only up.

I would have loved to but a loa is in the works so I think Yutan will be finished before I return.

Butthis Spy thing is so awesome that I hope it is something that can be reoccuring in future doms/threads as well

I dont mind really, you're in Sin's lecture as well. Why are you not in OSI though if you dont mind me asking ?

Alright so I might as well just start with the basic of it. I am not a fan of pre-structured plots with start to finish cause that takes the fun out of the RP so basically the whole deal is this:

The One Sith Intelligence will be attempting to gather all sorts of data about GR's recent or soon-to-be addition to its territory - the planet Yutan.

Of course, since metagaming is strictly forbidden and I, in no way, do I support it or ever will cause it kills everything, Mantic's post serves as a good idea of what might be found if the operation is succesful. Obviously, ICly no one knows from the OSI, no one even knows which Republic figures are down there or anything like that. This will be attempted to be gathered ICly in this eventual thread, that's the whole point and logically GR's counter-intel is going to try and prevent us from doing that.

Moreover, I want everyone who has any remarks or limitations (e.g: No potential of character death) to impose in this thread I'd be glad for us to discuss them, in the end roleplaying is a result of teamwork.

The plot itself, as I said, won't have any structure leaving it all to the creativity of the writers and the outcome will come as a result of the writing. Keeps the fun in roleplaying as well.

Another small note would be that when everyone's ready to get this thread up ICly, it would be logical for us - the OSI - to be starting it.


Note to OS participants: Those interested in this operation please PM me. This doesn't include Dmitri Romanov and Krayzen Dratos as they already confirmed first via Skype.

I like the idea here, and it's about time we did some spy-vs-spy. I haven't seen Mark Crassus in ages, and I don't know how active Fixx Kearney is, so I'll volunteer to act as lead writer for the Republic's spies, working under the more prominent Republic characters.

Your premise seems solid, but I think we should figure out what sort of information you guys might be targeting and we can make that the focus of the defense. Unless you just want to leave everything completely open, I'll want you guys to get your round of posts up first so we get a better idea of how to initiate our own.
