APPEARANCE:
Spike looks to be of average height and weight. His hair is a light brown colour, and his eyes are an icy blue. The clothes he wears are well-kept. A look of determination can be spotted on his countenance.
BIOGRAPHY:
Spike was born on a Republic world and taken from his family at a young age in order for him to train in the ways of the force. Throughout his early years he would slowly develop a cynical attitude towards the Republic and the values they stood for, although he stayed with the organization regardless. Spike has always excelled in his studies due to his natural undying work-ethic.

That is the version of Spike's biography he likes to tell, but it seems like it was cropped down. What really happened -- Spike was born into a affluent family on Coruscant, strangely enough this family was of Lorridian heritage, the same people who were once slaves for a time. The source of Spike's parents income came from a series of smart investments, and as such his family would like a very lavish life where nothing couldn't be bought.

Before Spike was sent away to the Jedi order he was given a black Lorridian gemstone by his mother as a parting gift, its significance is mostly sentimental, but also a promise to return home someday when he was a man, and to claim his inheritance.

Sometime later, Spike's mother would pass away due to complications from illness. Spike was too young at the time to travel home to see her before she died, and because of this Spike blames the Order, further solidifying his cynicism and slight hatred for the Jedi.

So, Spike spent the greater part of his youth as apart of the Jedi order, but it was never enough to be able to use the force, and this is where Spike developed his diligence in his studies, he needed to strive to become more than the norm. Knowledge and power are Spike's vices, he needs more of both to become greater, at least in his own mind, and he will do nearly anything to do so. He knows the order has artifacts of great power, and they are keeping them from him, for this reason he has become cynical, he can't see why they keep power locked up when it should be used to better themselves.

While on a mission Spike had his left had severed, it would eventually be replaced with a cybernetic Prosthetic. During the same mission Spike also lost his first lightsaber, at the same time he also killed his first foe, a Sith apprentice. (Wipperoni)
