Spin doctoring the attack on the casino

I have a suggestion for the attack on them casino but would like to ask permission first.

I can have small army of droids do repair work as well as cart away the bodies. We do a press release saying this was all a show as part of the casinos pr.

We even hired some down on their luck black Suns to act the part. Release a fake video slandering the Suns asking for money for the act, cutting their rep as well as controlling whT people think. What do you think?

I haven't read the thread fully, so what I'm about to bring up might be completely wrong.

Issue #1 :

We only have a Tier 2 mass-media corporation, which is to say, it has a very low reach and prestige, while the suns can claim to turn all of their worlds networks on us and overwhelm us on the media front with ease if we go about it head on with slander and libel.

Issue #2 :

Claiming it was a PR stunt gone bad is easy to turn against us as well, as the Suns can either use this to show their subordinates that we are unable to properly protect their business and interest from outside aggression, and that they are still better served to pay protection towards the Suns. They can also claim us to be either naive or stupid for believing that even the poor sob that's had a bad streak of luck in the Suns would betray his bosses and family for some easy money. Raises their public image and morale. Not to mention that, if I'm not mistaken, some civilians got nicked in this engagement, and it will hurt our public image even harder.

Alternatively, they can release documents proving their income this quarter to not come, in any way, shape, or form, from any known Red Raven accounts or handlers, as well as release public statements from the personnel that attacked the Casino to attest that it was not a PR stunt, at which point they can again point towards this event as a sign of our weakness and inability to defend our clients, while also adding dishonesty and a lack of professional ethics to us.


Again, I could be wrong as fuck in this regards, still gotta fully read the thread.

My take is whether or not it is true, we need to reassure our customers that it is nothing more than a show or we will lose patrons fast. To be honest, that makes me more worried than reassured in this matter. If the charade falls apart and the truth reach the light, it can possibly demolish the public image of you two. The Fringe and Pubs, if they have at least two neurons between their member base, will no doubt jump at this opportunity and put their own media campaigns into overdrive to discredit the Ravens, CIS, and most importantly, you two.

I'd suggest playing the long haul with this issue, making a martyr out of any would-be whistle blower in the Suns backyard by having them do our dirty work in a way we could disprove any involvement in this matter and claim that the people are tired of the incompetency and bloodthirsty nature of the Suns, while reassuring our clients and keeping them in our pockets by presenting ourselfs as a more sane, and reliable alternative, to the only other cartel out there, A.K.A the suns.

Commenting on the attack, he ignored the 1000 security guards blocking the only exit. This is what a thousand people look like. Have fun trying to get through that without being shredded by slug throwers, blasters and every type of weapon.

About the media, I don't think we should issue a statement about the attack apart from that the recent attacks have been apart of terror organisation and not a gang war. If people think we're fighting the Suns, it won't go well at all for our casino.

If pressed by the media, I would suggest saying it was a patron who was targeted, and that while the loss of life was regrettable, look what a good job we did protecting said patron, because we care about our patrons.

Surely you've a few people who owe the house some money and are well known enough for it to be believable? Businessmen, entrepreneurs, minor politicians.. A forgiveness of debt would certainly make some of them grateful enough to be very grateful in the public eye. Particularly since I doubt you just give those who owe you a smile and a pat on the back. I believe bolt cutters were mentioned at one point..

Give them what they think is a big fish to look at who we 'saved' and all the larger media outlets will forget the little fish that we didn't.
